I do not normally do reviews but after reading the review from Joe H., I feel compelled.
Paul Dominguez built my home in Los Gatos in ²⁰⁰⁷⁄₂₀₀₈ and I had a wonderful experience. Soft spoken, knowledgeable, consultative and extremely competent. I insisted on being involved in everything and that can be difficult for contractors. Paul worked side-​by-​side and completed my custom home in the Downtown Los Gatos/​Historic District in 10 months. We are thrilled with our home and the process left us with a great feeling in the end. Not everyone who builds a house can say that.
The first experience with Paul was so great that we hired him again. Paul is now building a home for us in Santa Cruz. ⁶⁄₇ years later, Paul is the same stand-​up guy we worked with years ago and the process is running beautifully. I am involved-​once again-​and I probably drive him crazy but you’d never know it. Paul takes pride in his work & really wants to give the customer what they want.
I have to laugh at the comment above re: threats, etc. All of my neighbors in Los Gatos & Santa Cruz have made a point to tell me how much they love Paul. Paul keeps his job site clean & secure & is so respectful to all of the neighbors. Paul is always on the job & there is no yelling or disrespect shown to anyone. If you meet Paul, you will laugh at the above review.
Feel free to personally contact me if you are thinking of hiring Paul. Best decision I ever made… which is why I decided to hire Paul twice.

Paul Dominguez Building Contractors is working on a property behind my home currently and I have had several issues with them moving my property and not putting it back. I have requested several times nicely, called the city inspector for the town and now I have had to involve police due to receiving threats of bodily harm. I would advise against using these people if you want to avoid getting sued by your neighbors.
