The bakery is excellent, but we love coming here for breakfast on the weekends. Their breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos are amazing. I could not do it justice to describe it in a review. By far the best breakfast sandwiches and burritos I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many

the wife has been wanting to try this bakery for some time now and decided because it’s Friday I’m going to break my diet. We ordered the blueberry scones and a breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was pretty average but tasted more healthy with way less grease and nothing dripping from the tortilla. Hence a Mexican point of view. The scones on the other hand we’re down right exploding with flavor. Darn good! Next Friday will be back to try out more of the variety pastries. They do have Wi-Fi cozy seating area quick and friendly service. I am so happy they are in Morgan Hill. Keep it up Larson bakery.

The best customer service from a bakery I’ve received in a long time(geez I miss Aki’s). Moving on, came in with zero expectations other than getting my hands on something sweet to share and I had no idea where to start. Once you walk into the bakery your senses are overwhelmed, it smells so yummy! I was greeted and helped immediately. Didn’t get a name but when I told her it was my first time she gave me her recommendations and future suggestions. Then I read this sign that says«Fresh Beignets». WHAT!!! I haven’t had a beignet since my trip to New Orleans, I have to get them. They do seem to be a made-to-order type of thing, so it’s definitely on my next visit list. I did, however leave with a Chocolate tart: pecan pie with chocolate and a Charm’s Blondie: which looks to be like a brownie. They do offer a simple and delicious(sounding) breakfast and lunch menu. And if you join their rewards program via email, you can recieve free stuff! Earn 1 point for every dollar that is spent. SOLD! Looking forward to my next trip out.

They have tasty goodies but it’s a real inconvenience that I’ve been here a few times & find they’re closed during open hours. Customer service is not great either.

Truly fabulous, homemade pastries and breakfast items. Highly recommend. High quality food is made even better by the absolute extraordinary service. A special callout to Natalie for her graciousness and above and beyond customer service!

Super sweet staff, one of the best pumpkin muffins I’ve had, and usually a Starbucks snob but my latte definitely made the cut! Veggie wrap, toad in a hole, and the quiche omelette were all delicious. Good size portions so don’t feel the need to over order like we did. New to the area and will for sure be back!

I read through the reviews of this place and am confused by the bad ones. Then I realize that they are generally non local city snobs. To them, take your poor reviews and decorated cappuccinos elsewhere. Here we have a little bakery that is great. Its not the food, the coffee or the people but rather the combination of all. Its hard to find a place that thanks you on the way out and ask you how your day is going. In all honesty it sucks that we live in a world where a business Unilocal review can drastically impact the ability for a business to be extremely successful. When it comes down to it, low reviews start having an impact on peoples livelihood. This is a guy that in the time of Peats and Starbucks decided to open a «mom n pop» bakery. That if nothing else deserves 5 stars. We need more of this in the bay. The food is great, some say salty and that the portions are huge but that is what I like about it. Yea its a bit expensive but I can nearly feed myself for the entire day off a single breakfast burrito. Suddenly the cost covering two meals is not so bad. There are also people on Unilocal saying that Morgan Hill locals will«overrate Lawson’s widely», their ignorance impresses me. This is a newer place that is still gaining horsepower. To not understand that and to not take this place as a whole package of culture, food, and coffee is simply elementary. For them relax, go get high take a step back, I can feel the stress boiling through my screen. Also I hope you get a flat tire today or have some sort of crazy automotive malfunction. Bottom line; this place is dank, the chicks are beautiful and nice as ever, and the owner supports his family off a one of a kind bakery shop. Cheers boss, Ill support you any day.

«All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.» ― Charles M. Schulz A thin, watery hot chocolate paired with an oversized potato filled breakfast burrito served with indifference. Yeah, I’ve experienced better especially for $ 14.00 which included tip. The less food knowledgeable, or those in Morgan Hill hoping this place will get better, will overrate Lawson’s wildly.

I just went here for breakfast and it was the best breakfast I’ve ever eaten. I ordered a quiche lorraine omelet and everything on it was cooked to absolute perfection. There was so much food I could barely eat it all. It was a sunday as well so the place was pretty busy. I was told it was going to be a 30 minute wait but I only waited for around 15 minutes. This place is such a little hidden gem in Morgan Hill! Definitely stop by here if you have the time!

I ordered the breakfast sandwich and substituted bacon for the sausage. It was tasty! I had an iced coffee which was sort of watery. However, the beignets were AMAZING. It was my first time having them and I will definitely be returning for more. Overall the feel of the shop was friendly. It was pretty pricey. The breakfast sandwich was $ 8 the beignets were around $ 6 I also purchased a mocha for my friend. Altogether I spent a little over $ 23 for four items. I love that it’s a local business. I do not support Starbucks. The staff was very friendly! Great service. They seem like a popular business. this place was nice over all.

Large, delicious breakfast burritos and tasty decadent desserts and pastries. I couldn’t try them all unfortunately, but the cream puff was awesome. Not too sweet and the cream was very fluffy. I recommend sharing a breakfast burrito so that you have room for something sweet too. Overall, a very pleasant place to have breakfast. Parking was a breeze, though finding it was a bit challenging because it’s tucked away in a generic looking plaza. Well worth the trip though!

Breakfast burrito was decent a bit salty, pretty big. Came with a very small amount of salsa on the side. Would of liked more. Ordered a mocha and it came about ¾th of a cup full. It had a slight burnt taste. It’s pretty expensive but to each his own. The desserts are great. That’s the only thing I would come back for. Customer service is good.

I had a very sad and weak cappuccino, along with a diluted double shot on a Wednesday morning on my way down to Santa Cruz. My order was first, but delivered last among a wave of four people. I didn’t really appreciate that.

Even though my order was wrong & took quite a long time for it to be fixed, the breakfast burrito I originally ordered was pretty good. The proportion was super generous. If I would have known, I would have definitely shared with my friend, who also had the same. It came with salsa(well mine did. she didn’t get it for some odd reason). I was pretty stuff after scarfing the first half. Could use more flavor or more salsa could be provided. Maybe give some add-on options like spinach, diced tomatoes, or even meat. But I guess thats more of for a restaurant rather than a bakery/café. Service was poor because the cashier somehow heard breakfast sandwich instead of breakfast burrito… so I ended up having to wait an extra 20 mins from the 20 mins I was already waiting on. The food took a really long time to come out, even without the mistake. But the pastries looked sooo delicious! Something I would have to try, if I ever come back.

As always, perfection. The toad in the hole is super good and a light breakfast. Can’t leave without a scone though! Carly makes a great cappuccino!

Review solely on their star beignets with caramel sauce. The caramel sauce is what make these beignets taste SOOOO goood!!! I probably could’ve eaten the entire bag myself, but I held back!

One of the best bakeries I’ve been to in such a long time. Lawson’s is a cutesy, modern bakery in a small plaza off Monterey Rd. in Morgan Hill. Since it is tucked away in the corner you can easily miss it but you really shouldn’t. I found out about this lovely bakery through one of my Unilocal friends, the pictures captured my eye and the reviews were all great so I thought since I’m frequently in the area I will go one morning and give them a try. I live in the East Bay so they aren’t close to my house but I would gladly drive 45 mins out of my way to come here, they are that good. The weekends is when this place gets really packed, sometimes the line is out the door. Once you walk inside you can see directly to the kitchen which is something that I like, nothing beats seeing your food and the baked goods being prepared and cooked. There is also a big display case with all the yummy baked goods, they have all the usual items such as sticky buns, bread pudding, cookies, coffee cake and various other pastries. They also serve hot breakfast items as well such as breakfast burritos, quiche, omelets and their popular star shaped Beignets. Everything looks and smells so awesome that it can be difficult to figure out what you should get. Their tuxedo cheesecake bars and their blondies were very yummy but the real star to me was their Beignets. Unlike the traditional square Beignets these are star shaped and instead of being covered in powdered sugar they are covered in cinnamon and sugar, served with their homemade caramel sauce. These light and airy Beignets go great with the caramel sauce. Not only are the baked goods delish but the service here is wonderful, everyone here is very friendly and they treat you like family. I definitely will continue to come here either when I’m in the area or I will make a special trip here and I will be trying these breakfast burritos that everyone is raving about!

Came here for the grand opening. It was busy & the taste reflects that. Took about 20+min to receive our food. I opted for the Apple Cinnamon coffee cake, Quiche Omelet & Beignets Say what you want about a man eating quiche but how often do you see a quiche omelet on the menu? The thick cut bacon was the x-factor in my opinion, none of that paper thin fugazee bacon. Throw in the melted cheese & onions and it was a winner. The apple coffee cake was excellent; moist, sweet and the cooked apple bits were done to perfection. I’ve had different versions of the beignet. Can’t say if it’s like the ones from Café Du Monde although based on appearance it looks similar. They were light & airy bites of sweetness Aside from a mishap or two in the ordering accuracy, I will definitely return here. There are few good breakfast spots/bakeries in the area and this is one of them. I hope that with the constant rotation of different places filtering in and out of this plaza Lawson’s stays for good

Made a long-awaited visit to try the much anticipated beignets. Absolutely loved them. I haven’t had many beignets, but what I tasted seemed like a superb rendition. The outside was noticeably crisp but quickly gave way to a fluffy interior that melts in the mouth. With the dusting of powdered sugar, it’s enough to enjoy without the caramel sauce, which is not overly sweet or thick. There’s around ten pieces in this $ 6.50 order, but I shared most of them away. I got a breakfast burrito on the side. It wasn’t a huge portion, but it should fill up most people. If you’d asked me about paying $ 8 a few weeks ago, I would’ve balked, but considering the recent spike in egg prices due to some California state law, it’s quite a solid value for the huge amounts of egg, plus potatoes, bacon, sausage, cheddar, and scallions in a tortilla. Unfortunately, I wasn’t blown away. Perhaps some chorizo flavor and more pronounced cheese texture would have helped. I’d try something else or go elsewhere for a savory treat. Let’s forget about that burrito though. Best beignets in Morgan Hill! Possibly the only beignets in Morgan Hill too. All kidding aside, I really have been thinking about them all day after(or because of) eating just a few, and they should match up favorably at least against anything that San Jose offers. Only refraining from 5 stars because of a boring breakfast burrito and some misses in the small baked goods department(including a lackluster $ 2 croissant today).
