Food was excellent! Small little dive, so be prepared to wait for your food. Lots of to go orders, 2small tables to sit inside, but there is outside seating. Great service, fresh food! If your local or can call ahead it’s the way to go. Great location, for walking off the wraps, because they are BIG! Thumbs up!

So-so food. Its fast food, nice location. Not much else to say. If you’re hungry and need a quick fix, this will do. If you have time to sit down, hit any of the other restaurants on the block.

My Sister in Law has cancer. Nothing tastes good but she was craving mediterranian food. I called in and a woman took my take out order. Asked for no onions. At first she was hesitant because the kabobs are made with onions. I explained«I just want her to eat and she’s craving this food». She personally ensured the food was made with no onion and my sister in law ate a huge meal. None of us had been here before but we will ALL be back. Bless you guys! Can’t say enough nice things about the service or the food! LOVEYOUGUYS!!! PS I called them back later to make sure they knew how much they rocked!

I have to eat here at least once a week. Absolutely have to. Mr Falafel is there like every day, but that might not really be his name

Delicious food and super nice staff! If you’re a first timer, don’t be shy, just ask and they’ll make a great recommendation! I always get the falafel salad. I am a big eater and always have leftovers! A must try is the lentil-rice salad. Omg! That alone is worth going for. Drool.

We randomly stopped in on a road trip to Mr. Falafel. The food is excellent. We ordered the falafel deluxe, the veggie plate and the Schwarma wrap. All of it was fresh and flavorful. The bread and the hummus were divine. You can taste the smokey flavor of the eggplant in the babaganoush which my husband devoured. The owner was very pleasant and friendly and really went the extra mile. Our daughter was asleep in the car so we ate in our car and he sent his son out to drop off one of the wraps. Later he recommended some homeade baklava that his mom had made that morning. He made sure to heat it up so it would be perfect. My favorite part? The feeling that you’re family. My husband and I and the owner had so much fun talking. We are for sure coming back!

This is the first place I ever ate at in Morgan Hill and it is by far my favorite. Come prepared for some awesome food as well as some playful teasing from Mr. Falafel himself! Such a fun, great place to eat. PS their spicy sauce is AMAZING!

Great sidewalk dining or take out. The kids dig the kabobs. The wife digs the falafel and I dig the Shwarma. We all go for the baklava.

I was excited to go the reviews were so good. I had the lamb shwarma. Too much seasoning and not enough vegetables. I had to pay 1 $ for a little scoop of hummus. She felt bad and brought me 4 chips before my wrap was ready. Very little space. Outdoor sitting in the sidewalk. Paid 14 $ for a wrap and a beer. Not so exciting… Ill go again to try the falafel.

Food is fantastic. However, the owner is not customer service oriented. Very rude on the phone, then when I arrived he was yelling at the workers in between stuffing his face with his food, which he was eating at the register. Gave a bad impression. Otherwise it’s 5 star.

Had an appointment in Morgan Hill and read a few reviews. Nice little joint and my wrap was very tasty!!! Ordered a chicken shawarma wrap, added falafel and no tahini and was very satisfied… love the spicy sauce!!! Seating is outside with lots of parking in the back. Will definitely come back if I’m in MH. Thanks Me Falafel!!!

We came at around noon right when lunch traffic was picking up. It was a bit crowded, but not unbearably, and staff as well as patrons were courteous. Outside seating is spacious and provides shade for most tables. Ordered a kefta kebab and a cheeseburger with fries. I didn’t try the burger but heard no complaint from my friend. Fries and kefta kebab were tasty. Order came to about $ 22 with two beverages on top of it. Service is extraordinary, with both the man at the register and the woman taking orders and serving very personable. Several times I saw the same woman taking orders and serving come out and ask every table how they were doing. Very polite and enjoyable to interact with. Will be coming back. Mr. Falafel is awesome.

Our friends from Morgan Hill showed us this cute little restaurant! At first glance, it looked like a measly little food shack. But as we all know that saying, «big things come in little packages,» this little restaurant serve food with big flavors! I ordered the regular falafel wrap and my babe ordered the Schwarma wrap. This was probably one of the best falafel’s I have ever eaten(and I order falafels whenever I get the chance). The falafel itself was not dense at all, it was rather quite fluffy and flavorful. The spicy sauce/salsa had the perfect heat but it was even better when I mixed it with the tzatziki sauce. It really reminded me of my favorite falafel place L’As du Fallafel in the Marais neighborhood in Paris! Note to Mr. Fallafel: One thing that I would do to improve the wrap would be to put the purple radishes in the falafel wrap so that there’s more acidity in the wrap. I think that this will separate the fallafel wrap from other places. If you’re worried that customers won’t like it customers can always opt out. But at least make that an option! ;) If they nailed the fallafels, you know that the Shwarma is also nice and juicy!

Mr Falafel, why am I only knowing of you just now?! We were shopping in the Morgan Hill area when my son said he wanted Mediterranean food for dinner. I didn’t feel like driving to our usual spot in San Jose so I decided to check Unilocal on places nearby. .. and voila, we ended up here! From the time we walked in to the end, service was outstanding! We told them it was our first time there and they made sure we had the best experience. We both ordered lamb and beef shawarma’s and it was amazing. It was so big(that’s what she said) that I only ate half. They gave us free hummus and chips to try that were so addicting. The garlic fries were so flavorful and crispy. We had so much food that I wish I had space for dessert. .. next time I’m getting a baklava for sure! Billy was awesome explaining the different sauces and ways that we could customize our food to our liking and he made sure to check on us. Best time to come is when its warm out so you can eat outside and enjoy downtown Morgan Hill. Its a really small place with one table inside and a few tables on the outside. There is a public parking lot in the back of the restaurant. So glad I found this place! We loved the mom and pop feel. Now I don’t have to drive so far for great Mediterranean food!

Da Bomb So spicy, so tasty; I’d totally eat that again! This is so real deal Middle Eastern food, not just the tame gyros either. Chicken, beef, lamb sandwiches and plates are all good but beware when they ask if you want it spicy they aren’t kidding. I don’t remember if there was beer available but they did have loads of gourmet soda in bottles.

On a whim, I stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner, and I’m so glad that I did. I got the vegetarian dish that has a little of every thing. Hummus, baba ganoush, greek salad, tabbouleh, doma, and falafel. It was all delicious! It was so much food(even for me!). The only down side is that there isn’t really a place to sit. There’s one table inside, and the rest is outside, right next to busy Monterey. Morgan Hill has a lot of loud motorcycles and various cars. Being called Mr. Falafel is definitely appropriate. the falafel was the best part of my meal. Pro-tip: Get your food to go.

I’m from the 559 so this was a dinner pit stop while coming home from SF. I grew up in a Middle Eastern home where I ate home made falafel so I doubted that I would really enjoy the falafel but they proved me wrong. For those of you who have yet to try falafel, it’s essentially chickpeas, parsley, and garlic ground together and then deep fried into little balls. Sounds weird but very flavorful. The falafel here were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside, just as they should be. They don’t lie about those garlic fries either. You could probably kill a vampire by blowing a kiss to him after just one bite. We had the vegetarian plate and split a beef schwarma. The schwarma was just okay in my opinion but the veggie plate’s yalanchi and babganoush were both soooo good. The tabouleh salad could use a little more flavor and parsley. It was kinda dry so I suspect they don’t let the flavors meld long enough(we usually let ours sit for a few hours) but it was still good. Very friendly staff too. They let us use the employee bathroom instead of making us walk across the street and find a bathroom because we were about to pee our pants! This place is great for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Give it a go next time you have a Mediterranean craving!

While this place is not without its flaws, it’s still one of the best casual restaurants in Morgan Hill. The garlic fries are some of the best. You can get the same fries at A-Jay’s Cheese Steaks too, but since I’m not really a cheesesteak sandwich guy, I’ll go here. The fries are crunchy and fluffy and well-seasoned on their own, and the minced garlic and herbs will satisfy any garlic lover. I wouldn’t call their take on the falafel my favorite. That distinction still belongs to Falafel Drive-In. However, Mr. Falafel does use a sweet and spicy sauce in addition to tahini, and the deluxe version includes some nice additions in the form of hummus, eggplant, and potatoes. As I’ve said before, it’s a good alternative to driving from Morgan Hill to San Jose. The shawarma is what I’d come back for. You can taste the lamb with the beef, and the spices, veggies, and spicy and tahini sauces all complement the lavash wrap. I’m also a fan of how they actually fold the lavash because the filling is able to settle at the bottom, preventing a doughy last bite as you might get with other wraps. My only issue is that they sometimes give you tougher, chewier pieces of meat instead of tender cuts as you’d hope for. I’ve had the kefta kebab here too. It strongly resembles a hamburger patty aside from the presence of lamb. Aside from having ground meat, it’s pretty much the same as the shawarma. It’s an interesting alternative. Park on the street if it’s available, or use the lot behind the oversized shack that holds Mr. Falafel. They don’t close between peak lunch and dinner, so any time is a good time for a delicious wrap.

I love me some falafel and after finding this on Unilocal and having it catered in the staff room for treat Friday, I had to come here again! What we ordered dolmas, babaganoosh(sp?), and falafel. The dolmas were pretty good at .50 $ a piece. We originally ordered six, but the owner said«don’t you want 10 for $ 5» making it seem like he was giving us some discount when he really wasn’t. The babaganoosh was pretty good too! I’m not an eggplant fan, but the boyfriend loved it! The falafel: so I had wanted it packed separately since I wasn’t going to eat it for about an hour or so. I was given instructions on how to heat it up if I left it out too long, but was told it wouldn’t get soggy in an hour. Wrong… it was a bit soggy but still so good. Next time, I’d ask for some extra tahini on the side. Parking: they have a little lot that you get into through the back. You can’t get in from the main street because the signs are all exit signs. –1 star because the owner didn’t offer their Unilocal check in discount. He said they haven’t for a while and that’s fine, but then as an owner you need to find out how to get the offer removed from Unilocal
