Acevedo’s House of Poppy Jasper

I have visited this store many times and walked in and have talked to the owner, unfortunately this location has closed its doors and is not going to reopen any time in the future we sure will miss all the stories about the poppy Jasper here in the great hills of Morgan Hill and the stone at the Smithsonian Institute thank you for all the good memories.

I visited here a couple days ago. Absolutely beautiful jewelry for very reasonable prices! The owners are the sweetest people ever and they are very outgoing. I could spend a whole day in there just learning about the different stones. Definitely excited to go back and get some more beautiful jewelry.

This is a very unique jewelry store that also sells some antiques. The owner is very friendly and has made much of the jewelry he sells. His favorite stone, poppy jasper is for sale throughout the store and many of these stones were mined in Los Gatos. He enjoys talking about this type of jasper and I learned quite a great deal. All rocks and minerals fascinate me and I found it truly a pleasure to come into this store. The jewelry prices are very reasonable. I really hope to get the chance to go back there again sometime!
Pros:
–the owner is very knowledgeable regarding the semi precious rocks and minerals mined locally esp. poppy jasper (store has lots of poppy jasper for sale)
–a great selection of jewelry, many made by the owner
–most items are reasonably priced
