We came to this Panda Express at 9pm(they close at 9:30). Let me tell you about our experience – The food in the warming trays looked dry, not really appetizing and since there were three of us, the amount of food visible was a joke. I asked the clerk if they had planned to cook any additional food, the amount of food looked barely enough to complete a 2 piece platter. While I realize that the store closed in ½ hr, the last customer should be treated just as well as the first costumer. While I also realize the store was closing, an offer to cook, at least 2 of the normal amounts, or even a portion size, couldnt be accommodated. There were people that showed up after us and they looked at the available food options and also walked out! Based on this experience I would have to say that your facility lost the cost of meals for 6 people. We did not receive and«I’m Sorry Let me talk to my manager», Nothing! Very poor customer service — employees need to remember that it’s the customer(regardless of what time they enter the restaurant, first or last!) That helps to keep you employed, if customers aren’t satisfied they will more than likely share their experience with there friends who will share with their friends, etc…

My recently experience at Panda Express @ store #1246 was horrible. When my wife asked for brown rice, the staff informed her that they had ran out without letting her know how long it will take for the new ones to be made. Upon further asking, the other staff in the kitchen told my wife that it will take 2 hours to make new batch. When we are ordering beverages, I asked for a hot cup of water but was refused without stating any reason. The cashier then ask me to see if I am okay with hot tab water — which I agreed. When I was eating my food, I overheard their conversation that my hot tab water will not be served to me because they do not serve hot water — even tab. Even after the conversation, not one staff behind the counter made an effort to inform me that my hot tab water will not be served. I left the establishment after I felt like the staff there(besides Tyler A. and another gentleman who just came back from break) did not make any effort to do their job and walk the extra mile like the other Panda Express store I dined at. Upon further review on Unilocal,it has only contained 2 star rating and that there are numerous complaints in regards to staff attitude for store #1246. I will not visit this location ever again.

Christmas Day. Other restaurants were closed. We thought that there must be some standard quality with Panda Express. What a disappointment! Fried rice was uncooked. I could taste the raw rice. Chow mein is rubbery and tasteless. Tempura chicken is dried. Nothing is good except the place is clean.

Worst experience ever! I walked in and asked for a bowl of Kung Pau and mixed vegetables. The bowl was half full! I asked the server why it was so empty he looked at me and said there was nothing he could do. Service was horrible and I will never come here again. Condescending attitude!

Horrible service! Came here on a Sunday around 5 pm. They didn’t have chow mein or any of the items that are regularly ordered. I had to wait 10 minutes for chow mein then another 6 minutes for steam veggies then another 6 minutes for potstickers! And none of the staff was apologetic or anything. I guess they can’t handle a little dinner rush… I usually go to the one off Cochrane, guess I will be going to that one from now on! Ugh!

Clean, fast, and predictable. Food was freshly made. Music was a little loud. No outside seating at this location. Good value for the price.

Just what you needed, a dirty, overpriced place that asks if your change can go to charity.

I visited this place about 3:30 pm. The restaurant had 3 customers who were already seated and 3 workers. The girl was busy with some stainless steel containers and there were two other workers at the cash registers. After about 5 minutes the girl tells the 2 other workers, «customer». the 2 workers looked at me and continued playing with the cash register. They didn’t even acknowledge me. I think one of them was being trained as they were pushing buttons on the register and laughing. After another 3 or 4 minutes I just left. I can’t comment on the food but the service was horrible. I will never patronize this place again.

The food is pretty good but here is the problem: The portions are getting smaller every day. they are always running out of items. They are always short handed, causing long lines or long waits for food. They could fix these thing and become a 5 star business without too much effort.

There’s nothing express about this panda, if you go here be prepared to have to wait for them to make you food at any point during the day. I am a frequent panda eater and work all over Bay Area this is by far the worst one around. Go in on a Saturday for lunch and they have no food ready. What a disgrace to the panda name, the workers are lazy and rude drive to cochrane panda and don’t waste your time at this joke of an establishment. What a joke whoever is managing this place needs to get their exploitive together. They only got 1 star cause Unilocal wouldn’t let me leave 0

The food is good for how cheap it is. This location is WAY better than the one located on Cochrane. The food at the Cochrane location was not so good… The service at the Tennant location is kind of unorganized. It seems unmanaged. I would highly suggest have one person working the register instead of everyone running back and forth, lost trying to cover all positions. It really slows the service down. That’s why I had to give it a four star. Come on management~ get on it.

Tennent panda express serves small entrée portions and sometimes the flavor is inconsistant.

Could you actually put some food on my plate? Slow service, have to wait for stuff to be made. Inconsistent hot n sour soup. Huge amount of rice and the entrée too little!

Is this really Chinese food? I don’t think so. Chow mien looks and tastes like it has been here for hours. The rest was so salty I guess to mask the real flavor. There are many other descent Chinese placed around here that you would be best to go find one.

My family went and stop to get something quick to eat before our movie starts. Food is cheap and ok as usual. But one thing bothers me, is one staff(leslie) was inattentive. We asked questions twice, she looked at me but didn’t answer me at all like she didn’t hear what I said. Only to find out from one of the friendly staff(regina) that she(leslie) is the manager. No wonder why this branch has only two stars maybe because of the poor customer service.

«Forgive me, I guess I am off in the head, but I mean, except for a quickie piece of ass it wouldn’t matter to me if all the people in the world died. Yes, I know it’s not nice. But I’d be as contended as a snail; it was, after all, the people who had made me unhappy.» Charles Bukowski, Tales of Ordinary Madness This is nothing more than a quickie review and excuse to use that Charles Bukowski quote(Don’t worry, I actually like people… some people… not the jerk going slow in the fast lane who flipped me off when I motioned him to get the hell over because going slow is as a safety hazard as going fast). The N. Cal area Panda Expresses no longer have my favorite healthy dish: black pepper chicken. This particular Panda Express too, while the employees are very nice doing a hard job, frankly has consistently either lukewarm food or one has to wait for their particular entrée to be cooked and it is also usually not a very clean environment. The only reason to come here is the refillable Diet Pepsi but since Mini-me insists I slow down on the copious amounts of Diet Soda I drink well, there goes that excuse. There are plenty of hole in the wall Asian joints in Morgan Hill especially considering it’s small size of 40,000+ so go to one of them instead. My last visit here was with Mini-me and next time I will override his choice. It’s the only proper thing for a Dad to do ;)

Stopped here on the way home from a weekend trip, only because I was super hungry. Despite it not being anywhere near closing time, everything I ordered was lukewarm and the«Golden Treasure» shrimp was mostly sweet, sticky batter chunks. I only came here ’cause I was stupid hungry and I needed immediate fuel, but honestly for $ 8.49 I should have just picked up a to-go salad or deli sandwich from the Safeway in the same shopping center. This is definitely a meal I regretted.

Not sure why all the Panda hate… It’s cheap, chain Chinese food, people. Nobody promised gourmet! I like to get Panda to-go, I swear they give you bigger portions in the boxes than if you eat it there. Our favorite items: green bean chicken, fried rice, Kung pow chicken, pepper shrimp Not a fan of their chow mein or broccoli and beef(neither are as flavorful as their other dishes) It gets you a Chinese food fix cheap and fast. 3 stars because the service at this location is notoriously slow.

Came here at about 7:45 on a Friday night. It looked pretty busy, and there was only one employee filling orders, but honestly it wasn’t that bad because there were only 2 – 3 people ahead of my in line. I wasn’t extremely happy with the amount of walnuts the server gave on my honey walnut shrimp, and she wouldn’t heed my request to throw a few more walnuts on. Also, it seemed like she may have skimped on the chow mein. However, there was definitely a lot of orange chicken, so I’ll give them a pass overall. They actually didn’t give me a fork in the bag though, and I had to go to the back to get one. The cashier did not explain that omission either. This is sub-standard for Panda Express. The chow mein and orange chicken tasted fine. This was the first time I’d tried the Honey Walnut Shrimp here, and I made it a point to check it out because I always order that dish at Chinese seafood restaurants. The flavor was not overwhelming, but that’s kinda expected they don’t have the mayo-heavy sauce. Anyway, not sure what they used, the flavoring actually stuck fairly well to the shrimp, which isn’t always the case with the restaurant version. Walnuts were pretty sweet and crunchy, but it’s hard to screw that up. I’d say ~2.5 stars, but I’ll edge to 3 stars because I don’t see why people are dissing this place with all the one-star reviews. It was clean, the food came roughly as expected and I didn’t have to wait for an extremely long time.
