You really need to train your baggers how to bag and offer help to somebody with their foot in a cast instead of walking away and helping another bagger.

Is it sad to leave a review when you are shorted on your food? No because they are probably not going to believe me and why even bother to harass get to get the 20^th piece of chicken wing. I came in today to order a 20 of chicken wing box and the deli person put it in a box and sold it to me. When I was eating it I made a quick count and was shorted 1 pc. It was 70 cents for that piece — which is not much but please hire somebody who can actually count up to 20.

either they don’t carry an item, they are low on inventory or their food is expired

The people are always nice and happy to work here. The store is kept clean and orderly.
They have a good selection of natural and organic foods spread throughout the store. The fruits and veggies are always fresh. The people in the meat department is always helpful. Parking is always easy.
This is my go-​to place for my groceries.
Pro-​tip: Be sure to sign up for their club card because the savings for the gas adds up easily.

This Safeway has its ups and downs. Its overall good. As a former employee I know what goes on behind the scenes if you will. It is hard helping the mass majority of costumers who come in but most of them are hard workers.
Now when it comes to how the store is run for the consumers, that’s a whole other ball game. I went in to go and get some food for home and knowing where everything is usually takes me 20 min. I walk in one day and everything is different! No sign no warning, nothing. I was disappointment because what was once the better Safeway I’ve been in is now not that good. Just in my own opinion.

We love this Safeway. Location is perfect for a quick stop, clean facility, organized, has a Starbucks.
We recently stopped for flowers before attending a military burial. Jennifer in the floral department was incredibly thoughtful with amazing customer service skills. We were very satisfied with our purchase and can happily recommend this Safeway!

Over the last few years quality at both Safeways in Morgan Hill have gone down in quality. I have found food like prepacked individual salads, chicken, etc. that were expired or had been packaged 3 – 4 days prior. The employees also seem to not enjoy their job very much.

home delivery. This is the biggest waste of time and money. I placed an order for over $ 100 with a delivery the next day between 2p-​3p. When the useless driver showed up, he seemed lost about doing his job and if he had previously delivered the right items. The items were delivered in wet soggy bags. When I verified that all was there, I found that many of the items ordered were missing and the driver was clueless. He mentioned something about a credit in three to four days. Not once did he offer to have the missing items delivered later that day. He left without being any help. I called the 1 – 800 customer service number. The CSR was able to reschedule a replacement delivery that day between 4p-​6p. I got a call later telling me that the store manager refused to deliver the missing items, as promised. The str mgr stated the he didn’t want to devote any of his in store employees to pick the items or deliver them. He said I would have to wait for another day to get the items, that I had already paid for. Like I said this service is a waste! THIS IS WHY PEOPLE SHOP AT WAL MART!

It’s clean, but the last two times I’ve been in the employees clearly hate their lives and have been very rude. I’ve also noticed that I have to check expiration dates frequently because a wide majority of products are expired, including condiments. I just go across the street to Trader Joes to get produce now… The selection and quality of this stores produce is poor.

I have been shopping here for years. I do enjoy Safeway and love their app. But… The management not telling us they were going to remodel is not OK! I shop there weekly and if I would have known they were remodeling I would not have been so upset. But now I’m ticked. You could have given me a heads up. Especially since I would have continued to shop there for years to come… My business will be taken to the Tennant Safeway from now on.
Management please let us know what’s going on! It’s only common courtesy.

This place is the all time worst safe way ! Terrible service from employees and when I asked for the chicken salad the employee walked to his manager to ask to make some and I was more than 30 feet away and I could hear her saying «why?! For who? How much ?! «making me feel like I was not supposed to ask for the food that is supposed to be made already and put on display. I felt so out of place and the employee even said you ask a lot of questions. Again making me feel bad… I simply asked if they had it and how long it would take to make it and how much it costs pretty basic questions. After making me feel so awkward I just said forget it and waited for the slow sandwich makers to finish my friends sandwich It took them 15 min to make 1 sandwich… in that case I’ll just go to subway. So to end this complaint id say don’t go to this Safeway!!! Just go to the one off tenant ave. in Morgan hill. If any of this happens again to me I’m going straight to the store manager. two stars bc I like Safeway usually …

One of the nicer Safeway locations, with a friendly staff in all of the departments. The city of Morgan Hill now charged for bags, so bring your own bag! Other then that good store, nice, clean, and quiet!

Wow. This store is clean and organized. all the employees are friendly and helpful. Meat dept always gives me great tips on how to cook the meat and the guys in produce are the best. Love the bakery — cakes are so beautiful and the French bread is perfect

I don’t particularly care for this location. I often find the produce department lacking and I just discovered I purchased stuffed pasta that expired three days ago. I almost fed this to my kids…

Great store, friendly staff. Great prices on top of that club card savings. Clean store and always on top of all aspects of the store.

This store is great for last minute shopping that me and the wife need either for dinner or anything else

The customer service is terrible. I’ve been waiting for someone to show up at the customer service counter that I was directed to go stand at, by an employee, and have yet to see any acknowledgement whatsoever…

Wow Safeway on E. Dunne Ave, you’ve done it again! Just came home with 2 packs of chicken wings and BOTH had SPOILED ROTTEN. I wretched and nearly puked after opening 1 package. The other package was so bad, you could smell it through the plastic wrap. And to top things off, 2 of the 5 prepackaged salads I purchased had today’s expiration date. All 4 are going back NOW.
Why can’t you guys just sell FOOD that isn’t SPOILED? First the spoiled ham CUT BY THE DELI STAFF, and now this.
I guess i’m the idiot for going back and thinking MAYBE, just MAYBE things will improve.

This is a pretty good Safeway. The prices are OK, and the store has generally been clean and organized. The staff have always been friendly as well. The food has almost always been good quality. The only bad thing I have gotten is grapes, but I that must just be a NorCal thing, because I’ve had bad luck with grapes everywhere up here.
