I always had trouble managing my naturally curly hair, so one of my friends recommended Dayna to me many years ago. Once I visited Dayna, it quickly became clear that she is an expert. I had visited a few other stylists before who really didn’t know what to do with my curls other than put in some layers. However, Dayna is fantastic. She knows how to texturize curly hair, and she’s familiar with all the latest products and treatments. She’s also fun and friendly. I’d recommend her to anyone!

I was referred by Cody to this amazing hair dresser Stephanie. Have been coming here for about a year now and am always more than happy with not only the color, highlights, and cut, I have noticed my hair is much healthier since I have been going to Shear Color & Design, products used are the best.
I don’t mind driving from San Jose to Morgan Hill for the upbeat, great camaraderie amongst the team, everyone is so kind. Of course can’t get enough of a good conversation with Stephanie. I look forward to my visits.

I’m new to this salon, I followed my hair colorist Patty here! Patty has the patience & time to discuss what color or cut I want and if it’s right for my face shape. Patty is always current on the trending styles and colors. She advises me on what products I should use to prolong my color. I look forward to my appointments because I know Patty will work her magic and I will look like a million BUCKS! Thank You Patty!

My hair looks and feels beautiful. Stephanie did a root color with some gorgeous subtle highlights, a great long layered cut and style. I am very happy with the results. She also did color corrections for both my teenage daughters who ruined their hair with box dye! They both walked out of there looking great. Shear Color & design will be our go to place from now on. Atmosphere is fun and lively! Thank You Stephanie. You are AMAZING.

Patty is excellent with hair. My highlights look really natural and the cut was great. She didn’t take too much off the length but took just enough to make it healthy! She really listens. She also has very reasonably prices which is refreshing!

My hair stylist Patty just moved over to this salon and she is amazing! My hair has grown at least 8 inches since last December and the curls are so healthy. Patty takes the time to discuss color/​cut and what works best for my head.
Great price and even greater quality!
P. s. For the curly curls out there who prefer to keep it that way she is PERFECT.

Love this place and how I feel when I leave. I walk in a mess and come out a Rock Star. Thank you Steffanie. You are not only amazing with color and cut, but fun to sit and chat with which makes the time fly by.
Oh and let’s not forget the killer shampoo massage. Spoiled and Pampered is how to describe the visit to Shear Color and Design. Love it!

I’ve had great hair cuts and highlights here a couple times since moving to the area, and I will keep coming back. Stephanie is very nice and listens to what I want to get it right. I get so many compliments on my highlights, even from strangers! I highly recommend Stephanie and Shear Color & Design.

Got highlights put in to my long hair. It took FIVE hours for the stylist to put the foils in. WTF? My hair sat under the chemicals that long and it ruined my beautiful hair. I had to have 4 inches of it cut off at another salon.

I have been going to Shear for a few years now & absolutely love it! I have gotten my hair done by both Valerie & Stephanie & love the way they do my hair. Currently Stephanie is my hairdresser. I have gotten extensions, highlights, haircuts & an updo from her. She is amazing! I highly recommend Shear Color & Design!!!

My review is for a hair dresser at shear color and design. If I was going to rate the salon I would give it 4 stars because of a very obnoxious hair stylist whom insulted my sister on her wedding day. Any who my hairstylist is Lisa T. She does an amazing job every time! I have been getting my hair cut and colored by her for 7 years. When I tell her what I want even it is not very well described she always gets it right! When I don’t have any idea what I want she has many suggestions and it always come out great! Her pricing is very reasonable and she is very talented!
