Just went last week. They are not closed. You would think Unilocal would at least make a phone call to confirm a business is closed prior to reporting a business has closed. I ordered the duck confit for lunch and it was delicious, my friend got the halibut, flavor was good but was a little dry from being overcooked. The only thing I could see needed improvement was that we had to ask for refills on our water. I will definitely go back and recommend to friends.

A solid local eatery. Luncheon portions were fine and the prices were fair. Quality of food was very good and the presentation was pleasant. Not a «destination» restaurant, but a good safe place to have a very decent dining experience.

We came here a few weeks ago. the services was wonderful. I had the eggplant parmesan. It was delicious. My mom had the special and husband had the steak. They both enjoyed their meals. We ordered the burger for our daughter and it came out pretty rare so we sent it back for a more well-done burger. It took 25 minutes! The wine list is great. Tried two different wines, and enjoyed both glasses. The bread pudding desert was fantastic. Yum!

Decided to go to the Good Fork after reading on their menu online that dishes can be made gluten free. I have celiac disease so I must have a dish prepared carefully along with a severe dairy allergy so dining out at times can be difficult at times. We arrived for dinner on a weekday night after work and got seated promptly. I told our waitress about my concerns and she handled it really well. She talked to the chef when she didn’t know and made sure everything was done exactly how I would like it. New utensils, clean surfaces, and cleaned cooking surfaces. We first ordered just the appetizer of grilled artichoke which they did without the butter and boy was it good. I then determined with the servers help of course to order salmon and instead of the mashed potatoes they would do some small fingerling potatoes cooked in olive oil. The dish also came with a vegetable which they made sure not to cook in butter as well. My meal came out with everyone else’s and they assured me everything was okay. I always double check about my meal and the waitress was very understanding and willing to confirm any questions I had about. Everything though turned out smoothly and I enjoyed the food.

Do you want to try a fresh American local food? Then you should visit«The Good Fork» in Morgan hill. I’ve been there with my friend and it was very busy when we’ve arrived. Lucky enough, we could find a table for us! We had mussels and summer salad as starter. I choose a flounder dish and my friend had«Kobe beef hamburger», it looked delicious, too. A waiter for our table has been forgetting to tell the kitchen what we’ve ordered for our main course so we’ve waited for about 20 mins to get our dishes. Nevertheless, I satisfied with their service and the quality of food. Thank you, The Good Fork and Rob!

My mom and I decided to stop in for lunch at the Good Fork yesterday(Wednesday) around noon. We walked inside and were immediately greeted by a smiling face and were allowed to choose where we wanted to sit, their were only a couple other patrons eating at the time. After much deliberation over what I was going to have, both my mother and I decided on the Butcher Burger(Kobe Beef, carmelized onions, pepper aioli, mozzarella, lettuce, house made pickles) it also comes with house made chips. The chips come in these adorable little fryer baskets! My mom is on a low carb diet so we asked for a small green salad instead of the chips and no bun. They happily obliged and it came out just the way she wanted. Our burgers came out fast and looked and tasted great! My ONLY gripe would be that my bottom bun on the burger was pretty soggy only minutes after eating. I guess that means the meat is nice and juicy haha, but I dont really love a soggy bun. I also wish there was more of the aioli. The house made chips were SUPERB! Our server and the other staff were all very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend the Good Fork and will definitely be returning!

Doing some walking in downtown San Jose and found this little spot on the way so we stopped to get a few drinks and I tried«The Pinky» and it was awesome! Service was wonderful and had a great bartender!

One of the better restaurants in Morgan Hill hands down! First and foremost, the customer service was fantastic! The host was very friendly and happy to accommodate! And our server was just so warm and charming!(Davlyn? Great suggestions!!) To start we got the calamari– good not fishy tasting but nothing special… Asian chicken salad– delicious, full of flavor and a generous sized portion!(Rare) I had the duck confit… Which was fabulous!(A little heavy on the salt though) but well sized pieces and very tender and not too fatty! My in laws got the eggplant which they liked… And my husband got the special — fish… This review based primarily on my dining experience! And the bread pudding for dessert was superb!!! It’s hard to find a good bread pudding! Thanks for the great dining experience! Keep it up! We need good restaurants like this in Morgan hill!

We were there for lunch. It was quite slow. I am in California with some colleagues and we were looking for a quick lunch for our break. When the food came, it was fine. Nothing really to complain about there.

This place was a surprise hit! My beau, his brother and I walked here after their childhood favorite, Maurizio’s, was slammed. I was a little worried this place had most of its tables open on a Friday at 8, but the food turned out pretty great. Pricey for not being in San Francisco, but good service made up for it. Only big-ish bummer was my risotto(served with the $ 29 sea bass special) was more al dente than I am used to. I like al dente pasta as much as the next guy, but risotto isn’t usually one of those dishes and the risotto’s almost-crunchy texture plus its cream/cheese didn’t mix well with the perfectly cooked and seasoned sea bass. The boys had the petite ribeye specials on top of roasted veggies and mashed potatoes for $ 30. The regular menu ribeye was $ 45, so they were pretty thrilled about the special. It was also plenty of food– I can’t imagine what the full-size would have looked like. Crème brûlée had an interesting set of sauces on the plate to try, but I wished the waiter had brought a menu to look at– she only verbally told us the options and left us to decide; I tend to forget the first couple of choices when it’s more than two or three. I’ll definitely be bringing the future in-laws back here(if they don’t already know about it) next time we meet them for dinner in town.

Ate there for the first time on a Friday night with a friend. They gave us a cramped table which didn’t leave a lot of space for our plates, but the food was outstanding. Service was great and waitress was very friendly. We had mussels which were among the best I have ever had! Pork belly lettuce wraps were good too. My friends seafood fettuccine was excellent and my pasta was good as well. Will be returning hopefully with a bigger table next time.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for a while. The food was good but nothing to write home about. The service could use some serious help. We waited 45 minutes for just our appetizer. I had my 6 year old son with me and that 45 minutes was excruciating for him. He was hungry and needless to say, bored. Again the food was good but be prepared to wait a while. Can’t say I really see myself returning there again anytime soon.

I always intended to give this place more stars… and it gave me a reason why today. Pork Belly Lettuce Wraps. ohmygod. so good. I ordered them, the man looked at me like I was stupid because he wanted the meatballs. He should know better because I’m always right. Especially when it comes to food. He is only right when he talks about the Raider Nation(I mock yell when I say this with my fists in the air with an angry face) stats until I’m silver and black in the face but I digress… needless to say, he wanted to place another order. We just went there for happy hour to kill some time before my kid had to perform down the street. We also got the meatballs, potato chips and edamame. Gotta love the randomness of our order, you would’ve thought we got stoned before we got here. Everything was good and their service is great. Great service and that kid with the Italian accent was there again too, I just wanna pinch his cheek!

If you ended up eating at The Good Fork, do yourself a flavor — skip dessert. Everything was going fine until dessert. Appetizer calamari was fairly delicious. Pork loin and grilled chicken entrée were both flavorful and tender. Then it came dessert. After waiting a good half an hour, we were served a brownie that was supposed to be a chocolate soufflé and a crème brûlée that was watery but quite burnt on top. I don’t know how else to put it except it was the worst ‘soufflé’ I ever had. Worst than what I have conjured at home when I had zero baking experience. I hope it was just a single unfortunately incident because The Good Fork seems like such a lovely place.

I’ve been meaning to write a review on this restaurant but it slipped my mind until now. We were visiting a good friend in N. Cal and she took us to this restaurant for a late lunch one day. We really enjoyed our dining experience. The restaurant was pretty quiet(late lunch), so we were seated immediately. The service was very friendly. She described the specials and I actually ended up ordering their seafood pasta special. We tried a few appetizers. The pork belly lettuce wrap was really delicious. Really all the food was great. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere(though quiet), was lovely. I can see why this restaurant is popular.

Came here with a friend around 5:30. The waitress was friendly and outgoing. We got the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, which was good. The bread came out with oil and vinegar, and it was fine. It’s hard to mess up bread(not that it doesn’t happen…). I got the Caesar salad with salmon, and added avocado. I was glad I added it because the salad was nothing special, but pretty good. The salmon was pretty good, too. My friend got one of the specials… a steak of some kind with mushrooms, and said it was good. We had few drinks. The margarita was good! Other than my company, everything about the night was average, hence the three stars. I would give it another go, though.

This place is superb! Absolutely fantastic. This place was happy to accommodate a large group of 8 on a Sunday night when other restaurants in downtown MH were not. We happened to be in town because my husband and I just purchased a home near by and we wanted to celebrate with our family. Luckily, the good people at the Good Fork were quick to welcome us in. The drinks were amazing. My dad had the Stockholm and he raved about it for weeks. He’s still raving about it. The appetizers were on point, we had the calamari, it was crispy and delicious. For the main dish, I had the special which was a filet mignon with mashed potatoes. It was absolutely one of the most satisfying meals ever. The meat melted in my mouth like butter. It was delicious! Every one of us, even the most pickiest eaters, finished their dishes. I was pleasantly surprised. I’m sold! I cannot wait to come back and try something else!

The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and go above and beyond to provide an excellent experience. Ingredients are locally sourced and made fresh daily. If you have dietary restrictions they are always happy to accommodate. I have a friend with a dairy and gluten allergy. This is one of the few places on town that she can eat, because they always know exactly what is in each dish and can always offer her an excellent choice.

I used to work in South San Jose and Morgan Hill was a short drive away. My team and I used to come to The Good Fork to eat, and I was hooked ever since! I was happy to be in the neighborhood yesterday to take my bf here to eat. I used to get a shrimp dish, but I think they change their menu according to the season. The new menu looked different and had«Winter 2015» labeled on it. I had a minor panic attack when I couldn’t find my shrimp linguine that I crave in my sleep. I had to find something new… Luckily, the two choices we ordered were amazing! One was a pasta special, with portobello mushrooms and filet mignon tips in a cream sauce($ 19) and the other on the regular menu– Pork loin($ 24). We ordered both to share and finished it all. Really great! The meats were super tender and soft. This is one of those restaurants that I come to to try new things and always end up liking them. :)

Now that was a GOOD Fork. A friend invited me to go to The Good Fork with her and simply put, she’s jumped about 5 slots up in my friend ranking. You can order anything and be happy. But the burger really rubbed me the right way. Just be forewarned, once you’ve finished with The Good Fork, you’ll probably just want to go to bed. But if you enjoyed The Good Fork with a friend you should probably engage in a post fork cuddle.(I could have said post fork spoon, but that was just too easy)
