When I am visiting from out of town, Java Planet is my favorite place to get coffee. I tend to like coffee drinks rather than straight coffee, but both are excellent here. The mochas are phenomenal. They are just the right balance of coffee taste and mocha flavor — not overly sweet, but not at all bitter. The frozen drinks are also excellent. I have it on good authority from others that the straight coffee is also fantastic. Punchcards are available. This is strictly a drive-​through location, so it’s an excellent place to grab your hot coffee on a cold winter day or an iced drink on a humid summer one.
