This place is awesome. Food is great and the people are insanely nice. I’m about to become a regular when I’m back at school.

Middle of the road food. Nothing terrible, nothing fantastic. The folks behind the counter are definitely more engaging than most places, which is nice. Decent place to go if I’m jonesin’ for some bbq.

I ordered the XL family pack with brisket, pulled pork and polish dedicated. I also ordered a rack of ribs, and cheddar jalapeño sausages. All the meats were delicious, brisket was super moist and the meat was pretty much falling off the ribs. My favorite sides were the baked beans and green beans. Come slaw was tasty and the potato casserole was OK. I ordered online and had to request no onions on anything at almost the last minute. They totally accommodated that request… No problems. All the employees with whom o dreamt were very friendly. The goods made for a great picnic with my family. I look forward to enjoying their food when I’m back in town visiting my family.

Ordered the 3 meat plate with brisket, pulled pork, and the spicy cheddar sausage and sides of mac and cheese and barbecue beans. Service was excellent, the staff was very friendly and polite. It was a little confusing how to order, as apparently you order the meats from the first person and the sides from the second. I got mine to go but the dining area looked nice and clean. This is a fast casual place, so there is no wait staff, you get your own drinks, etc. Nothing wrong with that at all, and for BBQ I prefer it this way. The pork was quite good; I’ve had better, but I’ve also had far worse. The rub and smoke were spot on, but the meat itself seemed a little mushy. Oddly enough the same can be said for the brisket. It tasted good, but it seemed as if it was ‘pulled’ just like the pork was. Generally brisket would be served in slices or as cubes from the point, this seemed to be a pile of shredded beef. The sausage was good. The portion sizes seemed maybe a little small for the price, but everything seems that way these days. The sides were excellent and a proper size. There were three sauces, regular, sweet, and spicy. My guess is these are all from the same base sauce just with some additions for the sweet and spicy. The sauces weren’t overly thick like something out of a bottle, and this is how I prefer it, but the flavor was just OK. The common bottles sauces taste better. The meat didn’t need the sauce anyways, there was enough flavor from the rub and smoke. I would have liked to have seen a vinegar sauce for the pork as they do it in North Carolina, and I’m particular to an Alabama white sauce for brisket, but these are not available options. The meal came with a small roll that was quite good but, well, small. Overall it was a good meal and I will be back for more, although I will probably just order a pound of brisket and maybe a side or two ala carte. I can’t help but consider this a Chipotle but for BBQ; decent food for a decent price, not spectacular but I’m happy to eat it.

Decent bbq for a town with very little bbq options to offer. Got the brisket and it was a tad dry on its own, but once dipped in the sauce provided it was delicious. The baked beans were pretty tasty as well…

Nausea and vomiting 3 hours after meal of pulled pork, green beans and cole slaw. Now have shaking chills. Seems like food poisoning to me. Too bad because the food was really quite good.

I was skeptical when I saw the establishment because it was located in what seemed like a basement, but I heard decent things so I figured I would try it out. I definitely regret that decision now. This place is over priced for the quality of food you receive. I got the 2 meat platter with beef brisket and spicy cheddar sausage. It was honestly the worst brisket I’ve ever had. It was dry, overly fatty and the portion was lacking. The sausage was okay, but nothing over the top. There’s no variety of sauce, it’s a self serve, germ filled area consisting of «original, sweet & spicy». The employees could have been dressed better. The uniforms were sloppy and unappealing. Atmosphere was alright given we were the only people at the establishment. I didn’t mind my sides which were beans and«mash potatoe casserole» and by mash potatoe casserole I mean, mash potatoes with a small amount of shredded cheese and chives sprinkled on top. They make it seem like a perk that you receive a «souvenir cup» and a free ice cream cone, but come on now after an awful dinner they should provide some ice cream. If you’re looking for good BBQ in Morgantown. I would definitely recommend Martins BBQ joint, and the atomic grill.

Had the 3 meat plate with beef brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. The pulled pork was definitely the winner. Probably the best I’ve had in town. And I tried all three sauces with it, original, sweet, and spicy. The sweet was irresistible. I couldn’t help but keep smothering every bite with it. Wasn’t very impressed with the brisket or the ribs which is disappointing. I generally rate BBQ spots by how good their ribs are, but this place gets the rating based on how much I enjoyed their pulled pork. Also, If you don’t totally stuff your face with the meal you order, then you can help yourself to a free ice cream cone.
