Ok here’s the thing the first time I went here I went and me and my dads food were both not all that great for Italian because Italian is my favorite food so it’s hard for me not to like it. But the 2^nd time I got fettuccini Alfredo and it was really good so they have there good days and there bad. Most time time when I come here it’s good and they cook it pretty fast. I’ve been here a few times when it’s pretty gross. Good luck hopefully you get a good day!

Two dozen friends and family from 4 states gathered here for lunch yesterday. We filled the back room. I chose the Eggplant Parmesan lunch special. Few places can prepare it well, but this one was exceptional. It’s been 26 years since I have had eggplant parm this good in a restaurant; ironically it was also in a small place near Beckley, WV. Some folks just do it right!
Our server was under a lot of pressure to serve up drinks and meals for so many people but he handled it well and everything seemed fine to me. HOpe we all tipped as well.
My wife and I shared two desserts: pumpkin crème brulee and Dreamsickle cake. I ordered the cake after speaking with a gentleman at the counter waiting for his takeout. We both recalled eating creamsickle ice cream bars when we were kids 60 years ago. The cake was delicious and the crème brulee awesome. I wanted to lick the bowl.
Provoloni’s Italian Grill is only a year old and this was our first visit. I’m sure we will all be back. Superb meal, friendly staff and plenty of options to choose from.

I’ve had lunch here a half dozen times. Every time the service and food were excellent the portions were just right I can’t find any complaints about this place

Food is terrific and the service is always extremely friendly. There are a few dishes that are tops and several others that I cant wait to try. The atmosphere is not romantic, but it is very clean and comfortable.

Our first visit was on Wednesday. It was my Sister & Brother-​in-​Laws Anniversary. They wanted to go there. After reading all the reviews I was alittle bit afraid of what we may encounter. Needless to say it was a wonderful experience. Our Waiter was GREAT! The food was DELICIOUS & well presented. Who I believe was the owner even came out & asked how our meals were. I would definitely go back and I know my Sister & her Husband plan on going back too.

I was there in November of 14 and gave it a 1 star. It was horrid then and as if I thought it might have got better I was wrong. I was there tonight 7÷24÷15. I have a small child so timing is important when it comes to the meal delivery. Needless to say an hour and a half is not timely. We were seated quickly (Friday night in Morgantown and plenty of seats should have been my warning). The waiter took about ten minutes to take our drink order and we were smart enough to place the food order when he took the drink order. Drinks and salads were out in 10 minutes and no problems. The waiter even brought a refill on my ice tea without me asking. He convinced me to order the seafood platter because it was the special. I asked to substitute grilled veggie for the potatoes. He acted like it was a big deal and I offered to just pay for the veggies. My wife just ordered rigatoni. An hour and 10 minutes later our food arrives and the waiter apologizes for no veggies on the order. He proceeds to tell me how screwed up the kitchen is because a bunch of people quit. His 7 top sitting outside only received 5 of the 7 orders. So I kinda felt lucky to only be short a side order of grilled veggies. He came back 10 minutes later to see if «everything is alright». I asked again about the veggies. He apologized again. The seafood platter (I use the term loosely) consisted of 4 oz of a white fish, 3 shrimp and 2 scallops. The potatoes and Cole slaw were uneatable. The fish was tasty but very small portions. The rigatoni was average (canned sauce).
How this restaurant is still in business amazes me. I will never go back.

We eat here fairly often. The pasta dishes are very good but we are not too crazy about the salads served with the meals. However, this will not prevent us from returning. It is conveniently located near our home. I wish they had padded chairs. When we older folks sit a while, hard chairs are not comfortable.

I really enjoyed my Eggplant Parmesan. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Sauce was very flavorful and not heavy. The bread was to die for, and the butter was fresh. We had bruschetta, which was okay. My spouse had the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. Could have done without the tails, but otherwise was good.
We came in the early afternoon, so didn’t have to wait. Very responsive waitress, kept our glasses filled and was friendly.
I would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t want the Olive Garden massed produced food, but something a little more authentic.

The food is good (5 star) but the wait staff rushes the customer (1 star). Service is fast, if one is after that, but I was not. I ate there twice while traveling in the area for business. Both times I was asked if I would like my food boxed up within 20 minutes of receiving my meal. I was eting outside in early afternoon. There was plenty of available seating space. Most recently the server brought me my check while I was still eating without being asked to, and without asking if I would like anything else. I would consider takeout because the food is good, but would not eat there when I want a relaxing meal.

Went there for lunch today and had the Eggplant Parmesan with Pasta lunch special for $ 7.95 plus a large house salad. The salad was fresh, delicious with good variety, and attractively served. The Eggplant Parmesan was at least among the best, and possibly the best I’ve had anywhere, and it was beautifully, artistically served. Lunch portions are smaller than dinner portions, but it was a decent quantity and so delicious I felt completedly satisfied. Even the bread was delicious — fresh baked with a nice crisp crust, served with a plentiful amount of whipped butter to spread. The service was friendly, attentive, generous with refills, and excellent overall.

This place seems like it’s a nice addition to the area. The food is okay, the service was timely, and the price was maybe just a little too expensive for the food we got. My husband got the open-​face meatball sandwich and a cup of pasta e fagioli lunch special. The soup is most definitely not homemade and if it is, shame on the chef. It was more or less tomato soup with added cream and pasta. The meatballs, however, were very good. They came with a lot of ricotta on top that he had to scoop off, though. It was way too much for a garnish. I merely got a salad because of my food allergies (it’s usually risky at a place like this for me to order anything). The salad was a nice mixed greens with fresh veggies on top. It was a little pricey considering it had no protein or anything. I’d be willing to give this place a shot for dinner, but it really wasn’t anything spectacular. Oh, and they were playing 70s pop music and it was awkward.

Came with son for lunch. Great service. Had the lunch special Sicilian flat bread and son had Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Both were good. Nice atmosphere kinda upscale in price too. Happy Hour m-​f 3−6pm $ 2 domestic beer. Served very good crusty bread with butter. Wish it had a evoo dipping plate… I’d finish the whole basket! Will be back with wife.

I have been twice in the past week. Both times I was seated right away and had very attentive waiters. I believe they are hitting their stride. Both times we were also checked on by a Manager/​Owner.
Everything we had was wonderful and fresh and I look forward to trying more. I’m a huge fan of their «Build your own» charcuterie options and partook on both visits. Everything was very reasonably priced and well portioned. I look forward to going back to try more.

This place obviously knows the current reputation it has. As a new business so far it hasn’t been getting good reviews. Nevertheless, the staff and management seem to be aware of this because on entering my family and I were entering we were greeted not by host but by someone in a managerial role. He made sure we were seated appropriately and ensured are waiter was out abruptly to attend to us. The previous reviews I read mainly focused on the lack of attention and service the staff payed to customers, and this was definitely not the case during my visit. At least 4 maybe 5 time we had someone (not the waiter) come by to check and make sure everything was up to par, letting us know that if there was anything we needed they would by happy to accommodate us. True the non-​managerial staff seemed young and less experienced (particularly the host), but I could tell they were working hard to improve this.
The food was average overall. Not on the level of some of the home cooked Italian meals I’ve been privileged to experience, but not bad. Overall it gets 3 stars from me because the service was and attention we had were excellent though the food quality still needs some work.

Call me a glutton for punishment (or Italian food!) but I tried this place 3 times. Service was horrible. Food was ok nothing special. First time I went it was right after they opened. Waited forever for a hostess to come and seat us in a nearly empty restuarant. When I was finally eating my dinner I watched 2 separate groups leave because nobody seated them. Crazy! Service was poor but you could tell the waitress was new. She was pleasant though. Second time I went, I figured, ‘ok they must have the staff problem worked out by now. WRONG. Still had to wait to be seated in an uncrowded place. Our waiter was terrible, dinner took nearly 2 hrs. He actually brought 2 wrong dinners to us. When we finally got our food we basically never saw him again. The owner was nice and very apologetic, so I figured I give ‘em another shot… no way I’m stepping in there again though, so I ordered take out. My daughter warned me but I did it anyway. I ordered 3 dinners, when I went to pick them up of course they only had 2. They told me someone made a mistake and they actually didn’t have a certain ravioli that I ordered on the menu. Instead of calling me back to let me know, they just decided to give me 2 dinners and I guess let the third person I ordered for, watch the 2 of us eat our dinner!?! Ok I’m slow. It took me 3x but I’m done!

Extremely unorganized hosting staff. Very unfriendly with lack of enthusiasm. After 15 min of being looked and not waited on we decided to leave.
