Lynn did my gel manicure yesterday and was very attentive and professional. This was the best manicure I have had. Highly recommend the salon and Lynn! I will definitely return!

Ah. So that’s it. Request a basic manicure and receive the most inexperienced person on staff. I asked for rounded nails– after cutting and 2 seconds on filing person said that OK? It was SQUARE nail! Seriously! I left. Listen– I test out a nail place with basic. If I get bad service, you get bad review and no money. Wise up. There is lots of competitors who are good.

Pro: Good service– skilled & efficient Con: Price & friendliness of staff I went in to get a mani/pedi here at 6pm on a Tuesday night. The salon was busy, but they had at least 8 people working so I was seated in a pedicure chair and tended to immediately. I did the basic pedicure for $ 25 and it was as good as any of the 8 – 10 other salons I’ve been to. The massage was lengthy & wonderful. I also got a shellac manicure. Each coat was applied evenly & she covered to the edges of my nails(sometimes with a shellac, they leave a little but blank in the edges of the nail… I suppose to protect your skin). She was quick and skilled. My only issue was the cost of the manicure. They did not have shellac prices listed, but a regular manicure was $ 15. My shellac manicure was $ 35. I have never had a salon charge $ 20 extra for a shellac and do not think it was worth that at all. When I asked about the additional cost they assured me that was the correct amount. Even in Nashville & Dallas, a shellac isn’t typically more than $ 30 so $ 35 in Morgantown, WV seemed pretty steep to me.

So. If you don’t spend a lot of money and just come in for a basic file and polish, DONTEXPECTTOGETYOURCUTICLESCUT, it’s 10 dollars, but you get shitty service and the people are annoyed with you the whole time. Never coming back! Ever. My nails look awful.

I came in an hour before they close and was turned away when there was no one waiting. The lady was RUDE about it too. Don’t go here. I wasn’t impressed with the customer service before, but now I’m CLEARLY turned off from this place. Go to Top Nails Morgantown, WV instead.

Overpriced for the quality of the work. I got shellac on my nails and a deluxe pedicure. While the massage and spa treatment(scrub, mud wrap, etc) was great, the polish job was atrocious. I was in a hurry, or else I would have had it redone. It was unevenly painted and you could see my nails near the bed. The shellac machine was outdated and the UV light hurt my hands. The pedicure chairs were comfortable in the seat, but very uncomfortable where the feet were placed. The yweren’t slanted to accommodate your feet, and instead were flat like a table. My ankles hurt by the end of the service. One week later, my toes and nails are both chipped. This is not supposed to happen with shellac! It was more expensive than my nail place at home and definitely not worth it. Avoid this place! You’re better off doing your own nails.
