Room 127 is RIGHTNEXTTOEXITDOOR%#! All night, people coming in banging door and talking loudly; all morning, people leaving and talking loudly. Plumbing above us very loud also for showers. VERY small(tiniest I’ve ever seen) but well equipped room. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, safe, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, flat screen TV with lots of channels and HBO, USB plugs by bed. Comfortable bed. Very good breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and waffles, 3 kinds of fruit, yogurts, sweet rolls and muffins and the regular stuff.

Greeted by Heidi, and was very impressed. I have 150 stays at choice hotels in the last year and this was very nice. Was treated great as a platinum guest and the hotel room was immaculate. Very polite, very clean, very comfortable and easy. Basically all you can ask for with a comfort inn and more

Nice clerk at desk. marvelous king size comfy bed. older motel. breakfast crammed in small space and not laid out for convenient access to items. WORSTPART – horrid coffee! Went down the street to a Pilot station to get decent(drinkable at least) coffee. Won’t stay here again. boo

We don’t usually hold high expectations of Clarion Hotels(Comfort Inn, Sleep Inn, etc), but this one exceeded all expectations. Here are the highs and very few lows: Highs: — awesome highly efficient and helpful front desk person(Michele) I believe. It was 11:30pm and I was road weary. She made it easy and she went out of her way to be helpful. — rooms(2) were clean and well made(bathrooms were spotless) — mints on the pillows! Just fun. –Pillows were two densities(one soft/one more firm) — breakfast was your typical carb heavy assortment BUT they had two(yes two) flavors of waffles! And every thing was clean and well cared for. — dining area had neat facts and prints and pictures on the wall. Lows: –A bit of a stale smoky smell in the halls(but not in the rooms). — Beds may be a bit soft for some but not horrible. We would skip Albuquerque to stay hear again.

My wife and I stood here because of the 4⁄5 star reviews, but quickly found the rating to be misleading. Here are some pros & cons: Pros: A/C in room worked good. Friendly staff. Reasonable rates(about $ 85 for a King size bed in July 2014) Cons: Kind of a funky smell in the room(almost fertilizer-like!) Rooms are tiny! Outdated décor. Restroom needs updating badly! Bed was too soft. Wi-Fi didn’t work — very weak signal and wouldn’t log on for more than a few seconds. Gave up after about 5 attempts. Walls are very thin — can hear the guy fart in the room next to us! Mostly likely would NOT stay here again if I can help it. Will try someplace else PRONTO!

I’ll try to make a long story short. My husband, my dad and I were driving to Phoenix, AZ all the way from Ohio. My husband and I were in the process of moving to Phoenix. Well, my husbands truck dropped its transmission when we were just outside Moriarty. So we were stranded. A mechanic named Larry was fabulous and worked on our truck. We were also staying at this Comfort Inn and it was AMAZING! The staff was WONDERFUL towards us. They allowed us to stay in the hotel lobby while we waited to find out if our truck was done or not. They knew our plight and were very kind to us. I loved their décor and everything about this place was wonderful. We were very lucky to have stopped off in such a wonderful community. We will definitely try to get back over there one of these days.

This is place is just a standard hotel off the side of a highway, except that the staff distinguish themselves by being exceptionally friendly. The room was clean. Although it was small, it was not cramped. Breakfast was good. One of the staff took the breakfast very seriously. She made sure everyone had everything that they needed with genuine cheerfulness and took our orders for waffles. She also was dressed up for Saint Patrick’s day with some sort of green headband, which added to the fun. It’s nice to stay at a place where the employees seem to be happy about working there.

Ew. Small rooms, very dirty, I tool some photos. I guess you can’t expect much in a town like this but for $ 80 I do expect a clean room. Wish I booked elsewhere, this place is a DUMP. Just look at the photos I posted.

I wasn’t happy about having to stop at a motel off the interstate, but with the weather this past week I had no choice. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality at the Comfort Inn in Moriarty. Juliet, who seems to run the place, was incredibly friendly and helpful with making recommendations in the area. The room was clean, fully stocked, and warm. One star off due to the fact that the walls are very thin, but that’s the case at most motels. Breakfast was above and beyond for this type of hotel. They had two types of waffles — regular and pumpkin spice. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hard boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, coffee and juice were also served. There are about six tables set up outside the kitchen area, too. Nice job, Juliet — you make this a great place to stay!

Good, clean motel, with very nice staff. The rooms are new and pleasant, and I like the showers.
