This place is awesome! We had to stop and stay the night because of fog. We were so impressed by the price, friendliness of owner, cleanliness, wifi… Everything. You should definitely stay here.

Simple cinder block rooms with mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Nothing fancy, but clean and well maintained. I would say rooms are just a tad overpriced, but service was good and I’m always willing to pay a couple extra bucks to support local businesses over chains. Would stay again.

Conveniently located off freeway, we felt safe. The rooms were huge and so clean with great amenities for the price! It has a vintage mid century feel. I appreciated the furniture too. The woman at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Also, there was coffee, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, and more available in the morning. Highly recommended! Fun fact: it’s the last original motel on historic Route 66 in all of New Mexico!

I decided to stay the night here based on Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed! The room is quaint and clean, at a reasonable price. The owner was very nice and the hotel’s story is neat(see their website). I recommend staying here:)

Very cool classic motel from the ‘60s run by a local family, that I stopped by on a chance, because it looked well-taken care of. Room was cozy and comfortable, classic, and quiet. More of a B&B homey feeling. Nice coffee in the morning, but I went down the road to Lisa’s truck stop for a hearty breakfast(recommended by motel owner as best place around– and it was!). The owners are well-traveled and accomplished people happy to chat over morning coffee, a pleasant surprise, and confirmed my decision to stay in as many small retro places as possible. Only glitch was a weak a/c, but though over 100 during the day, it cooled down into the 60s at night– just opened the windows and was fine. After doing 600 miles on x-country trip that day, it was a very welcome place, and a fine model for anyone contemplating reviving a classic family-run motel.

Stayed one night and enjoyed the patio while sipping my complimentary coffee on the pretty patio. The bed was comfy, the water hot and the place was clean. The people were very helpful and friendly as well.

We decided to take a chance and try this out. It was like going back in time but with modern conveniences. Great experience! Very clean! Great pillows and linens. Pet friendly. Owners were very nice and helpful. Air conditioner worked well. Parking lot was well lighted at night. I felt very safe. I was most impressed with the cleanliness. We travel a lot and the chain hotels have been very disappointing for one reason or the other. We were impressed with this place. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place! Older, yes, but you could also call it a classic. Reminded me of motel stays as a kid. Good linens. Bed okay. Great amenities, and very helpful staff.

I was skeptical at first but once the comfort inn referred me over to them because their system was down. I was extremely impressed! I have never written a review before but I will just because of how welcoming the woman Debbie was. She is the owner here. It’s not a Marriott but I felt safe and comfortable. Nice room and nice beds! Oh yeah and FREE wifi. Another one! They welcome pets!

What a great throwback to the days of Rt. 66 and travel by car to the far reaches of the country. We stopped for a stay to just remember the good old days, what a surprise, other than dated the place is great. The rooms are clean, new comfy beds, new efficient air conditioner and a memory jogger if I ever seen one. The owner was the nicest guy who explained some of the history of the place as well as surrounding buildings and town. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed in the same room three weeks later on our return trip home. Way to go guys, best of luck and thank you.
