Too many mistakes when making and packing called in orders. Not the only one it’s happened to. Otherwise food is so so for Greek cuisine.

This pains me to write this, as this was our top choice go-to-take out place for the past five years. I wrote my original review back in 2010, where I had nothing but rave reviews and would tell everyone I knew to go eat there. But in the last year or so it has taken a turn for the worst. It not consistent anymore, sometimes the chicken is cooked well, sometimes no… Where as before it was always spot on. Every time. I kept giving them a pass thinking it was a fluke, but our last 3 visits have been very disappointing. Here are some issues on tonight’s dinner. 1. The chicken dry or over cooked. 2. The lemon potatoes didn’t have enough lemon flavor and were undercooked. This was our favorite side dish. It was always so delicious and perfect. But not the last 2 visits. 3. My pita sandwich had WAY too much cheese. This may not be an issue for some, but to me it just showed more inconsistency and just not doing it right and a lack of care or passion. 4. Pita was also soggy. Now this may just because it’s a salad pita, but since it’s take out, there is no way you can eat it right away, so just don’t order it, unless it’s summer and you can sit outside and eat immediately. 5. The zucchini patties were most likely frozen, and were undercooked and the flavor was just awful. I can’t imagine anyone liking this item. IMO they should take it off the menu, or at least make them fresh. This place has always been pricey, but we hVe never minded because my family of four used to love this place. But sadly, tonight was our last visit. I don’t want to sound harsh, but I am hoping that they read this and make the necessary adjustments. I would hate for this local eatery to do poorly. I only wish them well. But I can’t spend all this money on a dinner that is subpar.

Overly raw garlicky flavor in sauce and meat. No dill in tsaziki sauce, which it’s supposed to have. It would be nice if the meat was 100% lamb. I’d give a 2.5, but the yummy chocolate shakes help it out. Very friendly service.

No, they’re not an AUTHENTIC Greek place but the food here is still good! I had a lamb gyro and I found it to be well-made and delicious.

I’ve been going here for over a year now. The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Its a little pricey but well worth it! The Philly Cheesesteak gyro is highly recommended

Call your order in first. I have only had the gyro and spinach pie. The gyro was really tasty. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The meat is standard for a road stand. The spinach pie was ok. I do prefer all lamb gyro that is not processed meat. For the price and freshness it is above average for the area.

I’ve been a frequent and loyal customer since the day they opened! I love the staff and most importantly, the food! The owners treat me like family and the cooks always greet me by my first name. Always a huge fan. I come here about 3 – 4 times a month! Love you Greek Bites! Just word to the wise… call in your order beforehand if you’re taking it to go!

Really cool«food stand» with great classic Greek fare and some new spins — both the chicken parm and chicken caesar pitas are great! Save room for dessert too… Friendly staff always makes it a great experience!

Food’s not bad, but… I wanted to get a delivery gift card for a family member who had a sports injury and is homebound for a couple of months. I explained this to them… Here’s the exchange: Them: «Our delivery minimum is $ 25, I can’t change that.» Me: «I wanted to get them a gift card. Can you do that?» Them: «Yeah, we have gift cards.» Me: «Great, can I buy one?» Them: «You have to come in for that.» Me: «I live in California. Can I give you my credit card number?» Them: «No.» [pause] Them: «No, I can’t do this.» So New York. So not small town nice.

The only reason im giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the prices. Deffiently on the expensive side. Great food though. And the girls taking your order and kinda useless.

Greek Bites, great bites! Great food, full of flavor. Excellent Gyros, good Moussaka, just a good place, with good service. If I could handle eating gyros more often I’d make this a regular spot for sure. They have soup specials, and an all around good menu. What you need to try, is their iced tea! You read that right, iced tea; they use a jasmine tea and flavor it with green apple or mango– both are out of this world good as far as iced tea goes.

The food is pretty good, but it’s also pretty pricey for a roadside stand. Makes no difference if you call the order in before you come — the kids behind the counter don’t have enough attention span to take the call and start your order — guaranteed they will start your order only when you walk in and ask if it’s ready for pick up, and then you’ll wait & wait & wait. Like I said — the food’s pretty good though.

I go here a lot and its my gyro go to spot. the food is so delicious! but I must say, the food is really over priced and they barely fill their pitas. i come from a day when gyros used to have to be cut in half to have a meal and when you ate a whole one you were pretty much full the rest of the day or night. if they could just do the consumer a favor and give them their moneys worth theyd be on top of the gyro world. but i guess its called greek bites for a reason.: /

I don’t normally write a review this early, normally I try a place five or six times i’ve only been here twice but it was so good I have to write a review, today just like yesterday I had the Greek salad no onions with grilled chicken on top my usual. anybody who knows me knows I’m picky about my Greek food It has to meet certain standards and not only does it meet them it’s surpass them this evening, You must try Greek bites very friendly service and delicious food, good prices also

Had the 3 dip combo for $ 12, we choose skordila(?) Hummus and spicy feta spread they were all delicious but for a $ 12 appetizer you get 2 pitas not enough pita for the amount of dips or for 3 people :(we had the gyros with everything on them they also were very good .The french fries unfortunately were soggy and limp. They deliver locally which is great. I would be back to to try other items on the extensive menu

The food is excellent. But every time I get take out, I get home and there’s something missing. When I call they swear I wasn’t charged for it. Which I don’t believe anymore since it happens every single time!

Yep, it’s a hole in the wall. But it was the best Greek meal I have ever had in my life. I don’t even know where to begin. I got a halloumi cheese sandwich. I tried to be austere and eat only half. I ate it all, plus had a side of falaffel, onion rings, and some extra bites of both of my kids’ meals. Everything was delicious here. And the baklava… I could die. Delicious and so delicious. I can’t stand it. (Note: there is no indoor seating; only limited outdoor seating. Despite this, they still get my 5 stars. It was so good I’d eat it on the floor of the parking lot if I had to.)
