Love this place Great atmosphere kind of small! We had a taco salad that was awesome! And a chicken sandwich which was really good to the prices are amazing! The drinks are very reasonably priced! Parking is a little bad but it’s worth it trying to find a spot! Will definitely be back!

The atmosphere was very nice here, our server, Lauren was very nice and attentive. The food unfortunately was «meh». We had the shrimp jambalaya and it was waaaaayyyy too salty. We would’ve sent the food back but we were in a hurry.
Sorry folks, won’t be back.

The place has a country theme to it and country style food. The food is actually really good for a bar and has pretty good bloody Mary’s. The parking lot isn’t that big so if it’s full u have to park next door at the hardware store.

OMG it is Thursday and its pot roast dinner time! Unbelievable! I don’t eat much red meat, pot roast only when I am in Amish Country. But this is like what your mother use to make, maybe better! Tender, don’t need a knife. Juicy, no fat, all flavorable. It comes with mashed potatoes and gravy, YUM! Melts in your mouth. Grilled veggies. Good, could be steamed more so it will melt in your mouth also. Under $ 10! I will be back on Thursday and this will be my only pick off the menu from now on!

The food is great but good luck getting a table. The service is hit or miss. The busier they are the less the servers seem to care. They have a lot of high top tables with uncomfortable stools and as a personal preference, shorter tables or more comfortable stools would be better. I suggest ordering the food to go and skipping the «atmosphere.»

Great food, good service and best of all they have my favorite beer Tecate. Parking is limited sometimes because it’s always so busy but this is definitely one of the best places to eat and drink in the area.
I would give it 5 stars but the service is not always the best. Many of the servers seem more interested in looking at themselves in the mirrors, eating, or talking. They have a few good bartenders but for some reason they spend a lot of time at the computer screen or in the back rooms.

We go to the Greenhorn often because the food, drinks, and especially the staff are the best in the area. We’ve never had a bad meal at Greenhorn.

I haven’t tried much of the menu because I’m still stuck on the awesome brisket sandwich (complemented with horseradish instead of being smothered in BBQ sauce).
The environment is very nice, good staff, and a nice drink menu. It’s a decent place for watching sports at the bar, although they are close Mondays, so Monday Night Football is out. But hey, no place is perfect right?

Bloody Mary’s are SO GOOD! This place is a hidden gem. They have great ranch too, every restaurant needs good ranch. Western décor. Cozy spot. TRY ONE OF THE BURGERS!

Food — mediocre, overly salty on several items & cold temperatures when brought to table

Opinion on specific items — $ 50 check, Sat night, 2 adults, 3 tiny kids:
*Beef Brisket dinner — decent; will order again
*Crsipy Fried portabella sandwich — greasy & salty, not hot, won’t order again
*Crispy Fried fish sandwich — average; would order again
Extra sides:
*Sweet potato fries — dry/​overcooked yet cold, too thin & small (truly looked like end of batch leftovers); too small of portion for side dish
*Waffle fries — dry/​overcooked yet cold, bland
*Western Mac n cheese — way too spicy for kids (and for ½ adults who also tasted), too small portion for side dish cost; one of the few things served nice & hot
*chicken & dumpling soup — decent (but out of crackers, weirdly)
*grilled veggies (zucchini, squash, carrots, onions) — tasty but too salty & not too hot
Drinks:
*Coors light bottles, $ 2 ea, quite surprised how reasonable
*Soda — $ 2.25 w/​refills
Would go back for:
outside seating area;
salads, which looked good;
a lunch time wrap sandwich

If we find ourselves in Morris IL again I’d definitely stop in. Unilocal*had good rating so we gave it a try. We sat outside on a nice evening. The outdoor dining is a bit of an afterthought. It’s just a few picnic tables on a patio off the parking lot. We took outside because the dining room was packed and like I said, it was a nice night.
Take outdoor seating if you like, but prepare to nearly never see your waiter. Tiny complaint. Parking is a bit sketchy too.
The food was fantastic. Worth the wait and the weird service. I posted pic of my sandwich. It was big, maybe too big, but it was cooked with care. I liked the place. Next time I’m sitting inside.

I had eaten here before, but today was my family’s first time. They LOVED it! My wife says it’s her new favorite restaurant! Service was great, food was hot and delicious, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon! I would recommend this place to anyone!

I digress. During the week, spot on! Service, timely food delivery, ect… During the weekend the wheels straight fall off this joint. It doesn’t help that they keep the 3 tables on the far end for employee use and rolling silverware. And the bartenders seem so busy (not that bad compared to anywhere else in the country) on the weekends that service is like trying to offer a free footlong to an elementary school when your name in Jared. Scares.
I love the spicy buffalo shrimp. As well as the Brisket, and maybe Brittany too. Ok, I really love Brittany. Cute waitresses and fun staff make this place cool. What’s not cool is the older every week crowd, sort of like herpes. You wish they would go away, but alas.
Anyway, this place is worth a visit! Pray for Brittany

We have always had good food! Something for everyone. Service on Sunday was a little slow…

Stopped for dinner on the way back from Starved Rock State Park. Delicious, freshly made mozzarella sticks, brisket burger, and macaroni and cheese. Service was on point.

Passing through Morris and didn’t know where to eat. Read prior Unilocal reviews and decided to give it a try. Not disappointed at all! Bison Chili, Brisket Sandwich, Rib Tips. …delicious. A fellow patron heard us talking about this being our first time here… suggested Mac & Cheese. We are getting some to go. Sure wish we lived closer. .this would be our go-​to place!

Great Saloon, great servers, great little place, great people, great food. What else can i say about this place.
Me and my wife were told that our wait time would be 30 minutes which was nothing as their were too many people but then seated in under 5 i think it was because of our 10 month old baby.
Terrific food they have the best fish ever.
Will definitely go their next time

This is my 4^th night in a row here. They have the most extensive beer list in town and the food is reliably consistent. Emphasis on beef but they do have other things. Almost ordered the seafood jambalaya last night but opted for the brisket instead. Their garlic mashed potatoes are awesome in and totally not good for your waistline! Steaks are done properly and they know the difference between rare and medium rare.
The only faults I can give them is weak salads and the service can be a tad slow when they’re slammed. Emphasis on ‘tad’ — we weren’t ignored or blown off by any means.

Atmosphere is casual with a saloon décor. During peak dinner hours, there is a friendly hostess to seat you. There is a bar with seating. Seating also available in and outside. There are some slot machines, 4 TVs inside, and 1 TV outside. Server was nice and attentive. Homemade soup on this visit was corn chowder which was very good. We had wings for appetizer with a mango habanero sauce. I had the special which was BBQ ribs. It came with a veggie, baked or mash potatoes, and a cup of soup. The prices are very reasonable. Good variety of choices on the menu. We will definitely go back soon.
