Earlier this afternoon, I was involved in a minor, but unsettling, car accident with a large truck in the parking lot of Ozzy’s establishment. The owner was not only unhelpful, but unnecessarily rude. While attempting to asses the damage and converse with the other driver, he was relentlessly pestering me — to the point of interference. Unbridled in his use of profanity, this man quickly resorted to attacking me personally(even though I was not at fault for the accident). My one an only encounter with Ozzy’s was poor. I am disgusted by this establishments inability to show compassion, flexibility, or even human decency when faced with a slight inconvenience. To say the least, I will not be visiting Ozzy’s any time soon and I hope they choose to practice better business in the future.

Extremely Rude. Thought this was a nice place to stage last minute wedding photos due rain. Manager asked us to vacate the property, move our cars from the place of business and insisted we move into the rain. Very kind. Tried to be courteous and patronized the business, but he seemed more concerned about his delivery, which never did arrive in the time spent taking pictures across the street in the rain. The espresso was decent but perhaps a little more attention should be directed towards basic social skills.

NEVERCOMEHERE! RUDE, WEIRDANDKIDHATINGOWNER!!! ZEROSTARS!!! I came to Morrison w/my friend and our 2 dogs after a hike. We planned to get wings at the shop next door and cap off a beautiful day with some ice cream. This place was well located so we thought, ok, great. Long story short, the owner followed us around the building as we walked up and informed us with a look of disgust that he was about to have 18 kids show up to get ice cream and that we’d better buy ours now-A TOTALLIE. He acted like kids were the plague of the planet!!! Dude, you own an ice cream shop! You should probably enjoy children since they and their parents are your main clientele. I figured by his rude demeanor that it was probably a ruse to get us to buy ice cream, and I could understand him not wanting us to take a table of we weren’t paying customers. I obliged and made our purchases. He watched us eat the entire time – CREEPY– and when we finished our wings, we moved to a table in the sun to enjoy our ice cream. I went into the store to throw out the small bag with 2 salad sized styrofoam containers in it since here are no trash cans outside. Moments after I sat back down to start eating my now melted ice cream, the owner came out WITHMYBAGOFTRASHTHATHEHADDUGOUTOFHISTRASHCAN, HANDEDITTOMEANDTOLDME I NEEDEDTOTHROWITOUTINTHEDUMPSTERBEHINDTHEBUILDINGNEXTDOOR. I was shocked speechless. My friend was shocked speechless. We will NEVERGOTHEREAGAIN, ANDWILLTELLEVERYONEWEKNOWTOAVOIDITLIKETHEPLAGUE.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Owner was rude and obviously not customer friendly. Went here after a hike and the owner followed us around the whole time. After being pushed to make our order I put the trash in the trash can but the owner took it out and brought it back to us and told us to put it in the dumpster behind the building.(FORGETTHAT). He also watched us eating the whole time. Reminded me of Bates Motel! Not kid friendly and I highly suggest going somewhere else!!!

Owner is extremely rude. Visiting Morrison on a Friday with a picnic lunch, with the intent of purchasing ice cream at Ozzi’s as soon as we were finished. Owner came out and stated«this isn’t a rest stop.» I explained that we would be purchasing ice cream when we were finished. Mind you not a single person was in the store, nor a single car in the parking lot. So we politely got up, informed him we would not be making any purchases and went across and had lunch on a nice rock along the Bear Creek. If I could give zero stars, I would!

My family and I enjoy going up to Morrison as often as possible. We brought our lunch to the patio and the jack ass owner came outside and harassed us saying we needed to purchase something or we had to leave. So I gladly went inside and bought a water, so I was then a paying customer. I went back outside to finish my lunch with my family and the owner AGAIN asked if I was going to buy something. I told him I bought the water and he caused a seen and said we were stupid. So I went back in and gave him back the water, told him he never even gave us a chance to purchase anything else because of how rude he was. I have NEVER been so disrespected as a customer in my life. From other reviews I’ve read this isn’t the first horrible incident that has happened there. The town of Morrison is wonderful, The only downfall is this owner.

Owner im assuming is quite the asshole. I was waiting in my car while my boyfriend was inside to pick up an order. He called the cops and a tow truck due to our car being on private property. I literally waited 6 minutes then we left. I’m never spending my money there again. You can kindly ask to relocate your vehicle instead of running out cussing and threatening.

Cute, small, clean, and down-homey feel café. Nice umbrella seating and picnic tables outside, decent selection of ice cream and coffee drinks, and cider in a refrigerated case. Also local condiments for sale. Service from the 2 men working there was very fast and friendly, even despite the chaos of a big family who came in and placed a bunch of complex orders. I’d come back next time I’m passing thru!

Ozzi’s: A small beacon of cool creamery that calls your name(and/or your child’s name) as you wipe the sweat from your Red Rocks induced work-out. This place ties up the experience of Morrison quite nicely. It is the last business you see as you exit the main strip. Mine and Munchkin’s first experience with Ozzi’s was early spring a year ago. We pulled into the parking lot only to find that they were still closed. The seeming owner and his daughter were just walking out to their car. He called to us and motioned for us to enter as he drew his keys from his pocket to unlock the door he had just locked. He explained they were just getting the shop ready for spring, and lucky for us, he had ice cream that wanted to be scooped. What am I trying to say? The service here is fabulous and that has been proven during their actual open hours when we have returned for a pick-me-up, and again just the other day when I waited in line behind a family of seven, to order iced coffee. Each ice cream he handed over the small counter was handed over with a genuine smile. Also — they have homemade goodies! Colorado ciders, jams, salsas, and something called Peachy Peach Hot Sauce which looks and sounds amazing(and may just have to jump from its cute little shelf into my sweaty little hands the next time I am compelled to stop). Thank you, Ozzi’s, for being so literally cool.

When you walk down the hill from Morrison Incline, right in front of you is a little Ice Cream place. It was an especially hot day, and out of the blue I heard, «Ice Cream?» I didn’t need any convincing, so we made a quick stop for some ice cream. This is a wacky little place. It’s in Morrison, after all. It definitely sells ice cream and barbecue sauce, and I’m sure there are some other random things you buy there. The ice cream they serve is mostly Dreyer’s, and they probably have at least a dozen different flavors of ice cream and sorbet. The ice cream is not homemade or anything, but it’s fine on a hot day and they have a great outdoor seating situation. The main reason for the 2 stars was the service. When we first walked in we stood there for a decent amount of time and there was no employee to be found. Then the guy who finally came in was pretty gruff. Anyway, we got ice cream albeit a little slowly without any sort of major problems. But while we were sitting outside, another customer walks out and randomly shouts something along the lines of «Was I talking on the phone and ignoring you while I was trying to buy your ice cream?» It was amusing and confusing and we were trying to figure out if he was yelling at us or complaining about the guy who works there. After about 5 seconds of thinking WTF? I turned to my friend and said, «Are we the only 2 people here who haven’t gone completely insane?» And then we finished our ice cream. What a nice day that was…
