I’ve been going to the Trade Center for as long as I remember. They’ve got a little bit of everything, from jewelry, to weapons, to coins, and instruments of all sorts. They also offer lessons with a variety of instruments, and have a music studio right next door. The main reason I go to the Trade Center is for repairs, or to buy guitar gear. They have a good selection, and will treat you right. This is the only place in Morristown I would trust with my instrument repairs, period. The guys behind the counter know what they’re doing, and they’ll set you up right. Don’t forget to go downstairs to check out where the majority of the guitars/banjos/drums/basses/amps are held! There’s a staircase directly to the left of one of the glass showcases that will lead you down there. While they mostly carry Fender amplifiers and products, they occasionally have other brands they’ve got off trades or people selling. The majority of the time they’re more than happy to order anything you want if they don’t have it. They also host music events(Pickin’ on the Porch, etc.), and can direct you to most any local event of the musical variety. The Trade Center is a nice, friendly place to do business. There’s typically at least one dog or a cat walking about the store, seeking pets, and I’ve never ran into a rude worker there in all my life. For music(and more) in Morristown, the Trade Center is the place to go.
