Ordered the breakfast sandwich with Taylor ham(after reading other Unilocal reviews). The bread was fluffier than I expected, but overall the eating experience was very, very good. Nice balance of salt. Eggs were done to perfection. He wrapped it up well — it was still hot when I got to the office and tucked in. In a different league than«breakfast sandwiches» served by chains — this is real food.

I would just like to clarify to Chris L. Review. We went to Verellis to get there famous pizza kit that looked like was 4.50 according to his picture and review, but it’s actually 4.50 a shell and additional for sauce and cheese. There shells are amazing and delcious been having them for years. But was shocked when are order was more than what we’re expecting according to his review.

So what’s a pizza kit? At Verrilli Bakery it’s just a par-baked crust, $ 4.50 for a large that’s ready for your sauce & cheese & toppings, then your oven.(If you were thinking a cardboard box with bad dough & sauce in cans, then maybe you grew up in the 70s too. :) Or buy a bag of 10 small crusts for about $ 20. Usually plain white flour but whole wheat is available on request. Misleading name«kit», should be called crust. Now selling fresh bread, cookies and pastry PLUS serving full breakfast and lunch. Mostly takeout, but there are picnic tables out front for good weather. Finally open after several years, they tell me that the owner’s health delayed things a bit more than planned, but looking good now. I took home a fresh loaf of rye bread, excellent. Fresh bread every morning, bagels too. Sorry no lattes, just coffee by the cup.

The bagels were great, though a low variety. Also had a breakfast sandwich which was awesome, the owner made it himself. It had Taylor ham and eggs in it, which was fresh and delicious. It was not overly salty, which sometimes sandwiches with ham can be. We also tried the canolis which were the best canolis in the area, in my opinion. We also had a sample of the Chinese cookies, those were excellent. Everything was fresh and it was clear it was made with care. Overall the product was awesome. However, what really makes me want to come back here is the owner. He was the sweetest, most welcoming man. He was so kind to us and let us try things. He was honest with us and didn’t over charge us for anything. Which, by the way, the prices were not bad. We got a breakfast sandwich, a bagel, 2 canolis, 2 Chinese cookies and 2 drinks for about $ 17, which is amazing compared to the plethora of overpriced bakeries in the area. I would come back here 100 times and recommend every single person I care about to come here.

Absolute best bread on the planet, it’s sick but you can finish a whole loaf on the drive home. Think they sell mainly through other outlets now, like Fairchild Market. Worth seeking out

Home of the 2nd best Baklava I’ve ever had in my life.. .a giant piece for $ 4, so crumbly/sweet/yummy, truly awesome. They make what looks like really nice loaves of bread and pizza dough in multiple sizes. Place isn’t big and doesn’t do a lot of scale, but come on by for some good Baklava, Calzones, and other stuff. open 9 – 6 Mon-Sat.
