I have been to this restaurant so many times and every time I go it’s horrible! The staff is not friendly at all. The employees act like its a chore to be there working. Today the young Asian girl working at the cash register was eating chips and checking people out. Gross!!! I also came within a two week period of time and they are always out of stuff! The first time it was guacamole and sour cream and the second time was forks. How do you sell food that requires a fork and then say«we are out of forks is a spoon okay?» No, a spoon is not okay. There is a grocery store across the street. Maybe the manager should go to the store instead of standing around in the back! I will not be returning because if I am spending my money at your establishment I don’t want to seem like a bother to the rude staff!

You don’t want beans or a drink do you? I really like Chipotle food, so it’s a good thing this particular store wasn’t my first encounter or I’d probably write off the entire chain. I went at lunch today, and they had no beans… No black beans, no pinto beans, none. While they were(slightly) apologetic, there was no attempt to compensate the customers(yes, I asked). The end result was a tiny, yet full price lunch. They were also out of all diet sodas. This seems to be a particularly poorly managed store. Lunch today was a partial product at full price. I won’t be back to this one– ever.

I LOVE Chipotle, but this location has been declining rapidly. They almost never have everything stocked like they should. They are always out of(basic) things, and neglect to tell customers. For example, last time I was there I ordered a salad. They made the whole thing and then told me at the end that they were out of dressing. Really? You couldn’t have told me that before making the salad?! If I would have known that I would have to eat a salad without dressing I would have ordered something else. In addition, the Diet Coke fountain was broken, and that’s the only sugar free option they offer. Similarly, the portion size is consistently inconsistent, and seems to be shrinking every time we go, which is fairly often. Today was the final straw. We arrived at 11:15, 15 minutes after they open, and NOTHING was out. It literally took 10 minutes for them to make two bowls because they kept having to go to the back to get the ingredients one at a time. None of the meat was cut, the beans weren’t ready, and NONE of the cold toppings were out. The guacamole was also brown and tasted extremely off. The only reason I’m giving this location two stars is the fact that they comped our meals today for the inconvenience. From now on, I will drive a little further to go to the Southpoint location or Cary location.

I haven’t been to this location in awhile and after this visit, I doubt I’ll go back. They were running low on black beans and he only put about a tablespoon in my two burritos. When I asked if there was going to be anymore, he said no and I would have to wait 20 minutes. I cook back beans at home and they never take that much time. He neglected to ask me if I would wait. He continued to make my order and when he made my burrito bowl, it was skimpy. There was some food in the middle of the bowl, and an inch on each side. I could see the bottom of the bowl. I was considering in buying chips and quacomole and drinks but passed on giving them any more of my money.

I was recently here on a Sunday evening with my friends and was very disappointed. While standing in line for about 15 mins, we saw a notice at the front where you make your order that said they ran out of beans and lettuce. You can’t have Chipotle without both! My first thought was why couldn’t they just go to food lion for the items. Anyhow, my friends and I were very frustrated that the notice was not posted at the front door so we decided to skip out on Chipotle for Blaze pizza, which did not disappoint.

Eric and his team do a great job of moving people through the line at lunch and keeping this contemporary design Chipotle clean and up to date. Consistently excellent food and service.

I’ve never been to another Chipotle location before, so I can’t tell you whether I like this specific one or Chipotle in general. There’s always a line, but it moves fast. They give you massive amounts of delicious food with great variety of quality tasty meat. Barbacoa is my favorite, but they also have chicken, steak, some kind of soy mush for non-meat eaters, and carnitas. They have been out of carnitas recently though, something to do with issues in pork supply. Overall, for around $ 7 – 10 you can get a huge meal complete with brown or white rice, veggies, meat, 2 types of beans(black or pinto), a few types of salsa(poco is my fave), corn, sour cream, cheese and lettuce. A giant scoop of guacamole is extra $ 2 and worth every penny. I usually stretch my burrito bowl into 2 meals, that’s how big the portions are. Chipotle wins.

The customer service was great today across the board, thankfully there were no guac blockers

I am a huge fan of chipotle although this location has left me feeling sick! While eating my salad I found what appears to be tape off a cardboard box that was rolled up, melted, then found its way into my salad. I definitely won’t be returning to this location! Gross!

We love Chipotle but this is not typical of our Chipotle experiences. The service is not skilled at the art of wrapping a burrito, the quality of food is poor(fatty steak and runny salsa) and there is usually a line. I am not sure why it doesn’t meet the normal standards of Chipotle but I will stick with the Kildaire Farm location in the future.

Great most of the time. Dear Management: STOPBURNINGTHEVEGETABLES! It makes the whole thing taste burnt. It’s so awful! Just now(2:03 pm, Feb 25, 2015) I saw the guy throw burnt, nasty, black crisps onto my bowl and I wanted so much to ask him to throw that in the trash and start over, but I didn’t want to be ‘that guy’, so I resisted. But it’s for your(and my) own good. THROWAWAYTHEBLACKVEGETABLES! THEY’REBURNT! Other than that good job.

Not my favorite chipotle location. Service is lackluster and quality/freshness is lacking in comparison. What made this visit even worse… My little sister was in town and I was trying to get her to leave behind moe’s, Tijuana flats etc and convert her to the heaven that is the typical chipotle experience and she was left less than thrilled. She was so under whelmed that it’ll be hard to get her to give it another chance..

Pros: + It’s a Chipotle, so the offerings are pretty standard. + I like that their fountain offerings include both Coke Zero and Arnold Palmers(iced tea + lemonade). + The employees here have always been friendly, if not super personable. Con’s: — The«modern» interior isn’t a relaxing place to be on a lunch break. I think I’d rather eat in my car. Not sure if it’s the propensity of stools everywhere or the weird angles, but booths would be much nicer. I wish I could take my burrito into Noodles and Co. purely for their seating/coziness factor. This might make me weird. — My burritos/bowls here have always seemed a little drier than other places. Too much rice, not enough salsa? Not sure exactly. — General Chipotle gripe: I wish they had a way to take some Tabasco with me when I get a to go order that doesn’t involve standing in the way of the lids/utensils while shaking a tiny bottle of hot sauce to death over my food. To end on a potentially unanswerable question/thought: does Chipotle allow you to get half meat/half guacamole like you can do half chicken/half steak? If so, that would be a game changer. Tl;dr: It’s a pretty standard Chipotle with less than ideal seating options.

Chipotle is pretty close to best. I love their burrito bowl(veggie). I love their chips — they are far far better than Moes. Price is a bit higher but not many restaurants anything organic these days. I like that they make quick to go margaritas. One of my best/go to places — deserves 5 stars.

I have so many mixed emotions about this particular chipotle. One day the tables are super clean and the next i choose to eat elsewhere because the dining area is not suitable for eating. One day they took the time out to make steak for me at my temperature of choice(medium rare) and the next I ask for plain corn(I’m allergic to the salsa) and they grab me a cup of frozen corn from the back. What am I supposed to do with frozen corn? I’m on lunch break and I don’t have the area to prepare my own meal(hence why I came here). Great location and their service is quick. Just be sure to pick the right day to eat there. You never know.

I LOVELOVELOVE Chipotle, but I have to give this location a sub-par rating. I often stop by here on my way to work and multiple times I have gotten seriously jipped out of my carnitas. One time the server gave me so little meat I just blurted out, «Are you serious??!» and I NEVER say stuff like that. There is just a level of service I expect from Chipotle and 99.9% of the time they meet that standard. After this happened once, I figured it was a fluke, but after 2 times, I was like, «No way!» They better charge me for a veggie bowl instead of a carnitas bowl if there are going to give me just 1 ounce of meat. I hope the manager reads this and realizes that instructing the employees to go cheap on the meat may mean more money for the location, but unhappy patrons. And the die hard patrons like me have come to expect more from delicious Chipotle. …Seriously I probably upped their stock an 28th of a percent with all the money I’ve spent there ;)

I absolutely love Chipotle. For $ 7, you get a ridiculous amount of tasty and satisfying food. In my opinion, the cilantro rice really sets the taste of Chipotle apart from other chain Mex places. My go-to combination is the following: Burrito Bowl with white rice, fajita veggies, steak, salsa, hot salsa, corn, lettuce, and cheese. Yum! This location is also super convenient to the Morrisville/Cary area.

I’ve been here a few times since my last review. Service and the food is considerably better. This location is very convenient, so satisfying my Chipotle cravings is a must from time to time. I always get takeout at this loc because the seating is not that comfortable. The potions are better and the service is less pushy so for that I’ve bumped it up a star.

The popular casual dining restaurant chain, Chipotle, known for its burritos and tacos opened its doors on its new location in Morrisville NC in the new Park West Shopping Center. Due to its popularity the chain has already developed a following in the local area. Chipotle is a chain, so therefore there is a level of expectation whenever you venture out to a new location. All the familiar characteristics of what makes Chipotle recognizable were there: the assembly line, LED lighting, the stark décor, and the food that we all love. Service: However, while ordering my burrito, it became clear that this new restaurant location came out of the oven a little too early. The staff clearly needed more training as they looked unsure as they were working on the burrito. For starters, they apparently ripped the tortillas as they took it out of the package at the beginning of the day. So I asked for an unripped tortilla, which to the employee’s credit she was considerate enough to oblige, and it took the employee several tortillas down the stack to find a whole one. She put my rice, beans, and meat on the tortilla and passed it down the line. The next employee on the assembly line, the one who puts the salsa and the like before wrapping the food, managed to the rip the tortilla(which mind you undermined the efforts of the previous employee who searched for an unripped tortilla) and sloppily wrapped the ripped burrito, then rolled it into tin foil.(sigh) At checkout, I wanted guac and chips as a side and watched as the employee who wrapped my unfortunate burrito dropped the plastic container(that holds the guac) several times into the guac pit. It looks like someone has a bad case of the butterfingers. When I went today, the restaurant was not too busy and I could only imagine when this place gets busy during the weekend. If they are not trained well enough, how can they cope with high demand? Cuisine: Once I sat and started eating I noticed that the brown rice was improperly cooked and thus was on the watery side which completely ruined the taste of the otherwise suitable burrito. The chips were unevenly salted and the guac was too bland, with no flavor. The guac was my biggest gripe, because Chipotle has very good guac, and I loves me some good guacamole. Ambiance: For those who frequent Chipotle, you know that each location follows a certain type of look, but each store is tweaked a bit to differentiate them just enough. This location has an open-floor plan and it has a very cool downtown SoHo vibe that in its own right is very nice. Yet, it felt a little out of place being that it is in a very suburban shopping center. This juxtaposition does not fit. Unlike other Chipotle locations there are no family-size booths like the Durham and Cary locations have, so this location is not perfect for families with a large brood. Here you have lots of small tables that seat four people, bar tables, and one large metal table that is sort of a communal table. This might not be an issue with young people or busy professionals, but for families with small children it might prove a challenge to find suitable seating. There is also outside seating for when the weather is nice. Food for Thought: Overall, my visit to this Chipotle left me wanting. If this had been an established location, this would solidly be a two-star review. However, since this is a new restaurant with obvious kinks to work out I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and give them a three-star review on loan. At a later date, I will come back and then write a follow-up review to note if these issues have been resolved.
