We had the best lunch at this little unassuming café today! Wonderful friendly staff. Had the Vermont Maple Burger on Elmore Mtn bread, made with Vermont cheddar, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, very thinly sliced red onion and Vermont maple syrup! Unbelievable burger. We finished with homemade chocolate zucchini cake, that was delicious. A must go to lunch spot!

Pleasant staffs. I was surprised to be served food upon paper plates and plastic silverware. Not exactly environmentally friendly. My French toast was soggy, my home fries appeared overlooked with no flavor, the egg and bacon was alright. Didn’t offer poached eggs as an option. Only breakfast place in town, so it seems.

Delicious! One of the best places to eat around and the prices are fantastic. The Chicken Cheesesteak with everything on it is to die for & I absolutely love the coffee, which is free if you eat in! Honestly everyone should try here! The staff are also wonderful!

We decided to go to this place based on previous reviews. Unfortunately, we don’t think they got it right. The staff is exceptionally friendly, but the food is subpar. The quiche had no flavor, pancakes were undercooked, and the home fries were nothing special. To make things even more special, you’re served on paper plates.

This was a very nice place to have breakfast when we wanted to drive around a bit and get out of Stowe. Free coffee(selection of flavors) if you use their mugs! The quiche was delicious, my only regret was I could have eaten more like 3 pieces of it. Husband had a beef that his western-type omelet was too heavy on the onions. It was a thin sheet of egg style of omelet so that may not be for everyone if you prefer your omelets to be thick and fluffy.

Deb’s is the best breakfast place. I could end my review there. I am sure that everything on their breakfast and lunch menu is great, but after trying a couple things, I crave them, and I’m scared to try more as I might just live there! The bacon horseradish cream cheese is the stuff of my dreams. Right now I want to go and get a bagel with it on it. Real chunks of bacon. Mmmmmm… The breakfast sandwiches are hearty and delicious. Eggs are perfectly cooked and the cheddar cheese is melted exactly right. One day a week they have doughnuts. I’d tell you what day, except then there would be less for me. They taste just like my mom used to make. Except better. Don’t tell my mom. Some day I will try their lunch. Then I will have to quit my job so that I can hang out there and eat all day. Okay, they have doughnuts on Wednesdays. Just make sure you leave me a few. Or 6. Or a dozen. And no, I’m not sharing.

We came here on our way through Vermont and were ecstatic about their gluten free offerings! At first I was bummed we missed breakfast(6am-10am) but I never would’ve had the chance to try Deb’s delicious gluten free soup! She said she generally makes soup using cornstarch and they’re amazing! Also, there are gluten free bread options for the sandwiches. Our party of 5 had some wacky diet requests and those were met with polite accommodation. The fried pickles were tasty too, although I am not sure if they were GF. There were lots of traditional baked goods as well and the free tea and coffee was a total plus! They had at least six different coffee flavors and tons of tea options. All free!!! I would visit again if I was ever passing by just to eat more soup! As a gluten free person, I can say that eating soup out hasn’t happened much for me lately. Everyone in my group votes that they would try it again! Tasty and friendly!

I ate lunch there for the first time yesterday after reading positive reviews. It offers a wide selection to eat. It obviously is designed mainly for take out with only about 10 tables/booths for eating in, all packed into the space. I made my choice from the prominently displayed, hand lettered specials board, then was informed that it was a breakfast special, not served after 10am. I went to the printed menu and chose a black and blue(beef sandwich with blue cheese) and fries. The service was friendly and prompt. The sandwich arrived quickly, served with a deep fried, spicy dill pickle. The fries were nicely seasoned. The sandwich was well spiced and layered, although the amount of beef was a little skimpy. The Elmore Baking Company bread was excellent. All in all, a very good meal. The only negative notes I have to make are about the specials board(it needs to be updated after 10am or something noted about the breakfast specials) and the fact that I left smelling of grease from the open kitchen/fryolator. I will try it again!

Consistently friednly staff, fast service and great tasting food. I’ve gone 3 times for breakfast and 2 times for lunch and have never been disappointed. I am GF as well and they are very accommodating and knowledgeable about how to serve my dietary needs. Huge portions, low prices. Also if you dine in, coffee and tea is on the house. Even when their parking lot is packed you can count on a great experience at Debs.

Absolutely outstanding place to eat! Best breakfast sandwiches in town. Try one on the Elmore Mountain Bread! Staff is energetic, fun, and very helpful! The homemade donuts on Wednesdays are to die for! You won’t be disappointed! Daily specials are always a hit and delicious!
