Protect yourself — do not rent from Brent Blasingame Vacation Rentals! I stayed at the Nutmeg home in Morro Bay, CA back in December 2009. A third of the security deposit was not returned and after repeated calls and emails, I was given completely invalid reasons for withholding the deposit. I tried to contact the Rental Manager multiple times to obtain inspection documentation but there has been no response. It is unfortunate renters are not protected in vacation homes so please protect yourself and do not rent from this rental agency. Next time I rent from anyone I will take precautions to document the state of the home as soon as we arrive.
