First time in Morro Bay. Best burgers hands down. The meat has a ton of flavor. Try the JuJu potatoes and chili for sure. Service was fast, and the staff was extremely great. My 805 beer was super cold!

If you’re in Morro Bay and you’re feeling more like burgers EATHERE!!! It’s soooooo freaking delicious. My sister and I split the sampler and it was bomb!!! Their roasted potatoes and dip that come on the side are amazing. My mouth is watering just writing the review. Apparently they have one in Clovis, Ca which I’m near. I’ll be hitting it up soon!!!

Honestly, I’m not a huge person for reviews on Unilocal, but when I have exceptional food and service I feel inclined to let the public know. Let me tell you, the house of juju in morro bay not only is the home to a phenomenal selection of craft beers on tap, it is home to the best burgers in town hands down. Sat at the bar, severed quickly; and food absolutely delicious. Joshua my server went above and beyond the call of duty, pointing me and my girlfriend in the correct direction for food and drinks. Would put 6⁄5 stars if I could but I’ll have to wait until I come back down to try the rest of the menu.

This place was delicious. We didn’t know what we were getting into when my husband and I first walked in. We expected a typical burger joint but that is not the case. They are more of a health based joint but it’s not what you think! They’re burgers are very tasty! Don’t expect fries though. They serve their burgers with roasted potatoes which are also very tasty. My husband is the pickiest eater in the world but he really enjoyed the potatoes! We definitely will be coming back here when we take our yearly vacation to pismo. The service was awesome. I cannot remember the gentlemens man who walked is through the menu and served us but he was a big help and so nice to my toddler. He mad sure she was set up with crayons and even gave her a free snack!

Great service, great burger! Came here on Fathers Day and had the pleasure of the owner taking care of us. Watched the basketball game, enjoyed our food and relaxed.

Very nice place! We sat out on the balcony in the sun with our dogs. I had the red snapper fish tacos. The fish was so crispy and the chipotle sauce was delicious. One of the best fish tacos I’ve had. My family all got burgers which they loved. The bun in particular was nicely toasted which made the burger really yummy.

My boyfriend and I tried this place. I had a bowl of chowder, not bad, but different. I think the bacon in it throws it off. He had the sliders and chili. Very good, our favorite was the Calamity Jane burger.

The burgers are very good. However the service is not. We sat for 10 minutes before anyone brought the menus. Then the food took forever and when they finally brought our burgers they told us that it would be fires would take 10 more minutes.

3.5−4 stars for food Super slow so had to knock some stars off. Eating lunch can be a 2 hour ordeal there and we had kids… table next to us waited quite a long time too. There was not a line waiting get be seated it was just at regular capacity. Friendly staff, good view, decent kids meal, tasty burgers but sloooooooooooooooooow service.

The staff at this restaurant were great but my husband and I got the fish and shrimp tacos and we were a bit disappointed for the price. The view of Morro Rock was awesome though.

came here for the first time with a bunch of guys to watch the sharks game, drink some beer, and get some eats.(about 6 of us were there) 1) Were able to watch game with TV near the bar, they were nice and gave us remote to find the game and watch. 2) Good selection of beers on tap and on bottle, it’s not a beer garden but it’s close! 3) Food was good very good 4) service was fantastic and nice, was able to meet the owner. I would recommend and come back!

Quick and friendly service, tasty food with good presentation, and a great view! We ordered a calamity burger, chili dog, and sliders. The potatoes were tasty but I’m not sure about calling them famous(I was expecting mind blowing potatoes from the name). We scared everything down and we’re glad to have an option outside of seafood at the waterfront

Rode down from San Jose on a whim. Decided I want some fish tacos. Well these are grilled to perfection and mouthfuls of flavor. Roasted potatoes with chipotle sauce was incredible too. Some nice choices for craft beers too. I’ll be back for sure.

This is my first review ever on Unilocal but after eating at House of Juju I knew I had to take the time to try and pay homage to one of the best meals I have ever had. The slider trio was an excellent way to experience a variety of the many gourmet burgers offered. I went with the Calamity Jane, Dragon Lady and Leticia with a side of the Juju Roasted Potatoes. Each burger was cooked to perfection and the sauce and topping proportions allowed the flavor of the meat to shine through while still giving each slider it’s own very distinct character. The contrast of the soft and crispy buns tied each slider together wonderfully and held up very well, never becoming soggy or overwhelmed. The piece de resistance were the Roasted Potatoes. The crispy outer skin gave way to the most delicately prepared center. The texture coupled with the salty herb rich coating was only further accented by the garlic aioli dipping sauce. The staff was wonderfully friendly making me feel at home and like a member of the family. I will return to this restaurant and to any other Juju location in existence.

My new favorite place in town. I wish it wasn’t on the Embarcadero, due to the parking. I don’t even want to give it a good rating or the place will be so busy I’ll never get a table. Burgers are fabulous. Whether they are in a bun or bowl. The buns are to die for. The potatoes are delicious with several dipping sauces. I recently brought a group and everyone commented how good the place is. 3÷21÷16 service here has slipped. The last several times we have been here we’ve been ignored for most of the meal. Had to ask for refills wait on checks.

While passing through Morro Bay we decided to give this place a try for lunch. Depending on where you’re sitting you’ll have a great view of Morro Rock. The staff was friendly and we were promptly seated. Being I’m watching my carbs I really enjoyed their burger in a bowl. Great idea! I’d visit this place again if I was in Morro Bay.

House of Ju Ju, needs a bit more mojo. Burgers, C’mon why cook them to death. 100% Angus, CAUTION they cook it well… done! Why crying out loud :(??? (luckily I noticed and asked for medium rare) * Had the Ju Ju Blue burger, way too much blue cheese, it drowned everything else. 3.5 stars * Betsy Ross burger, 4 stars * Bread bowl chowder, soup is tasty, but have had better 4 stars * Service was good and fast 5 stars * The burgers are pricy at $ 13, 3 stars * Tried a peanut beer, that was great! 5 stars The bill was at $ 52, not bad. Just keepin’ it real at the Rock The Real Foodie

Juju is so fru-fru! Juju is the doo-doo! Juju is AWESOME! Best chili on planet earth. It’s not your institutional variety. It’s home made. Like the one you enter in your neighborhood chili cook-off. And won. And the chowda? Juju must be a naahd. From Maine. Cause they don’t make chowda like that in Cali. It’s legit. Figgedaboutit! The Calamity burger. Crunchy on the outside with tangy BBQ sauce. Is it worth $ 13 for a burger? YES, oh, YES! And the Laeticia salad. Blow your mind. With a kick. Wash it down with a Hoppity IPA, and I’m a happy camper. House of Juju — you rock !

I came in with high hopes for House of JuJu, but by the setting of the tide all I was left with were soggy buns and a bad taste in my mouth. On paper the menu itself does sound quite invigorating, but to me it just underperformed come crunch time(no pun intended). It was around lunch time and it seemed odd that for such a high reviewed place it was completely empty, but that has steered me wrong before so I look at it as more seating for me. The staff actually was pretty welcoming and did allow us to take as much time necessary to select without coming off pushy or overbearing so I do say kudos to that. I couldn’t set my heart on a single burger so I decided to try the slider sampler instead to get the best of everything. The first burger I nestled up to was the JuJu bleu. This one meat alone came out borderline well done so the meat came off dry and flavorless. The bleu cheese did give it a little small pop of flavor, but overall this one just felt flat for me. I then dove into the dragon lady. This one had a small kick to it that I did enjoy(probably the spicy garlic aioli), but the teriyaki slaw much like the side portion was way too heavy on the sauce too the point where it felt like I was drinking teriyaki glaze from the bottle. I ended up the meal attacking the Betsy Ross. Now this one classic as it was seemed to bestow my faith back in the meal. I loved the house sauce as it didn’t overpower, but worked well with the veggies and the cheese to show you don’t need to be flashy to produce a winner! If it does make the brother in law happy to come here next time I’m in town I’d give it another shot in hopes for some improvements, but on my own I would say it’s House of NoNo beyond that!
