Rock Solid Plumbing

Paxton Deurloo, owner of Rock Solid Repairman, Atascadero, CA is a silver-​tongued conman who is neither a plumber nor a competant «handyman». He did a piss poor job repiping our manufactured home, using poor quality materials and none of it is up to code. I should have done my homework before hiring this guy but he is a smooth talker and he said all the right things. Come to find out, he is not a licensed OR bonded contractor like he indicated and now I have leaks everywhere and I have to hire a real plumber to fix it. Lesson… check any contractor you hire for the proper licenses and get references. Do not hire Paxton Deurloo and Rock Solid Repairman!

Helped with a kitchen and bath remodel. Also ran a difficult gas line to a fireplace. Never complained about the difficulty of the job. Did a wonderful job and his prices are right in line and maybe a little lower than others.

This fellow came out to fix a clogged drain for my tenant. I never received a bill and she didn’t remember the company’s name. Months past then out of the blue I received a phone call chronicling mishaps on his end and asking for payment, but no amount or address. Then a week later threatening messages started arriving at my tenant’s door and my phone, claiming he had left many messages and demaning payment of $ 130.00. At least now I had the name of the company, which he had not left before, and an amount, but still no address to send the payment. Lucky for him I’m honest and looked up the company, but I would say the business practices are awful and the customer service is even worse. Since this fellow’s first message went on and on about his company’s error in not sending me a bill, he then turned it around and start accusing me for not paying. Find a different plumber and spare the madness.

My wife and I had been nursing our galvanized pipes for many years, until we woke to water coming through the ceiling and realized it was now time! My regular plumber recommended Rock Solid Plumbing to re-​pipe our house. I called Russ, he came over and started the process. It took a little longer then I would have liked, but I realize he had to fit us in his already scheduled jobs.
Our experience with Russ was excellent. We now have beautiful clean blue water and no longer have to buy bottled filter water to drink. And we never have to see brown water again! Rock Solid is the first time I have ever tipped a plumber for their service. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future. And yes, he is now our «regular» plumber.
