Food was good. And can’t beat it for the price I went for lunch and now I’m going back for dinner lol

You can’t beat $ 4.99 for an entrée, 2 sides, and a drink. They don’t skimp either! I like the crushed ice.
The ladies at the register were great. They missed an item at first, but double-​checked. They made sure we had ample condiments and utensils too.
I’m not in college anymore, but this is THE college town restaurant. Clayton State is fortunate.

I love this place great verity of options at a cheap price. The burgers are really fresh. The 4.99 combo comes with 2 sides and a drink.

I was quite impressed with this fast food restaurant. Being here for the first time and never hearing of this place since I’m a northerner but I’ve been down yonder many times.
The hamburger, hot dogs, fries and hush puppies were good. You get a very nice belly full of heart attack food. The biggest fist bump goes to how clean the inside was and the décor. I look forward to another cherrywine pop in my HUGE cup.

Food is good and they have good prices. All the bad reviews are mostly about the service which I tend to agree with. Go there when its not packed and you’re good. The place is filled with high school aged kids behind the register and they can sometimes mess up orders but I personally never really had any issues. The shake flavor selection is so extensive its really hard to choose. But the favorite seems to be the watermelon shake served only during the summer months and it has fresh watermelon in it which is really refreshing. The trays are awesome! They are only 4.99 and you get a entre and two sides and a large drink or a huge tea or a shake for a little extra vut honestly you can’t beat the price!
Oh and get cajun fries instead of regular for no extra charge. It tastes amazing!

I feel like every other time I come here I get some one with an attitude. Their kind of slow to have like 4 – 5 people in the front taking your order or calling out your food. The bathroom is really clean tho

food is ok. but service is Crap.
I remember i was in the drive thru line for 20 minutes just for a large cajin fries and a spicy chicken wrap. The fries were good, but the wrap is cheap shit. Its just a small piece of chicken tender with texas pete hot sauce in a tortilla.
It was like 3 inches long. I had 2 bites and i was done with it. chick fil A down the street has me waiting about 2 minutes for a grilled chicken wrapp and large fries. Cookout needs to be more professional and upgrade the service.

Food always hot I love their chicken wraps and spicy chicken sandwich. Their milkshakes are made from real ice cream so there thick but good I love this place the prices are good and I will continue to eat here especially at this location

Maybe I’ve just been lucky, but I’ve been to this place 3 times and have always had a phenomenal meal. The price is ridiculously cheap and the food is amazing. It really does remind me of having a cookout in the back yard. I’ve encountered long lines once, but I’m not surprised considering how delicious everything is.

When they opened, the customer service was amazing for the volume of business they had, it has steadily declined since then to the point that my last visit was just that. My LAST visit. They lost my order and then I dealt with attitude while they SLOWLY filled it. The attitude was so nasty that when my food finally arrived I handed it back to them and left. I will never return there, and suggest that unless you want to deal with incompetent, immature, nasty people… you do the same.
I tried to call to speak with a manager to complain. I called on 3 separate attempts but no one picked up the phone.
The service is better at any of the nearby fast food options.

When this location opened it was awesome. Since then the customer service has dropped considerably. The quality of the food is up and down. One trip it will be very good, the next could be very bad. Tonight the person taking my order was having a conversation with another employee while attempting to take my order and had a very bad attitude.

The food is decent for fast food. The drive thru wait time here is HORRIBLE for no reason! There is one car at the drive thru window, another car placing an order and I have been in line for 15 minutes not to mention the 5 plus cars behind me. I only stayed in line because we had sat for so long and need to get to the airport.

The food is typically decent. Not great but it’s less than 5 dollars for a meal so I don’t expect much. However, I do expect it to be fully cooked unlike the corn dog I received today

So I woke up thinking about all that amazing cheap food I had lastnight and I just had to write a review. I ordered the$ 4.99 combo. I got a ¼ pound burger with bacon and cheese and it was to die for-​Cooked to perfection. No red and it wasn’t burned. Fries-​these were the reel deal from potatoes, for my extra side I chose the bacon wrap (just because it had bacon in it). I was pleased with it. It was simply bacon lettuce and cheese in a tortilla. I will definetly be back. Oh and our order was correct but while waiting two folks from separate orders came in from the drive through to complain about their order not being correct.

It’s a hit and a miss at the same time. The miss-​they are so freaking SLOW! Painfully slow. I don’t know why this location hasn’t worked out the kinks yet. Now, I’ve been to several Cookouts and never had a bad shake until I came to this one. I ordered a peanut butter fudge and the stir-​ins were all at the bottom. For as slow as there are please be accurate. Pictures will show what I’m talking about. They make a great burger and the order is always right. Pick up the pace and get a better shake maker.

This location started out really well. Lines were out to the street for good reason. Good food and good and fast service. Then I guess they became too popular too fast because everything started to deteriorate.
Food that was once absolutely delicious is now mediocre. Today I got a burger that was seriously undercooked and coleslaw that had no mayo in it. They had dumped it straight out of the bag into the cup. On the last three visits after going through the drive-​thru I got home only to discover that at least some aspect of each order had been filled incorrectly. Service is very slow, and staff is below average. Most times when they hand you your drink through the window the drink itself is splashed all over the cup. They don’t even take the time to wipe it off. Once the lady at the window wiped it with her bare unwashed hand that had been handling money after my asking her to clean the cup before handing it over so that the drink wouldn’t spill over the interior of my vehicle. IMO, they’re now the new McDonald’s, and I don’t mean that as a compliment.
Made up my mind that today is going to be my last visit. Unbelievable that they could go from an initial five stars in my estimation to two so fast. I had high hopes for this place. Now they’re nothing but a disappointment.

Warning the line is always super long!! but it is definitely worth it. I always get the cookout tray with a sweet tea.

Ok, let’s get to it. The prices are unbelievably low, (that’s a good thing). The food is good, not the best I’ve had but for 5 bucks and getting a burger and two sides and a drink, it’s good. They had none stop cars on the outsides and the inside was pretty packed also. I took a family of 5 and feed them for under 30 bucks. Will I go back?, Yes. Great to see more fast food competition out there.

I will NOT be visiting this place again. Every time I go something is wrong. If my order isn’t wrong, my food is burnt. The food is decent, if they get it right, but I’m sick of waiting in the long lines only to get home and my order is wrong or my food is burnt. No more Cook-​Out for me!!!

The fast growing franchaise popped up near my house and believe me when I tell you that the lines are crazy long!
Their hamburgers, well almost all items on their menu are freshly cooked. Probably one of the reasons for their long lines.
This isn’t a place to eat if one of your NY’s resolution is to be healthier because their burgers are very, very greasy.
Their combo menu is pretty awesome, I mean, where can you get a corn dog as one of your TWO sides? In addtition, they serve Cheerwine!
The only downside is their cashiers, the two times that I have been dined in, they have messed up my order. It wasn’t anything too big but they really have to do better and actually pay attention.
