The $ 4 burger special was perfect – a big, juicy burger on a toasted bun with lettuce, onion and tomato and a quality pickle. Well worth the extra buck for fries and/or cheese. Very quiet for a late lunch. I may have to check out their Wednesday ribs too!

I’ve been there several times. In the past week I’ve had a problem collecting my money from video gaming machines. The first time I got my voucher ticket from the machine and went over to the cash kiosk to validate and collect the amount on the ticket.($ 100). I scanned it and I was unable to collect my money. I asked the bartender to validate so I can collect my money but was told she could do nothing about it. That I have to come back when the technicians were there so they process it. This happened a second time 5 days later. Today. It happened again. Unable to verify vouchet. And again I was told I have to come back during the day when the techs. For those machines are there. I work 60 hours a week. I don’t have time to chase my money nor should I have to. They have no problem taking the money but when there’s a issue on collecting you get the run around. Oh we have to call and come in with the voucher so that they can fix the problem. I should not have to go through that BS. There should be a manager there to take care of me the customer. Instead it’s oh I can’t do anything you gotta come back. That’s completely unacceptable and I would not refer anyone to go there and gamble.

Great food and a nice variety for«dive bar». Casual atmosphere. Curly fries are amazing and I have not tried the soups yet but have heard they are homemade and very good! It was the first time I ordered food as I usually just go in for a couple beers, I will definitely go there again for dinner or order take out!

If it weren’t for the occasional regular feeling like they owned the place this place would be even better. Owners are great and my favorite bartenders are Paulie, Liz, and Bill.

My wife and I(both from cbus ohio) met friends there for some drinks… Had a great time!!! Nice little pub with really good food. If in Chicago again, we are going back to the Bringer Inn!

«Bringer Inn, we’ll do the rest!» When I heard this, their unofficial slogan, I was looking in the Unilocal app for«Bring’er In!» and naturally couldn’t find it. Luckily, my companion was driving and he knew where to do, ‘cos I’d have died of exposure out there. What it is, is a crappy dive bar in Morton Grove. This is good! In the land of subdivisions and ugly new construction, this place stands out as a janky eyesore. A janky eyesore full of character and personality, that is! Our big group repaired to one of the dining rooms, the kids ran wild, while the adults imbibed. The beverages: standard issue, but they have Schlitz. The pizza: WHOA. Whoa. This is not in Chicago? Delicious stuff, this. Flaky, crispy thin crust. We got cheese, pepperoni, Meat Lovers and a veg pizza. Everything was piping hot and ooey-gooey cheesy delicious. I’d definitely go back for their pizza, WOW. Wow. Pleasant surprise, to be sure.

I’m finding it difficult to find anything positive to say about this place. It is basically a dump. The hamburgers are very reasonably priced, but on the other hand, you get what you paid for. Ordered a coke. Got a watered down version in a small glass. Later requested a refill and was charged again for another watered down version. Service wasn’t terrible, but was below par. How do they stay in business?

Typical local dive bar with very decent bar food and outdoor seating. I bring my mom in here for lunch occasionally. Daily food and drink specials. This place still looks today what it must have looked like 50 years ago and maybe that’s why I like it.

This is a great townie bar for locals, sports teams, and family adult time. We went there for a Trivia Game(hosted by the Morton Grove Library) and had a blast. It has an «old» feel to it, but it is up-to-date(nice women’s bathoom and clean). There is a juke box, pool table, and a few rooms to choose from in regards to seating. The bar tenders are so nice and the wait staff is excellent. I love the thin-crust pizza! Very, very tasty. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad(with no chicken, since I don’t like meat) and it was so good… especially with the curly fries on the side. The cook is great(Eddie? is his name). Fun place to go with friends.

Ok, we did go back a couple of times after my bad experience. Great Tanqueray and Tonic. The food isn’t bad… can’t remember what I ate but I guess it was good. I would have remembered if it was bad. We dropped in after a meeting with no expectations so it was fine.

Saw this place last summer while visiting the Morton Grove library and went here for a meal and a drink. It is like the only bar in this town and not a bad looking bar. Looks a lot like Woodlawn tap in Hyde Park. The service was better and the cheesy beef sandwichs were great. The drinks were fairly priced and the place filled with mild-mannered locals. They could install better televisions.

I LOVE the food here! Reuben ques. are my favorite– very good pizza and burgers, too. This is a dive bar that brings in a lot of locals so if you’re not treated with a red carpet and a crown, be patient. There’s an ER somewhere around if you need immediate attention.(Or go try the casino games in the back). The bartenders are alright…“DERF” is my fave… pretty laid back guy but professional. Waitresses take food orders and the bartender is just for drinks… if you’re nice they’ll combine your bill for you– I suggest being nice. Also, they have daily specials worth coming in to check out– so go in and check them out!

I love this place — it has a special place in my heart! They sponsored my softball team years ago so we would come here after games to eat and drink. While you can get bar food anywhere and the drinks are just drinks, this place feels like home. Cheers to the Bringer Inn!

I suggested we get some brewskis to rehydrate(heh) after a sweltering day outside and before our dinner reservations down the street, so my +1 and I stopped in here. I expected a dive, as I-love-me-some-dives. Normally they appreciate the people, they’re non-discriminatory and fun, and you get decent service. There were 6 – 7 locals around the bar, one bartender, and the TVs. Sure, alright: exactly what I expected. My +1 wanted to sit in view of the TVs to catch the game, but there were some dirty glasses and a tip where we wanted to sit. It took the bartender, who was just standing there not doing anything, a second to figure out to clear it off. So we sat and ordered. No beer specials — just $ 3 taps of Miller and Bud, and $ 4.50 for Blue Moon. Ehh, the bar was dirty. Sticky with crumbs all around. I had to sweep them to the side with my used and half – soggy beer coaster. The whole time we were there(20 – 30 minutes), she didn’t make one move to at least wipe down the bar. Nope… just played on her phone and talked to the locals. Seriously? It takes 2 seconds to wipe down the bar — THEN you can get back to your phone. Oy.

The Bringer Inn is a pretty decent dive and sports bar hybrid. This is a drinking only review. Cigar shaped bar with some high tables and a separate dining area of low tables. The venue has plenty of television screens to catch sports and even horse racing! Décor is pretty sports theme oriented, pretty dated and some quirkiness. The crowd a combination of 40’s to 50’s locals with a sprinkling of mid-20’s, plus a number of folks waiting for Pequods. Beer range is pretty average with a couple of German options on draft. Extensive pub style menu with reasonable prices. Service pretty good.

Been here a couple times after work. It wasn’t too expensive for drinks. The bartender was great the first time, but the second time the bartender was a bit of a jerk. The people are very nice and polite. It is just ok. Nothing amazing.

Oh the Bringer. Well, what can I say. It’s the Cheers of Morton Grove. Oh the nights I’ve spent in the back room amongst my drunken compadres, talking about this or that. Pitchers of beer, bar food, pool table, locals – this pace has it all. There’s even a gated outdoor area to sit. Yes, it’s not the most hoity-toity place in the world, but the service is good, the people are nice, the faces are familiar. What more is there?

Since my last review and the many many times I’ve dined at Pequod’s; this Morton Grove hole in the wall bar known as Bringer Inn has started to grow on me. The crowd hasn’t changed much, although its surprising to see some hot Milfs in here once in a great while. This change could be, because of the recent number of newly built condos and townhouses nearby. Service is still about the same, slow, but… when making requests to watch something on TV or in the past when I’ve wanted to catch an HBO special with friends, they had been accommodating. As of recently, they have gotten rid of HBO and Showtime. It’s an okay bar at best.

If Cheers were a real bar this would honestly be it. Everyone knows your name. However, you do have to go in there more than once, but if you go there once, the locals won’t forget you. It is a mix of younger and older crowd which is always interesting! It isn’t fancy, but the drinks are cheap and the people are nice. The pizza is amazing and cheap as well!
