Went here with two really good friends. They invited me last minute and this place is so close to my house that It went unnoticed by me for the longest time. Overall the place is a HUGE dive. It lacks any design or appeal what so ever. Went here rather late and only 1 bartender was serving 2 people at the bar and us three seated at a table. Other than the rude waitress the kitchen closes at around 10pm. The waitress lacked emotion for her job and failed to mention her name. In my opinion choose a different bar and keep driving passed this place as if it never existed.

Place is okay just don’t do business with him, he will never pay you. I’ve been trying to collect for two years.

Second time here. First time I had the tater tots and cheese pizza. I thought it was amazing, but always questioned whether it was actually good or if it was the alcohol. Tonight I had the wings, pizza, and tater tots. I am happy to report that they were all as amazing as I remembered! My husband got a chicken sandwich. At first glance I was skeptical, but after a taste, I was convinced. The food here is good. My husband wasn’t as big of a fan of the pizza as I was, but we rarely agree. I enjoy my pizza thin, crunchy and cheesy.

A local institution with decent food at good prices. The former manager used to deliver. The new manager doesn’t. I found this out the hard way, I guess you could call it. A few of us put an order together. They never gave us a total over the phone. So when the manager came in and my friend was getting the money together, he took it from her, counted it and then went off. He said, we don’t deliver maam! And especially not for no tip! I had no idea she didn’t tip him. I was scrambling for more money. We ALWAYS tip well. My friend said she was about to pull out more money for his tip but he didn’t give her a chance. And then he wouldn’t take it. He just wanted to lecture us. I couldn’t believe it. This guy was beyond rude. And I said to him, you don’t have to be mean to us. And he said,” this is not mean. If you think this is mean, you don’t want to see me when I’m”…“Wow!” was his reply. Basiclly telling us that he his Asshole capabilities had been way underestimated. So why not just tell us on the phone that they don’t deliver anymore. Why come all the way over here if they were so put out? We were loyal customers. Now with this new manager, I’m afraid to go in there.

If you ever drove down Waukegan in Morton Grove chances are you havent seen this place. It blends in with the other buildings and really doesn’t stand out at all. Walked in and the bar had a couple of locals in there. 100% dive bar with some pretty decent beers on tap. Alot of yellling, cussing over the country music came from the other side of the bar. The yelling toned out the music and reminded me of last call at a college dive bar, but instead of college kids it was middle aged locals just as eager to get wasted. After a second round, me and my buddies realized we were the most sober people here including the bartenders so we left so they can enjoy thier own party. I wouldnt be suprised if this bar is on Bar Rescue in the near future. Ps be careful Morton Grove Police are always close by :0…

A nice looking bar in North suburbs. The place is old and got good interior look inside and they make some pretty good food in the small kitchen in the back. looks like a good small business bar in a relatively corporate dominated area of strip malls and restaurants

Ive been in here before as they have good food and are open late when needed. In the recent few months the place has been slammed because the word is getting out! Late night bar with cheap, good food and a DJ on the weekend?! We needed this locally so we’re freakin thrilled. Best part is that they are not some corporate BS bar, the owner was rubbin elbows with us the other night havin a blast. Our new spot! Lets get weird!

Meh. Nothing special here. They have decent beers on tap, decent bar food, and ok service. Scott(I think that was his name) the bartender was super nice and knew what he was doing behind the bar.

I work nearby and my friends and I like to come here for lunch at least once a week. The food is very good, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. I usually take half of my meal in a to-go box. I’ve had the chicken Caesar salad, tuna sandwich, cheeseburger, brat, polish sausage & quesadillas(sp?). All were very tasty. Their tater tots are quite yummy and yes, they give you what seems like a bag full! All the servers that we’ve had have been very friendly and helpful. It’s also very clean which is a plus for us. I would highly recommend this place for a good, inexpensive and quick lunch.

Tommy’s is definitely a locals only type of bar. Walking in feels like you’re peering into the window at Cheers. Although you’d assume that the service would be average at best for newbies, our server was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a BLT, which was much larger than expected and the cole slaw was shockingly good, plus they included a crap load of tots with our sandwich. The drink prices seem lower than average and I can’t I can’t believe that they were offering $ 316 oz cans of Miller Lite on a Saturday. If you’re looking for cheap drinks, decent bar food, and a couple of TVs to catch the game on a Sunday afternoon, then Tommy’s is certainly the place.
