We decided to try this place but ignored some of the red flags. First we called to place our order, after three calls someone was finally bothered to answer the phone on a Thursday night. Second red flag, the poor customer service. No one asked for our phone number or names to keep track of our order. Nonetheless, we show up to pickup our pie at the 20 minutes quoted for our pizza. We arrive and are hardly acknowledged by the two counter attendees. This was rather inexcusable when there were no other persons waiting and only one family dining in. Our pizza was finally ready after 30 minutes. The third flag, the grease. The flavor of the house pizza was not bad, decent sausage. There was so much grease trapped under the cheese! This my friends is not the kind of grease you can simply dab off. It is the grease that is meant for mechanical devices to stay lubricated. Do your self a favor and go elsewhere for your pizza fix. I wish I could give them 0 stars. Not only was I sick for a day after eating this pizza. So were the other 4 people who had the misfortune of eating.

All sorts of pizza varieties but i usually tend to stick with the original cheese and meat, like sausage or pepperoni. Their fries is also good, a must whenever snacking here. My friend usually gets their italian beef but not much of a fan, less flavorful in my opinion. Theyre good for takeouts, may seem a but pricey for grub food. Its a family owned business but theyre really nice

If you want great chicken come to this pizza joint. It’s funny that we mostly come here for their broasted chicken, broiled/roasted. Awesome tasting juicy chicken that’s not deep fried. Their pizza isn’t too bad.

This place turned out perfectly for an exploratory pizza on a Friday afternoon lunch outing. We ordered the 12 inch thin and split it between Canadian bacon and pepperoni. For me the crust was perfect(slightly crispy) with a slightly zesty sauce. My luncheon companion thought the pepperoni was spicy while I thought it was perfect. The salad was okayish, but nothing to ding the place over. The operation is efficient. Comfortable, small dining area. Go and enjoy!

I’ve been going to Nano’s more or less my entire life. One of my favorite pizza places in the northern suburbs.

I have passed by this place a million times and finally made it in to try it. Ordered a thin crust pizza, the broasted chicken, broasted potatoes, and greek the salad. The pizza we had was sausage, mushrooms, and green peppers. The topping were generous, they were a bit light on the sauce, and I was not crazy about the crust. It’s very similar to the crust at Village Inn, but definitely not as good as Lou’s or Pizano’s. The greek salad was pretty good, had nice portions of anchovies, olives, and cheese, but the salad was very coarsely chopped. Some pieces of lettuce were larger than the pizza slices. Good and bad I guess, they are chopping it fresh right? By far the highlight of the meal was the broasted chicken. I have never had broasted chicken before this, but I definitely would get it again. It was seasoned well, freshly made, and crispy and juicy. Very similar to fried chicken, but not as greasy and less breading. I would definitely go back for the broasted chicken and potatoes.

Nice little restaurant in a strip mall off of Lincoln Ave, east of Austin. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the interior is newer, clean, and spacious. Ordered carry out recently, so I understand the freshness and quality of the food could’ve been compromised. Not sure who started saying they have NY style pizza, but their pizza is no where near that. It isn’t really«thin crust» either. The crust had layers of air pockets and was dry & chewy. The toppings were fine, though. We also wished they cut the lettuce smaller in the Greek salad, and the lettuce was losing its color and had some brown spots. However, their broasted chicken won us over! It’s so light & crispy that I questioned if there was even a batter. I love that you aren’t biting into just fried batter. And the seasoning they use is flavorful. Best broasted chicken we’ve had that doesn’t weigh you down and isn’t overpriced. We will be repeat customers for their broasted chicken alone.

This is a small place, but they serve some very good broasted chicken and their New York style pizza is decent! Christopher had spaghetti and meatballs. The portion was quite generous and it was tasty. I’d go back for the chicken!

Italian beef is really good. Taste very fresh. I think it’s family run and that’s why everything tastes good. They out cars in there food and not just some other fast food place. Recommend highly.

Very good pizza. Ordered a sausage, onion and green pepper. It was very fresh cheese and tasted great. The crust is a little crispy and very thin. So tasty! Never tried them before, but looked at their great reviews. The pizza was supposed to be delivered at 8:40 — 8:45PM., but was here at 8:05. Extremely fast delivery and a nice delivery guy.

Ok so customer service as noted in previous post is not good and definitely not great… with that said I can not count the times over the last year I have been there. I have had the burgers, shrimp baskets, hot dogs, chicken, pizza, salad, and soup… I have not had my tab ring under 10 dollars on any day. good. convenient and clean Delivery cost is 2.50 and min order 10

We always order from Nano’s for work and I must their broasted chicken is the best! The chicken is always juicy and the meal deals are priced pretty reasonably for the quantity and quality of food. Also, their coleslaw is delicious! The only place I ever eat coleslaw from is KFC and Nano’s has the same exact recipe it seems! Other then the broasted chicken we also order the thin crust pizza’s as well. I must say their pizza is pretty tasty and we all like the fact that it is not overly salty. Although, I’ve never sat down and ate at the restauraunt, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area for delivery.

I was first introduced to Nano’s when the Morton Grove Farmers’ Market ordered their thin crust pizza for an event. Tasty pizza, nice crust. I kept hearing people around town rave about the famous broasted chicken, so I decided to give it a try tonight during a fundraiser for the Farmers’ Market. I ordered broasted chicken and breaded mushrooms. The mushrooms were good, but oooh — that chicken! The chicken was tender and juicy with tasty, crispy skin. I will definitely be supporting this small business by eating Nano’s broasted chicken and pizza again soon!

I’ve been eating here since I was in high school(over a decade ago) and the food hasn’t changed. Am I bias? Yea probably. But I know good food and it’s still good to me. I love their broasted chicken(just like fried chicken) Mozzarella Sticks that comes with MEATSAUCE Coleslaw, my favorite coleslaw around… even now. It’s not something I would say, omg you must go out of your way to eat it! But if you live in the area and want to try it out, go for it. I would go more often if I was still in the area.
