Great people to work with. Found high end faucet online. They had the best price around, $ 100 less than everyone else. Placed order over the phone. They tracked the faucet and delivered across USA.

These guys are the best around! It was New Years Day and I needed a replacement hose quickly for my Hansgroghe faucet. They were actually open on New Year’s Day! The best part of all is that they had the part I needed in stock! Everyone else I spoke to had to order and ship it to me. This store has come through for me time and time again!

I had the best customer service experience. I was looking for a hard to find pin for a bathtub drain for a condominium sale, searched the internet and went to multiple hardware stores. The ACE hardware on Davis in Evanston told me about North Shore Faucets. I explained my situation to the elder man behind the counter. He found the part but it would need to be order, the size was not standard. He than suggested an alternative solution that I went with and worked perfect. I installed it and it looks great.

I’ve used North Shore Faucets since we moved into our 120 year old house in Evanston almost 20 years ago. Having a house with«vintage charm» comes along with sometimes unexpected plumbing needs. Over the years, North Shore Faucets has always been reliable, cost-effective, and most importantly, fast to fix our problems! As an example, this week we had a clogged shower drain. Rather than sending someone out to fix the problem, they talked me through over the phone how to unblock the drain and how to prevent it from happening in the future at no charge. I guarantee most other places would not do this. I’ll keep using them and recommend you do so, too.

They did have the part which we needed as per the recommendation of Ace Hardware in Skokie. Then this guy who works in the front, had no customer service, and«for good luck», he will insult you and your intelligence. He basically said…“Why not hire a plumber instead of doing it yourself, why? to save money???” omg! We did fix our faucets by ourselves. SORUDE.

I went there to buy a part. They did it have it. But the older European guy was rude and does not have any Customer Service skills. I will not go there any more. Expect to receive rudeness from there.

Whenever I have needed a part for one of my faucets(or whatever plumbing project I am working on), I have gone to North Shore Faucets and have gotten exactly what I have needed. And every time I go, Simon has given me great advice on how to fix it. Resources like NSF are sorely needed in this world of superstores and online shopping, and it is great to be able to speak directly with someone who has a wealth of experience. I will always go to him now whenever I need anything — it is a 20 minute drive for me, but well worth it.

This place is fantastic! If you have a hard to find faucet replacement valve, Simon can find it. I drive over 20 miles to order parts from Simon. Contractors and plumbers find this place to be the best for replacement parts. I give this place 5 stars for their knowledge and experience. You do not get this quality of service at the hig box stores.

No Returns! I went there on a recommendation from someone at Lemoi Ace Hardware in Evanston. I needed a replacement for a broken tub spout. The first trip to North Shore Faucets, they handed me a spout which cost $ 46. I thought it was pricey, but it seemed good quality so I purchased it anyway. After returning home and screwing it in, I noticed it was a bit short, leaving a ½″ gap with the pipe visible coming out of the wall. I returned the next day to exchange it for a longer one and the salesman informed me that it was 5 ½″ and the next size was 7″. The salesman recommended I buy new pipe a ½″ shorter than our current one and replace it so that the spout I purchased from them would fit. I checked our bathroom set-up and it appeared to be a much larger job than I was qualified to do. So I headed to Home Depot and looked into other spout options. Sure enough, an exact replacement for my old spout was there for about $ 16. I then took a third trip to North Shore Faucets to return their spout. I gave the salesman the spout in the original box with the receipt. He thoroughly looked it over and said he found scratches and would not take it back. After three trips there, I ended up spending $ 46 on a spout I could not use. They have a large sign listing several conditions as to why they do not accept returned items. I recommend they change it to ‘No Returns. Period”. Then none of this would come as a disappointing surprise!
