The food here is very tasty and inexpensive, especially if you get the lunch specials. I had the beef pad see ewe lunch special that came with a little curry puff and my mom had the pad woonsen. The mango bubble tea that I had was also very good. The lady who works there is always very friendly. I will definitely ve back for lunch soon!

Just had had great Vietnamese Spring Rolls and Chicken with Curry Rice for $ 5.95. They did job of balancing the different flavors of the tossed greens and also added just the right amount of rice noodles. It was possible to specify whether the Chicken should be mild, medium or spicy. I ordered Medium, which seemed mild. I didn’t mind but it definitely didn’t have a kick. The curry was OK for dieters or the meek. I probably would order a traditional thai curry instead next time. I ordered online and it was ready as promised when I arrived at the cash register. Parking was easy and convenient.

I always got their stuff to go. And I got the combination fried rice. It was really good but slightly on the salty side. But that could be because I added three extra soy sauce packets. The portion was always really generous. I’ve also had their pad se ewe lunch special. Lunch special is a pretty good deal for $ 7.50 with an appetizer. Obviously the portion sizes are smaller but still filling enough. The pad se ewe was pretty good. The noodles were mushy which is how I like it. There was a lot of chicken in there but not enough broccoli. However, the broccoli was very fresh. The chicken was pretty good. A little on the drier side but not too bad. All in all it was alright. I’ll had to try their pad Thai. I got my dish spicy. I have to admit their spicy level was not as spicy as I thought it would be. Granted it could be my Korean taste buds have a high tolerance for spice. Also the spice would have been better if it was evenly distributed. Some noodles were very spicy and others were bland. I had the spring rolls as an appetizer and it was not what I expected. Maybe my perception of spring rolls is off but whatever I got had some sort of chicken in it and not the shrimp, beef, and clear wrap thing. Still pretty good though. I should really go back and try some of their other Thai foods.

I’ve seen this place numerous times and always wanted to try it out! I haven’t had any luck finding a good Thai restaurant in the suburbs until now. It’s my first time here with that said the are huge and reasonably priced. The lady who seated me and took my order was very polite. I’ll definitely be coming back and ordering for delivery.

I’ve seen the lower rated reviews about the slow service and yes, it’s true on occasion. However, the food is great and we have never been let down by the staff. Today, I completely forgot the name of a dish that I like eating at this place(it’s called Kao Kha Moo, braised pork leg, and only on the Thai menu). Long story short, the entire staff was great about helping me figure out the dish that I wanted. The server was so warm and friendly, and very happy that we figured it out. And the dish(pic posted here) was… heavenly. My five star review is long overdue!

Ahh, I have to try this place at least 3 more times before giving it anything less than 5 stars. The(young) Asian lady who works/runs the place is genuinely sweet and gets everything right. Food is fresh, Thai-ish, hot and delicious. We tried cashew entrée with rice, green curry and egg noodles-pad thai followed by cookie dough roll with chocolate ice cream. Great place for taking out friends and family. The place may give more of a diner feel with an infusion of Asian décor. Cant wait to try this place again.

I really like this place. The food is good, prices are fair and oh my gosh the people that work there are hilarious. If I’m not mistaken this place has had a few owners the past years and the food is great now. I’m partial to the green curry, and really like their spring rolls.

Understand you go to Rosed Too for the great Thai food. 20 years ago she opened the first Rosed in Ravenswood. I moved nort and she opened new shop in northern burbs, too. Be prepared for no frills décor but greattttt food and excellent pricing. Lunch, dinner. Yummm, chicken satay to start! BUrP! AHHHH…

Warning: Do not enter the place if you’re very hungry and hoping to be in a happy place(like a Friday night after a long work week), because the service is really slow and the servers are not there to make any friends or show fake smiles at all… They don’t even say hi or look at you… Or maybe just to me… Maybe because I look very hungry and wanting to see friendly faces and warm welcomes:) The food is good though, cooked fresh when you place your order and big portions as well. My friend and I had tofu pad thai and lime chicken(comes with a cup of white rice). Both dishes were delicious, I cannot complain about the food. It’s just really the slow and unwelcoming s e r v i c e… It’s BYOB, they charge $ 1 per person.

Never disappoints. Excellent salads and soups-enjoyed the Tom yum fried rice as well. Reasonable prices — excellent option in the northwest suburbs.

Food is tasty and authentic. But be disappointed when it comes to service. Especially the old lady server who never smiles nor say thank you while attending to your needs or atleast when serving your food. One day we literally had to wait for a while to place an order when restaurant was empty and she chatted with rest of the people(presumably owner) sitting on couple tables away from us. We have been there multiple times and service has always been an issue. Not friendly and lots of room for improvement. If you care only about your taste buds, then, definitely eat there. reasonable price…

I’m not really sure why Rosded Thai has such a low average. We have eaten here 3 or 4 times and think the food is pretty good food. The last time we had the Tom Yum soup & the spicy Thai basil garlic chicken both very good. Today we ordered chicken pad Thai which was ok. In addition we ordered a spicy pork dish with green beans that was very good & the 3rd dish was a lime chicken that was fried with a lime sauce. The batter was very light and the lime sauce had a very slight sweetness that was delicious. I’m glad we ordered it Both times we used a Groupon of $ 20 of food for $ 10. We went over the $ 20 both times, but we had leftovers. The one thing that I had a problem with is they are very slow. It took forever to place the order & over 20 minutes to get the food after the order was placed. There were only 2 other tables so I’m not sure why the service is so slow(maybe they ordered carry out from another Thai restaurant) Maybe that’s why the ratings are low. I would say the food is very good — 4 stars, but the service drags it down to 3 stars

Got a couple of different dishes including a seafood stirred fried with veggies in a light curry sauce. It was good like other thai restaurants. Place is kind of tucked away. Could use a little update here and there not much ambiance to speak of. Nice attentive service run by a family.

Reasonably priced. Peanut sauce was okay. Vietnamese rolls weren’t my favorite but just wanted to try something different. I had the Thai Crazy Noodle which was good but unfortunately a little burned which may have compromised the actual taste of the entrée. Not the best Thai I’ve had but not bad at all. Clean environment. Looks fairly new inside. Outside looks like a Thai joint. Egg noodle pad Thai was delicious.

For the cost of the dishes, the quality left much to be desired. We ordered a variety of dishes to truly sample the menu; however, we found ourselves thoroughly disappointed. The Duck curry had very little duck, and that which was provided was very poor quality; the duck simply wasn’t fresh. The dumplings were tepid in temperature and nothing special but a little shy of $ 1 per dumpling. The mixed seafood platter had insufficient seafood, which was still of poor quality. The vegetables were over cooked, and only the bamboo shoots held life. Finally, the most traditional dish at a Thai restaurant, Pad Thai, was amazingly still below par. The dish was over done with too much oil to the extent that the noodles were screaming, «we’ve had enough.» Although presenting the right flavors, this is not a venue for those who have had good Thai dishes.

Roseded Too in Morton Grove stands out amongst the sea of Thai restaurants for staying true to Thai cuisine with the balance of flavors of salty, spicy, and sweet. Roseded has a variety of dishes that you don’t find often such as mussels omelette(hoi taud), Bangkok river noodles(guadeaw rua), and the Thai version of a Vietnamese crêpe(khanom buang yuan). All three of these dishes are time consuming which is why most restaurants won’t make them. The number one dish that you must get is the spicy catfish stir fried in red curry paste(pla dook pad ped). What makes this dish so special is that the red curry paste is made from scratch in house. Since most restaurants use the canned paste, the flavor is much more intense and robust when made by hand and it makes all the difference. This hole in the wall is easy to miss and the food may take some time to prepare but this is a must try if you are seeking out the true authentic Thai experience.

On first thought, this place looks totally sketch when you pull up. The inside is chill, nothing fancy, not run down. The food was pretty damn good, a bit heavy on the oil but hey it’s thai. We got some pad woon sen and rama noodles. The rama noodles are definitely heavy but its freaking great, especially if you’re a peanut sauce kinda guy/gal. I must say that this was one of the first times where the strips of chicken in my dish were NOT over cooked and were actually cooked perfect and maintained tender juicy-ness. My pad woon sen was pretty damn good too. We also shared the sample platter which was pretty good. The chicken satay was freaking delicious and again cooked perfectly. The shrimp in a blanket was definitely a first for me but great for anyone who like shrimp, i liked it plenty. the shu mai was really good too. This place didn’t blow me out of the water but if i’m in the area and craving Thai, it’s definitely on my list. Seriously, don’t let the sketch look outside throw you off, go check it out and Unilocal it.

Nice quiet place for a weekday dinner. We had: — peanut sauce spring rolls — crispy pancake mussels — panang curry beef The panang curry beef was our favorite and I may go with that curry now in deference over my old favorite green curry for a while. The peanut sauce on the spring rolls was a bit watered down. The mussel pancake was ok, but a lot of fried dough. They apparently have had a new chef in the past year, and the servings are decent. Headsup: No longer BYOB here!
