I have been on a Mexican sojourn and have come up with some authentic places in Peoria. La Fiesta was a place I’d seen going in and out of Morton. Bottom line based on the crab enchilada special I’ll not go back. The chips and salsa were very good… the enchiladas were very bad. I believe in truth in advertising and even though the eight dollar price on the special should have tipped me off that the filling would be made with«pollock» crab. Nice atmosphere, adequate service… maybe it will be worth another try with something more in line with a Mexican experience.

No longer on our dining list. To many quality issues to overlook. They consistently receive low marks on their restaurant inspection which is cause for concern. As long as there are no repercussions as a result they have no incentive to clean up their act or their restaurant.

Food is ok, Margaritas are weak I actually asked for a shot of tequila that I added to mine and it was better.

I really liked the food but my girlfriend hated her part of the food. So I decided to give this place a mixed review. The pricing is reasonable and the service is pretty fast.

Good place to dine in. Nice atmosphere and delicious menu. Wife and I went for casual dinner and we got what we paid for. Nice staff and the fajitas were really good.

Food was pretty bad and the service got really slow. Meat was dry and burned for the fajitas. I also got 3, 5 inch tortillas which was pathetic. No cheese. I doubt we’ll return.

We were driving through Morton on the interstate and stopped for a quick lunch. They served warm corn chips with a tasty salsa before serving up quick, inexpensive lunch specials. We both ordered the«Speedy Gonzales» which was indeed speedy and good. Do not be put off by the condition of the building — it is showing some wear, but the place was clean inside and the food is well worth stopping in.

La Fiesta, you are back! We were frequent customers for many, many years and about 2yrs ago, there was a huge decline in the quality and we quit going. We tried about 4 – 5 months ago and it was still terrible, but the décor was changing. Decided to try again tonight and I’m glad we did! They had a Hawaiian Fajita special that was amazing… something new. I had my former favorite… the LaFiesta Cheese steak burrito. The steak was good quality, not chewy like rubber, nice flavor. The ambiance definitely has a new more traditional look and flair. We will definitely get back for more frequent visits!

Great food and drink! Had a margarita and enchiladas. Highly recommend. They also have an area-51 arcade game!

Enjoyed a great authentic meal while driving across country. Not far off of I-80. Recommend #1 taco with chili rieleno.

Tobias Delgado was the manager there, but he’s gone and there is a new one there as well. Still love their food, though — especially the nachos!

La Fiesta is a great place for«authentic» Mexican food. The restaurant is located next to Kmart and getting there is easy. The inside of the building is clean with lots of seating(in a previous life it was a Golden Corral I think). Outside there is plenty of parking in the well lit paved lot. They have a substantial menu with specials on food and drink. The food is always fresh, hot and the servings are quite sufficient. My favorite is the Juan Special which is chicken, green bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions. They use really good flavorings and grill everything together. It is served with warm tortillas Spanish rice and re-fried beans. My wife likes the La Fiesta burrito. This burrito is filled with beer marinated pork and is covered with picante sauce. Comes with rice and re-fried beans. With soft drinks the above meals run a little over $ 25.00. Very appropriately priced.

Fast, cheap, and very good. As authentic as you could ask for in central Illinois.
