It’s been a while since my hubby have stopped in. The service is always sweet and friendly, she was training another server who was all smiles and super kind. Seems like the menu is smaller. My husband would always get the ham and eggs, that’s not on the menu any longer. This time he got the waffle combo eggs and a waffle. I got the eggs Benedict with hash browns and fruit.

Food looks great in the pics and we wanted to try it on Sunday as we passed through town — unfortunately we weren’t given the chance. My husband and I arrived at about 1pm and sat at a table on their patio. We saw only about 2 – 3 tables with a few customers in their small indoor area and about 3 – 4 tables with couples, including us, outside. Before we were acknowledged by a waiter we watched 2 tables speak to him and then get up to leave without ordering. He came to our table next to tell us that he was«really sorry but they are really busy right now and your food will take about 40−50mins.» REALLY??? For Burgers and Breakfast items? We passed. As did another table as we were leaving. That means that basically 4 out of the 7 tables they did have were shooed away so I’m guessing they weren’t busy anymore that afternoon. I just didn’t get it.

The last couple of times we’ve been here the food and service was meh. But we thought we’d give them another try considering they’re so close to where we live. Well, were weren’t happy again. When they brought us our food my hash browns were not brown but soggy, oily and kind of cold. I asked her if I could have some different ones that were crispy. I checked my gravy and that was also cold. She came back really fast with new hash browns. Again they were the same, so I asked if I could have some browned and crispy hash browns. She said, that will take a while and I told her I am fine with that. It did’t take that long and when they came back the 3rd time they were compressed into a paddy and deep fried yuck! Plus now my eggs were cold. She took those same eggs back 3 times, how could the be warm by now? My husbands hash browns were the same cold soggy and oily. She never came to check on us and I had to track to down to explain how unsatisfied we were with our food. They also don’t butter your toast enough and their biscuits aren’t that good. We’ll never be back! We’ll take our business to the Moss Landing Café where they truly know how to cook and have great coffee.

Simple little fish and chips and burger place. Great staff, skilled cooks, and friendly. The place is a little on the high volume/dirty side but is more rustic than dirty. Indoor seats remind me of outdoor seats. But for price it’s a value place and decent food too. Will try again for a 5-star review. Needs a new paint job, indoor furniture, and new floor. Thank you Lighhouse.

I have been here several times, the food and service is always good so we made the 20 mile trek for breakfast. What a disappointment; I am not sure if they were short on staff but there is little excuse for the experience. The wait we were told would be longer than 20 minutes — it was an hour. We sat outside, it was warm, we ordered drinks which were not brought a one time — 3 trips later we all had water. When the food came one item was sent back as it was cold, the eggs were overcooked in spite of asking for«soft», the fruit tasted old. Overall the food was just ok, not as good as in previous visits. The most troubling part of the experience was the lack of care or interest. If the server had been personable, it would have made a huge difference. She seemed embarrassed, was not communicative and we felt uncomfortable.

Don’t know what happened. Went for breakfast yesterday and it seems to have gone way down hill. The espresso bar is gone, the friendly waitresses are gone and the place is just plain dirty. We both had the breakfast skillets. I had the Harbor: potatoes, cheese, onions, peppers, and cubed ham, topped with two eggs over easy. While pretty tasty, there were more red bell peppers than anything else, and I don’t recall seeing much ham. Hubby got the vegetarian and except for the ham, the two dishes were exactly the same. A filling breakfast yes, but for $ 13? The waitstaff were blank-faced and service was slow and it took forever to get our food from the kitchen. We didn’t get eating utensils until our food came. Also, it has been very humid in our area(like everywhere else) and inside the restaurant was like a sauna. Too bad someone didn’t think to open a door or window. I was going to request it but no one checked on us and only once did anyone come around to pour more coffee(which was mostly undrinkable). Sadly we most likely will not return.

Beans are made from can, home fries are deep fried and taste like fish, toast taste as if it was in the freezer. Their Mexican food is not authentic at all. Coffee sucks too! And I’m not picky at all!

If no one else reads this, I hope the owner does. If I could give NO stars, I would. Me and my husband went last weekend to try it out and we walked on balcony and were flat out ignored. Nothing. No I’ll be right with you, have you been helped? NOTHING. It wasn’t packed, but it wasn’t empty either, so we thought we’d give it a shot. We waited about 5 minutes and left. Kinda weird being ignored. So today, we went and took our daughter and her friends for lunch. Once again, exact same thing happened. But since they were hungry and everywhere else was packed we stayed. Waited for someone to help us, I finally went in and asked for a menu. The lady looked at me and stared right past me. Wow. No acknowledgment. So I said, HELLO? She said, ok I’ll send someone. REALLY? so we had already been sitting out there about 10 minutes and finally got take out paper menus. Lol so, of course we looked it over and 15 minutes later he comes back to take our drink order. We ask him what there is, and he’s bothered to tell us, because THEREARENODRINKSONTHETO-GO menu. And he’s clearly irritated that WERE taking long to decide on drinks. 10 minutes later, he brings the drinks, and we have to wait to give our food order. We finally get to that and yep, you guessed it! Everything was cold, not fresh ATALL, flat out horrible! You would think that because of their location they would have decent produce, and better service. It’s a burger place, and should never take 2 hours to get something as simple as a burger. Get it together! This could be a great place.

A dive that could be better if they wanted to try harder. The place has some charm but needs a makeover and a deep cleaning. Burger was good and not over priced($ 9). The bacon on the burger was really good & generous! Wish we would have asked to leave off the tomatoes, they were extremely underripe. The Benedict(Crab Bene on the specials $ 14& $ 12 without crab) was unfortunately awful! Hollendaise was bland, needed seasoning and more lemon. Crab was mealy, waterlogged, and bland. Eggs were not poached, more like fried the the lid on, so maybe sautéed and steamed. The fruit that automatically comes with breakfast(honey due, cantaloupe, & grapes) was underripe, what a waste! I did appreciate that the Anchor & Sierra bottle beers were only $ 3.50. P. S. The Menudo soup is only available on Sat and Sun.

Very disappointed. The last few times I’ve gone the food has just gone downhill as well as the service. I’ve been going there for the past 6 years and my boyfriend had been going his entire life. I used to order the full frenchy meal– french toast, eggs, and sausage. The sausage is supposed to be an Italian sausage patty– it has shrunk and the meat is just odd now. The eggs are like rubber. The portions have also gotten smaller as well. Today my boyfriend had bacon and eggs. The eggs tasted funny, the bacon had this weird color to them and the toast seemed like it had been toasted and then re toasted. I got the fish and chips with a side of onion rings. There were 6 smallish onion rings in the basket for $ 4.50. The fish was overcooked and dry and the fries were so so. It took forever for the food and wait staff to come and get our drink and food order. They were not even busy at the time. I’ve been there when they have been packed and the service was faster and better. There were maybe 4 tables seated and there were dirty dishes left on tables for a while. We keep wanting to give them another chance but I think we’ve given them enough. Every time I leave now I just end up with an upset stomach. This time I didn’t even finish my food.

I used to come to here pretty often many years back. I decided to come back in last week with my family to enjoy some of their delicious fried artichokes, buckwheat pancakes and a beautiful al fresco lunch. This place definitely captures that roadside beach Americana charm with weathered clapboard, kitchsy décor, giant palm trees and boats and big breakfasts and big bites. What I really like about this place is you can find all your breakfast staples along with a wonderful menu of Mexican, American and seafood selections. This is a great place to bring a group to ensure everyone can find something to please their palette. Whether you’re craving a crab omelette, huevos rancheros, biscuits and gravy, grilled cheese jalepeno popper sandwich, a colorful salad or a brimming burger, you will find it here. This time around we ordered the basket of fried artichokes(12 for $ 8.95) to share. They were gone in 2 minutes flat! I just love their fried chokes with ranch dressing and was very happy they were just as good as I remembered. Their artichokes are so tender with a crispy golden brown batter. I also had the Hailbut Fish Tacos and they were delicious! I wasn’t sure about ordering these at first because I’ve had a recent rash of fish taco disappointments… they’ve been either too fishy or too bland. These were perfect with lightly grilled seasoned halibut, salsa fresca, a zesty avocado dressing, shredded cabbage, shredded cheese and a generous side of rice and beans. The tamales are another solid choice… very light and fluffy. My mom ordered the Mole Tamales, which were on their specials board. Be wary of the mole tamales if you’re not into sweet sauces; these tamales came laden with a very sweet mole sauce. The buckwheat pancakes are one of my favorite items to order here so I had to order a side of them. They’ve got the taste down pat. Java junkies can pick from a nice selection of coffee drinks, expressos and tea. Their regular coffee is freshly brewed and smooth and made me supremely happy. Coffee beans were being grind as we entered. They have great specials so be sure to peek at the specials board. Do order the fried chokes if you are a fan. I’m definitely hinking about making another quick trek out to the Lighthouse Grill very soon.

1. @Yelp, the address is incorrect. The address shown will take you to the cemetery in Moss Landing. Use google or Apple Maps to find this restaurant. 2. Very friendly staff 3. Cool, rustic style place. Low frills but with some charm. 4. Food is good, nice twist on most common breakfast options. Had the Veggie Skillet and added bacon. Great flavorful, thick bacon cuts. Pretty greasy on the skillet but flavorful. Probably not a good option for health conscious eaters. 5. Others in group liked but didn’t love their Benedict, veggie scramble and fruit with yogurt. Solid spot. Probably not a «destination» but good if you need a bite when you’re in the area.

I was going with the flow on this one. The local business recommended it for a late lunch. I ordered the seafood burger or could have been a crab meat burger. Basically, a breaded crab cake on a bun, though, it could have been frozen out of a box, for all I know. It was okay. I also ordered sweet potato fries and that was spot on. I also ordered a beer when I sat down and before I ordered; however, when the food came out, the server didn’t come back to see if I wanted another beer. Service was slow and inattentive. I gave it two stars, but it may change as I want to go back for breakfast and try the eggs benedict and one of the Mexican breakfast dishes, but, for my money, it could have been spent elsewhere for better quality and service. Suggestions: The staff needs to be a little bit more customer friendly. Because, the server isn’t really going to know how fast the food is going to come out of the kitchen if there is a group of 10 in front of your order.

First, the service was both terrible and slow. We are very nice, quiet people; not demanding loud or rude, but by the time we were leaving, I was quite upset. When the waitress arrived with our appetizer, she brought a dirty plate. She did take it back, but never brought a clean one. After waiting for approximately 30 minutes, our water was never refilled, and finally we had to ask another waiter to fill our glasses. Shortly thereafter, our food arrived-that was the only part of our experience that was acceptable. After eating about half our meal, we asked for a to go box, and the waiter brought us a dirty, used one. So gross. I took it back and he gave me a clean one. At that point, I asked for the check, and the waitress took my card. The transaction was«declined» even though I had $ 1400.00 in the bank. She would not re-run the card, and walked away while I was speaking to her. I was forced to walk to the market next door, pay a $ 3.00ATM fee, and pull out the cash. The food prices were a bit much for the portions, and the service was terrible. When I complained to another waitress, she said I could take it up with the manager, but he wasn’t around. No apologies, but the second waitress said she liked my shirt, so I guess that makes everything ok.
