First visit I dined in. The food was delicious but the service was so bad I couldn’t believe it. My 11 year old grandson had to walk over to the server station to get us all silverware. We had asked for it several times and after our food was on the table we realized it was self service or no service. Drinks were not refilled. Dishes were not cleared. Second visit was take out. After not being able to get through on the phone, we went in to place the order. «20 minutes» is wait time. An hour later our order came out and at that time we’re told one item is not available. I guess they expected someone at home not to eat. We asked why we weren’t given the information sooner which would have enabled us to substitute something different to ensure all family members would get a meal. The owner declared she was too busy. The owner was waiting tables, one young woman was answering calls, taking orders and cashing out payments. There was one cook who briefly walked out of he kitchen to access the crowd. I conclude they are very short staffed, hence the lousy service. Never again! The food might be good but not good enough to compensate for the worst service I’ve ever experienced.

Someone brought me egg drop soup and sweet and sour chicken. Although I was grateful for the gift of lunch the food was awful. The egg drop soup was the deepest yellow color I have ever seen for that type of soup and was completely void of flavor. The sweet and sour chicken and sauce was bland to the point I ended up throwing most of it out. The egg roll was pretty good though

No options for ZERO stars. Christmas Eve, I get. But when I’m actually willing to wait an hour for take out, show up 70 minutes after I called, and STILL wait 35 minutes… and they tell me, «it will be ANOTHER20 minutes…» I just can’t accept it. Did I mention there were 8 – 10OTHERS waiting in the lobby with the same story? Terrible! I’ll NEVER go to this place, again. It’s Christmas Eve… don’t you know people want Chinese food? How do you NOT have any staff working?

Awful food… ordered general tso’s and egg roll. Egg roll was frozen inside, informed manager but didn’t ask for another one. Still got charged for it. Diet soda was flat and general tso’s was bland. Hard to imagine a standard Chinese food dish could be so horribly messed up. Will try other places for Chinese food fixes in future.

FYI The shrimp and mixed vegetables ALWAYS comes spicy… so if you don’t want spicy you gotta somehow make these people understand. I recently ordered the shrimp and mixed vegetables by phone… I clearly requested that it NOTBESPICY… but they screwed up and forget… OK…I can forgive these people the first time. But then it happened a second time… and I had just explained to them that they already did this one time… and please don’t do it again… you gotta wonder if these people understand English. Other than this faux pas, they are more expensive than Big Chef… however they have much fresher shrimp. Plus the vegetables are fresher. Need to try the one next to the old Super Fresh

The steamed dumplings and General Tso’s chicken are outstanding and the owner is incredibly kind. I always feel like going there was the right decision.

Want some overpriced, underseasoned Chinese food straight out of 1958? Then this is your kinda place. Other than the Orange Chicken, I didn’t eat one item in four trips to this restaurant that I considered good. I will not be back, ever. This is far inferior to Big Chef, though it’s cleaner and newer.

Great basic Chinese food at a super price. We love the crabmeat cheese wontons as an appetizer. Lemon and orange chicken are great and they make a super Kung Pao chicken.

This is the best Chinese in the area. The vegetables are fresh and cooked so that there is still a slight crispness. The sauces are perfect and they can adjust the level of spiciness to your preference. I requested extra spicy which may have been a slight overkill. It was loaded with the dried hot peppers. It may have been better if the peppers were re-hydrated a bit before adding it to the dish. The rice was a little dry like it wasn’t cooked with enough water. However, it was a good and satisfying meal. My husband and I ordered 2 entrees each plus spring rolls and hot&sour soup so that we had a variety. It lasted us 3 meals! I would recommend this place if you are in the area and craving Chinese food. You may eat in the restaurant or order carry out. The prices are very reasonable, the food is good quality, and the portions are huge!

I ordered General tso’s, Wonton soup and Shrimp fried rice. It came out to 20 dollars. Are you serious, I can go to the other place near the Mexican place and get all of that for less than 14 dollars. The wonton wasn’t even hot but it was good. My biggest issue was the price of the food. I didn’t get what should amount to 20 $. I wont be eating there again.

Decent take out here and that’s pretty much all I have to say. I don’t eat inside any more because they take to long to bring you your food. They are remodeling the inside but that still doesn’t matter to me, its not like that is going to make their food so much better.

Above average Chinese take out. Fried rice and sesame chicken were perfect! Get the dinner combo its a perfect amount of food. Yummm. The wonton soup was okay – I got the dinner combo with soup and an egg roll. I don’t think I would order the soup separately because it wasn’t that good, but I ate it because it came with the combo. I have also eaten in and was pleased with the service! Good for eating in or taking out!

We ordered dinner for carry-out tonight. We ordered moo shee vegetables with extra pancakes and we didn’t get ANY pancakes. We also ordered a family favorite Pineapple Chicken. It used to be white chicken breast cuts and pineapple in a sweet sauce. Tonight it was mostly cut green peppers, onions, and carrots, with a few pieces of pineapple and even less chicken. VERY disappointing. Make sure you double-check your order before leaving the restaurant.

This was literally the most disgusting Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. I called in and while the employees were very friendly, they didn’t even have delivery. I’m not from the area so I had to go look for it, which wasn’t particularly difficult, but the idea of a Chinese takeout place without delivery doesn’t make much sense to me. The place was dead empty when I picked the food up, which should have been a red flag on a Friday night. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, sesame beef, and steamed dumplings. I know Chinese doesn’t ever really have the best quality meat but I had to use a steak knife to get through the sesame beef. The sauce was good but the meat was probably the lowest quality I’ve ever had and I stopped eating after I found a piece that was still raw in the middle. The sweet and sour chicken was obviously reheated and came in a carryout container that had more vegetables and pineapple than chicken. The sauce was weirdly thick and tasted old. The dumplings were okay but the sauce was unappetizing. The prices were pretty consistent with most Chinese carryout places but this was by far the worst quality Chinese I’ve ever had.

I am so tired of eating Chinese food that has been reheated in the microwave. This place is famous for it. I just ordered carryout and my meal was ready in less than 4 minutes. It’s so hot, I can’t even eat it. China Garden in Frederick does the same thing. Their soup comes out dangerously hot.
