Ken in the Hardware department was extremely helpful. Then Jennifer was a sweetheart at the register, right before closing. I was having a bad day and their customer service just made my night. Thank you!

in the experiences i’ve had here recently, i’ve encountered some poor customer service.
granted sometimes i forget to take off my cloak of invisibility before i leave my house, so they may just not see me… but most recently, i went in with my husband, and the cashier walked away from us as soon as we approached her to call for an employee to go to another department, and we waited for her to acknowledge us and our one little draw knob we wished to purchase for a few minutes-​she could have looked up and said «i’ll be with y’all in a moment» or at least a smile and «one moment»…but no, it’s almost as if she intentionally kept her head down so she wouldn’t have to multi-​task by ringing up a draw pull.
then other times, employees are more interested in having conversations with each other while ringing up customers than acknowledging the customer and being gracious for our patronage.
it’s as if they don’t even care. take pride in what you do and appreciate your customer. i can drive down the interstate a few exits to go to home depot next time.

Like this Lowes. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Store appearance is always clean inside. Isles and products are clearly marked and easy to find (if you know what you are looking for). Usually not a long wait for check out, but weekends and warmer weather can change that. Overall a pleasant experience.
