As an establishment in itself, I give this place 5 stars. As a place I’d like to hang out, I give it a 3. This is how I arrived at 4 stars. The bf and I decided to pop in to see what this place was about after having drinks down the road. We were immediately greeted by the owner/bartender George. He was very welcoming and friendly. The place looks pretty nice inside with inviting colors, low lighting, and cool booths. George told us the seating was actually the back seats of 2011 Impala police cars. There was lot’s of racing/Nascar stuff on the walls. Totally not my thing, but whatever. We were in Mt. Juliet. It’s to be expected. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Bottle of Miller Lite was only $ 2.50 and my glass of riesling was only $ 4.50. There was a cover band playing that consisted of three 50+ aged men singing the usuals like Mustang Sally, La Bamba, etc. The majority of the clientele was definitely late 40’s and above. It was actually kind of cute seeing them«get wild» on the dance floor. I plan on telling my dad about this place because he likes to dance and he lives close by. Would I come back to this bar on my own accord? Probably not. However, I do recommend it for older folks who like to go out and dance to classic rock from the 70’s. :)

We’ve been here a couple of times, and we LOVE this place! Papas is the Spanish word for potatoes, so their specialty is huge stuffed baked potatoes. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get, and the servers are always attentive and polite. It’s a sports bar with a huge TV and four smaller ones around the restaurant. The booths are car seats, which gives it a nice touch. It’s usually not too crowded, so check it out!
