What has happened to this place??? I used to frequent this bar a couple of years ago. It was always busy when Sean was the owner, such a nice guy. I have been back 4 – 5 times since he left and it has slowly gone down hill. This last visit will be my LAST. Firstly why is there a child bar tending? Max 15. Then another brunette girl there just talking at the end of the bar ignoring customers. I sat for maybe 10 minutes drinkless, when there was about 5 people in the bar. Service was terrible, prices to high for a flat beer, I asked for a different one they still charged me for the first flat and undrinkable. Not acceptable! They used to have such friendly staff, such a disappointment. Apparently Brian still works there I suggest if he isn’t working leave.

They robbed me, making an otherwise pleasant meal unpleasant. Long story short: Two burgers on the menu, 10.95 and 12.95. I order the 10.95 one. When the bill comes, it’s for 12.95. I question why — I got the 10.95 option. I was told because there’s only one price in the system for a hamburger, and it’s 12.95. If I’d known I’d be charged 12.95 either way, I would have gotten the deluxe burger, with cheese, mushrooms, avocado, etc., the whole 9 yards. So either they straight up robbed me of $ 2.00 or they robbed me of the toppings. Either way, it’s a dick move. The price on the menu should be the price on the bill. It’s just that simple. Really don’t appreciate being robbed. For $ 2.00, they’ve lost my business. It’s not even the two measly bucks, it’s the principle — you can’t change the price once I’ve eaten the food. I have no option to un-eat the food. Well not really. I know that nobody in management will likely read this or care. Just beware.

Great local place, it’s a good bar, with good bar food, owners always shake your hand, draws a good crowd for it’s themed nights. Jersey giveaways for football, karaōke and trivia each once a week. It’s not for everyone but I like it as it tends to be consistent, and not too fancy like some of the other local pubs.

Kind of an awkward setup, but draws a decent weekend crowd. Pool table is a plus. One of the better mount Kisco bars. They sometimes have live music on Fridays before midnight. Nothing crazy, usually just a guy with a guitar. Which is fine by me. Saturday nights they have a DJ which plays a lot of rap and dance music. A little loud for me. because im 85 years old.

I was in town last weekend when visiting family. We stopped in O’Connors for a couple of drinks and a bite to eat. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were offered to sit at a table or at the bar. I ordered a California Wrap and a mixed drink. What a pleasant surprise that the food and drinks were delicious. I am not big on giving pubs 5 stars, but this place is a diamond in the rough. The place was clean and welcoming. TVs were on, but music was playing at a level that was not interfering conversation. The menu may not have been extensive, but the food selection is diverse and the food is great! There is also a board with chef’s specials that has a great variety of meals. Service was great as well. Michelle was a lovely. Attentive, polite, funny, and she makes great drinks! If I am around next weekend I will make a visit to this pub to enjoy the excellent food, drinks and service. All in all– highly recommend.

I wandered into this restaurant while visiting a relative in the hospital on the Monday during the«storm of the century». I walked into O’Connors hoping to get a bite to eat that was not gross hospital food and a couple of drinks(yup, to ease the pain and because… the thirst). The bartender told me the cook had just left because of the driving ban. I was so disappointed because I was starving(literally if I shook my belly it would be like a pinball machine pinging around with one marble in it). I told her I was visiting family in hospital. Rachelle/Michele said comforting words I really appreciated and offered to cook any appetizer off the menu for us so we wouldn’t be hungry. How awesome is that?! There were at least 20 people there and she was running back and forth to tend to everyone and cook too. I liked the lay out of the restaurant and the fact it has a pool table. Signs show there is trivia night and karaōke night. Sounds like a place I would go to visit closer to home. My Podunk town needs a place like this. I stayed until after 8pm. I noticed another bartender came in. He was just as friendly and helpful as she was. The place got packed with customers and everyone was having a great time. A lot of people were eating and I saw both bartenders team up to cater to the customers as they were both serving drinks and running in and out of kitchen. I was more impressed with their willingness to keep people happy than anything else. I don’t know what the food would taste like cooked by the actual chef, but for the cool vibe and excellent employees, this place gets rave reviews from me.

I am very disappointed with my first visit and doubt if I will go back. I was there this past Monday while in town for business. This is the first time I have been to an Irish bar with a Spanish bartender. I am in no way prejudice but wasn’t accustomed to it. I can understand there might be a need and can accept that if they were more professional and kept the Irish theme in mind.. What I will never tolerate is the workers talking Spanish right in front of you. There was the female bartender and I presume the manager. Even when they put in order for a gentleman I was speaking with next to me they kept talking Spanish, not cool. Not only that the manager was on the phone right in front of us talking in Spanish. I had finished my drink and he was right in front of me and noticed but he did nothing. I even gave him the motion I was done and he just walked away. THENHEWALKEDOVERTOTHEPOOLTABLEANDSHOTPOOLWHILEHEWASWORKINGAND I WASWAITINGONSERVICE. During this time the bartender was somewhere in back and I was still waiting with no one behind bar to wait on me and close me out. I actually stepped outside to see if anybody even noticed and they did not. I had to call on phone and it rang many times to get bartender to wait on me to close me out. On top of that my bill was totaled incorrectly. I was not given an itemized bill but it seemed high so I asked how much my drink was. So I realized I was overcharged for the appetizer and the reason I ordered app was because of sign(right over register) that says all apps $ 6.00 during happy hour. She said she was new and did not even no this. I guess there isn’t much more that needs to be said.

The overall layout of this place is decent. They need to improve on their beer selection though.

Stopped in here at prime time on a Saturday night after a lot of good reviews from friends, but saw quite a wide variety of a crowd which could be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for. The place wasn’t very busy and was heavy in the guy to girl ratio. It was not what I was expecting from the feedback I had. I only stayed for one beer and split. I will give it another shot sometime down the road. It looked like the drink selection was good.

Came here for [another] round of drinks after sushi at Neo… and of course the guys ordered more food! We had shocktop apple whatever the seasonal one is(Dope good too!) with some cheese fries, coconut shrimp and calamari. I know, right after a ton of sushi. Oh well! Food came out fast and was damn good! Calamari was bomb and after realizing it was NOT onion rings bc someone was too drunk to remember what they ordered, if finally made sense. Every night they have a diff thing going on and Monday night it was pool league night so we couldnt get to the table. Instead we played a round of Cards Against Humanity in oe of the booths– its the apples to apples ultimate adult version, highly recommend it! The bartenders are straight up Irish and have the coolest accents and if they are faking, then they should be given an award bc they are great at it! Seriously tho, that one irish bartender guy was cute as all hell… Hit me up bro I’d come here again for sure maybe on trivia wednesday! It’s okay Joey… we’ll go dancing another night

Oconnors is a great bar for what it is. Beer, Sports, solid food selection, music, pool, darts. Can’t ask for much more from a townie-type bar. The scene is really a cross section of the area it serves, and you most definitely will see the good, the bad, and the ugly all in one place. The bartenders are friendly, the prices reasonable. May not be as fancy as some of the other spots in town, but I don’t think that is their goal. Overall I have a good time whenever I’m there, and that’s reason enough to come back.

I literally can’t ask for much more out of a place, except maybe a bigger menu, but what I ordered was really really good, so I guess that’s nitpicky. Came here during the day on a Friday for lunch after our first choice was closed. It’s a pretty new place in the area, so we decided to give it a go. They had a great selection of beer, including the now-standards(Sam Adams Boston, Sam Adams Seasonal, Blue Moon), and a great selection of NY State based micr-brews(Captain Lawrence, Ithaca, etc). I went with super basic fair – cheeseburger and fries. I really wasn’t expecting much, and perhaps because of(or maybe in spite of) this, I was really really impressed. The burger was thick(though could have still been a little bigger in my opinion), really really juicy, great flavor, just really solid. Not that best burger in Westchester, but definitely top 7. The fries were great too – shoe stringers with good seasoning, and really crunchy. I would have prefered sweet potato fries, but I didn’t even ask, because I just said«I’ll have the same thing» when giving my order instead of pursuing further, but I didn’t see them on the menu. The bar itself is really nice, and rumor has it you can’t get in on weekend night because it’s getting really popular, but stop by for lunch if you’re looking too avoid said supposed crowd. The bartender was a sweetheart too and gave a free shot to everyone sitting a tthe bar – how can you not love that?
