Management needs tobstep up their game here. Worst Baja Fresh I ever been to. Tables dirty, ran out of guacamole, sauce tubs empty… ordered a steak baja burrito, damn thing was half normal size and full of tomatoes with two pieces of meat in it. Horrible. Guys need to call ur colleagues in Cali and see how its done.

This food was absolutely awful. I don’t know how they can all their food fresh, or have a slogan of ‘eat well’ when they sell this garbage. Chipotle and pancheros has it right. Baja fresh is awful. Never again!

Four stars for the food. One star for the service. I have been to this chain from coast to coast and have always had a consistently good meal. But prices are rising and service is falling. I still enjoy it though because there seems to be a lack of Latin flavor in NJ.

My wife and I went to the Baja Fresh on Thursday, 8÷4÷2011 at 7:45PM, with my service dog. She wears a vest with patches that say«I am a service dog.» The man at the counter, who gave his name as Jose, said«no animals. Take her out.» I pointed out she is a registered service dog; he said he did not care, and ordered us to leave. I carry a copy of the federal law on service animals, and showed it to him. He pushed the paper away, and told me he would not read it. It’s right here: When I told him I would write to the Justice Department, he said to go ahead. I had an aneurysm which caused the worst stroke survivable, have severe asthma, and am legally disabled; I receive SSD, and do not drive. My wife does all the driving. We then went to Wegmans supermarket, which has prepared meals and an eating area; we spent $ 28 there, and were welcomed.

We finally tried this place out. The people there are very pleasant and the food is very fresh and delicious. Convenient hours of operation. I’ve tried a few dishes and they have always been great. It doesn’t take long to get your food either. You can also sit outside and eat. They have some tables with umbrellas. Good location. The different salsas rock and I really like the beef salad in the shell. Sad to say but this place is now CLOSED :-(

I do not go to Baja Fresh quite as often as I used to because I moved to an area where there isn’t one near home. However, I was at a hotel not far away from this Baja Fresh for the weekend and I had a coupon so I decided to take a friend there and try this place. I thought service was just fine. Portion sizes vary greatly and could be surprisingly small or large at a given price level. Perhaps there should be pictures to give us an idea of what to expect. The free chips and salsa bar are good bonuses. Otherwise, I’m not sure the food itself is all that spectacular.

Came here for an Burrito Ultimo Carnitas on a Saturday afternoon in February. Was impressed by the attentiveness of the cashier and manager as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant. Thank you for taking pride in keeping your restaurant clean!

Everything does seem to be much more fresh than any other place I’ve been to. However, everything seemed to taste bland. I do like the free chips and salsa bar but I couldn’t find anything that was spectacular. The prices are absolutely reasonable and portions are unbelievable. I do prefer Panchero’s but this place really is clean and has a great friendly staff.

although not as good as chipotle or panchero’s, the big plus is that baja fresh gives free chips and unlimited access to a salsa bar with 6 kinds of salsa. the service is friendly and very clean. the burritos are a good size, but a bit salty. the salad was fresh, but the mango dressing was pretty sour.

Mexican fast food like Taco Bell seems to be giving way to Mexican not-as-fast-but-still-pretty-quick food like Qdoba, Panchero, and Baja Fresh. On my recent visit to Baja Fresh I ordered the pork carnitas Baja Burrito. I liked how friendly my cashier was, and how he brought my order out to a table for me when it was ready(I got it to go, but had to wait a little while they made it), and the restaurant was definitely clean. Had I realized my burrito came with a handful of tortilla chips, I would have hit up the nifty little salsa bar they have next to the soda machine. My Baja Burrito was okay. The ingredients tasted fresh and had actual texture, unlike the inside of Taco Bell Burrito Supreme. Still, I prefer the Supreme, albeit less healthy and more mushy gushy inside.

I love this place. I get the Baja chicken burrito and the corn carnita tacos. Sooo good. I try to resist stopping in and keep driving. Not very easy to do when you are hungry. I end up there at least once every couple of weeks. Sometimes more. The people are friendly and the place is clean. The music is great too. Stop in and try them if you dare. I bet you end up stopping in again, and again, and again.
