We get there & it’s not busy tables are open & we are told we have to wait. We waited about 10 mins for tables that had no one in them! The girls at the front were not friendly, I think they were to busy with their own conversation then the customers. A waitress was in the way when we on our way to our table and I said excuse me n she rolled her eyes at me.(Not very nice when you have someone on crutches trying to pass you) The waitress we had was very soft spoken & not very friendly, she took forever to get us things. I asked the waitress for more French vanilla creamer she brought me hazelnut & I had to yell to call her back bc she ran off so quickly n tell her this isn’t what I wanted told her again & then I had to say the blue one bc she didn’t know which one was French vanilla. Idk why she didn’t know or understand me. My food did NOT come out hot. It wasn’t cold, but I think it had to of been sitting in the Window under the heat for at least 15 mins or more bc the plate was hot not the food. I just feel these people need to be retrained on friendliness, service & how to act!!! When we left there were about 5 families waiting & about 8 tables with no one in them. I don’t understand why people are waiting if all these tables are open. If the staff can’t handle being busy then hire new people!!! I will NEVER return to this restaurant again!

I really enjoyed this place. I took my son for his birthday to Coco Keys and this was close by the reviews kind of had me on edge but I am so glad we went. Their food was really good, the mozzarella sticks LORDY so yummmmmmy, and they were in this really cool zig zag shape. The mash potatoes and gravy LORDYYYYY so good! I had the grilled chicken club sandwich yum. My mom had the sunshine skillet, that was really good as well. You can’t go wrong with anything you get. We were 6 people and I swear we ate for less then $ 70 including tip. This place needs to be opened in NYC seriously! Definetely better then IHOP and much cheaper. I want to go back just for this place but that would be weird right?

I am a fan of Bob Evans in general as a friendly place to get healthy food(or unhealthy but tasty food) but this restaurant deserves special mention. Its staff is generally long-timers(we only are down a few times a year and see the same smiling faces year after year) who are especially focussed on customer service. There is never a problem with a substitution or a special request, and the few problems we have had were corrected without question and usually with a stop-by from the owner/manager to make sure they made it right. My only complaint is they are SO popular that you can’t get near the place on Sunday! :-)

Bob Evans is a friendly family restaurant that served very good food. I had the Wildfire Chicken Salad and it was excellent. The server was professional and quick and the manager came by to make sure everything was going well. I really felt like they cared about our dining experience and the food was prepared well. Everything was high quality and served fresh. I would recommend Bob Evans to anyone!

First time going into a Bob Evans — great server named Shaquille — very nice gluten free menu — food was great.

I only ordered take out for breakfast but the order and pick up process was convenient. We ordered assorted meals and everything turned out great! All utensils, napkins, and syrups were not forgotten in the bag. I would venture to go inside the restaurant if I had the chance.

I’m a fan of Bob Evans. But I feel like over the years the chain has not stayed consistent. When we walked in we weren’t greeted right away by anyone, typically there is someone standing there at the hostess stand to welcome you, and seat you but there was no one, and there were quite a few people that were standing around that appeared to be doing nothing but socializing. Now given they were quite busy, so the hostess could have been seating a table, but still to be greeted by someone would have been nice. When we did get greeted, we were told it would be about a 15 minute wait, and that it was. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious. When we go to our seat we were sitting for at least 5 min before we got someone to even come over and take our drink order, and when she came over she was moving so fast, kind of made us feel rushed as well. Since we had time to look over the menu while waiting for our waitress we knew what we wanted so ordered drinks and our food at the same time. Food came out in a timely fashion, hot and very well seasoned. I ordered the pot roast hash, meat was cooked well, got my egg cooked over easy, and that was cooked perfect as well. Waitress could have a been a little more tentative, came over occasionally to check on our table, but our water glasses did run empty and we had to ask her to refill them, same with the coffee.

This is my second time eating at this chain restaurant. My family and I ordered breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. The biscuits were light and fluffy and the eggs were cooked perfectly. When I am in the area again I will most definitely come back.

The dinner here was beyond phenomenal, however our waiter, who shall remain nameless, did not seem to care how we felt about the meal. I ordered the Chicken Club(grilled) and enjoyed it very much. The waiter checked on us once, out of the hour and a half we spent there. The waiter did not bring us any napkins, or even any straws when they delivered our drinks.

Does anyone tip to-go food? The first time I went there I left a two-dollar tip for to-go food and they did my order right, and I was satisfied. The second time I didn’t tip for to-go food, cuz sometimes I don’t tip to-go food and I usually tip guys less. I had the short cool-looking black guy w/the rad haircut. That time, they replaced the crêpe for pancakes, and hashbrowns for a fruit cup. I’m not sure if you need to tip a to-go order but next time I’ll tip a to-go order.

What’s not to like? I had dinner here when I had occasion to stay over night in lovely Mount Laurel. This restaurant is clean and bright and my burger was large and juicy. Free refills on the iced tea. I enjoyed my berry shortcake for dessert. My waitress was pleasant and efficient. This is a typical suburban type American chain concept that is executed well.

Disappointed. Omelette dripping with oil. So salty barely edible. Food factory where people have forgotten this stuff is intended to sustain and nourish, to be ingested with delight. 7:30 breakfast eggs and hot cakes barely warm. Would have been good if hot. Can’t figure out how it could have cooled that fast. However, very large large OH for $ 2.69.

First off the food isn’t as good as Perkins or IHOP. And I don’t even think they are great. The portions weren’t even as big. I tried this place for the first time this past Sunday. Our party of two waited 20 mins which was good for an after church crowd. But once we were seated it just went down hill. We sat there for 10 mins just waiting for our drink orders to be taken. We waited 34 mins for our food. With our waitress popping by here and there apologizing and making excuses for the wait. There was food sitting at the window going out on time everyone was being served but us. People were eating and leaving and we didn’t get our order. Finally got the order and it was tiny and unimpressive! Never again!

This Bob Evans has been newly remodeled and is bright and clean. Donna was my server and she was perfect! She knew just when to stop by and check on me, even with her zone full of customers. The food was fantastic! I had the Pot Roast open faced sandwich, and it was delicious! Everyone was very attentive, professional, and courteous. Met one of the Managers(Vincent) to express my dining experience, good guy, and seemed truly interested in the feedback from customers. We left each other with a handshake and smiles. I will be going back again soon.

Passing through the area we stopped for dinner with my Daughters 8th grade class. They quickly sat our group of 20+ and provided biscuits and rolls. Steaks were cooked properly and everyone received their meal in a timely manner. Great customer service, especially from Mike Graham(like the cracker!) he gets customer service and delivered it perfectly. — John

My first experience with a Bob Evans so I will go easy. I am not a huge fan of chain restaurants. This one had a down home feel despite being in New Jersey. I was heading south on the Turnpike when monsoon hit! Got into the Bob Evans just in time! Food was OK. Service could have been better. I can tell they really take care of their regulars in there. Shaun was also my servicer and was attentive up to a point. Once my food arrived I was on my own. Definitely saw some items that would be a great deal(sundaes!) if I lived in a small town and wanted to get out of the house this would be a destination.

4 stars for the fabulous service by Shaun 2 stars for the mediocre food that may have made my 9 year old sick. We stopped in — famished — and wear from a long day, at about 9PM on a Thursday night. The place was nearly empty so we got bright, cheerful service from Shaun — who is a lovely lady. She even decorated my kids hot cocoa with whipped cream. The restroom appeared clean but smelled horribly of old urine(Eew.). Normally this would be enough to give a place 1 or 2 stars — but Shaun’s service is carrying my 3 star overall rating. Stick to coffee and breakfast foods and you’ll be OK. Skip the greasy chicken strips(kids menu — a steal at $ 2.99 — but not if they make you sick), and also skip the pasta dishes.(Overuse of dried oregano.) My husband had a grilled chicken sandwhich which looked very good. If you ever read my other reviews, you may already know that I am not a fan of chain restaurants — but in a pinch this Bob Eveans will do. And hopefully Shaun won’t be there long — she’s studying nursing and is well suited for a care giving profession. She’s terrific!

We chose Bob Evans over our usual Cracker Barrel and Perkins, both nearby, and boy, did we regret it. The coffee had a funky aftertaste to it, and we both ordered steak and eggs with toast. The home fries were the frozen kind that Ore Ida makes(but they tasted freezer burnt) and the steak tasted and had the texture of being fast-thawed. We asked for medium: both of our steaks were well, well done and had no flavor whatsoever. The one thing that stands out is SALT… the amount of salt on the steak and the home fries made me ask for a glass of water, which I quickly chugged. It has been 5 hours, and I am still trying to drink water to recover from the salt overload. The Cracker Barrel and Perkins are so much better. Live and learn. We will never go back.

Went on a Sunday at noon. Had a short wait. But they were getting folks in and out pretty swiftly The waiter was very kind. He definitely was right for that position. Gives you space but let’s you know he is near to serve you. The food was good. My first time here. And I like the pancakes peter than Ihop’s. Great biscuits. The décor has a southern restaurant feel to it. A very good place to visit when traveling.
