The Ceramic Barn

I stopped by with my 4 month old daughter on a whim about a week before Mother’s Day 2014 to ask some questions and also in hopes of making an appt to make a MD gift for her grandmothers. There were other customers there but the staff was incredibly nice and helped us immediately. We were able to take advantage of my daughters nap — they helped me get 3 plates w footprints done, which came out GREAT. Thanks so much for helping me make these and for being so patient. Thanks even more for being so accommodating to a «walk in». — something I was not aware they would do. Highly recommended!!!

We were looking for something fun and hands on to do for vday and i stumbled upon this place on Unilocal.It only had 1 review so I went on to read their information and it mentioned wheel work. I called and spoke to Andrea, she was able to set us up for an evening of fun. I even found a Groupon the next day ($ 15 for $ 30 worth)! They are currently working on their website but their Facebook page is updated regularly.
I think i found a new hobby. We came here for some pottery wheel action. Our instructor, Colleen, was awesome. We each took turns on the wheel and she gave great directions, tips, and quickly jumped in to help when needed. She definitely made our experience fun. I can’t say enough about her. We worked with a total of 5 pounds of clay and was there for about an 1 and ½ and payed a total of $ 20. They closed 9pm that evening but I believe we left a little past 9:30. The staff was very accommodating. Colleen stated that it takes about 2 weeks for the clay to dry so we do have to return a second time to paint our creations and a third time after they have been fired up in the kiln. Keep an eye out for updates.

This place was awesome. Quiet clean, lots of selection and very accommodating. Planned a girls’ night here and brought our own snack and beverages and they gave us a private room. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the attentiveness of the staff and the overall atmosphere. Would definitely do again!
