Second time here! Last time was 7 months ago(only because we dont live close)! I got the nightly special(Filet with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach) it was sooo good! Chef Dave is so hospitable. Touched upon each table when we sat and after our meal came out! He truly cares!

Fantastic restaurant! BYOB quiet Italian restaurant tucked away in Mt Laurel Plaza. Staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. Food was delicious and it doesn’t break the bank. The kale salad is amazing with candied bacon and citrus as is the calamari and butternut squash soup. I had a veal and crabmeat special served with roast s asparagus and a lemon wine sauce-veal was tender and big lumps of crab meat! My wife had the steak served with Parmesan fries and a tomato salad-delicious as well. One of our friends had the gnocchi and actually cleared her plate which is something I have not seen her do in a decade of dining out! Dessert was Tiramisu, cannolis(2 in an order) and we also had a lemon poppyseed crime brulee. All were fresh and spectacular! Can’t wait to come back!

I’m not exactly sure where all the amazing reviews came from here. We have a table of five. We ordered the meatballs and calamari for an appetizer. The meatballs were so-so and the calamari just wasn’t even just okay. It was undercooked and just mediocre. One person ordered the $ 7 ceaser salad and it was the size of a bread plate and you could see thru to the bottom there was hardly anything there. It was just a normal Caesar, again nothing special. I ordered the bolognese it was just okay as well. Ravioli, gnocchi and veal with mushroom something, no one was particularly excited or impressed. No one said they would come back out of our party. Looking at previous reviews on Unilocal and Facebook, the service was okay. Our server is obviously newer to the serving world but she wasn’t awful and we didn’t get any attitude. The speed of the food was great and their was no wait. But again all and all nothing to exciting again.

I choose this place based on Unilocal reviews and information. The food was very good however the info says it’s good for kids which was a big factor in where we chose to eat. I assumed that good for kids meant there would be a kids menu. There was no kids menu but the staff was able to offer my child a side of pasta with meatballs. All of the staff was very polite and helpful and it was nice that there was live entertainment. I would go again but I would leave my child at home next time.

We enjoyed the food immensely and the entertainment was fabulous. It was so pleasant to enjoy a glass of wine(byob) and good food while listening to the amazing voice of the singer, Vic Rubino. The Caesar salad with anchovies was fresh and tasty. My lobster ravioli was perfectly done. Everyone at our table was pleased with their meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. We’ll be back!

We are locals and decided to give this place a shot. The experience was not great. We ordered the«Nonas meatballs», shared a ceasars salad, I had the special veal ragout special and my wife had the ricotta gnocchi. First, a nice basket of rolls, crisps and bread sticks arrived at the table. Being hungry I dug into a toasty roll. However, I was disappointed when I cut through the roll and discovered that the middle of the roll was frozen. I informed the waitress and she brought another. The problem is that the second batch was also frozen. The third batch wasn’t frozen but they weren’t very tasty either. When the meatball appetizer($ 9) arrived I started to dig in and realized that it was a frozen meatball that was over microwaved. They were very hot and hard. Three small meatballs on some polenta with some red gravy. Not good. I told the waitress and she apologized. Ceasars salad($ 7) arrived. Nothing special and pretty small with warm(microwaved as well) croutons. Wife liked them, I thought they were also hard. Entrees arrived. My ragout was good. Homemade pasta with a veal braised in tomatoes and herbs. Very good but not worth the $ 26 price tag. My wife’s gnocchi($ 16) were ok. Pomodoro sauce had a burnt garlic flavor and was pretty small. The total bill was $ 62 with no drinks and sub par food. After paying the bill, I asked to see the manager/owner. After waiting a few minutes without seeing the manger, I decided to leave. As we got to our car, the owner came running out. When I told him about the overlooked meatball and generally poor experience, he indicated that the meatballs were their best seller. He attempted to get us a gift card to come back but neither my wife nor I were willing to return. Very disappointed as this place appears to have potential. The homemade pasta is good and the menu is intriguing. I suspect that they are struggling and taking some shortcuts to survive.

If Unilocal had a «Negative» button and/or a «Thumbs Down» icon, I would totally use them both for this place. Giving them«1 Star» is being kind! A few weeks after it reopened as «Trattoria Figaro»(in the summer) I give it a try! First off a warning to anyone who LOVED«Stefano’s» for pizza, this is NOT a pizza place and in no way did they even make pizza(at least when we asked them back then we were told«No!») Place is always empty and«DJ» the waiter/greeter is very rude. When you walk in you will notice that they are trying to appear as an upscale Italian restaurant, after you; look at the menu, stay a bit, and actually receive your food, you will realize that is just not the case. Went once & will NEVER go back again! Horrible experience!

Amazing little Italian restaurant with daily specials. This is a BYOB restaurant, so bring your vino(store just down the street). The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Veal Spiedini and apple Jewish cake. Both amazing!

I thought this place was awesome. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and was really happy with both our meals! We started with the cheesesteak spring rolls which were delicious and juicy. They came with a chili dipping sauce :) For my entrée i had a special, sweet potato gnocchi in a gorgonzola sauce with grilled chicken. The gnocchis were homemade and you could tell my presentation and the first bite. Soooo soo good, not overwhelming with gorgonzola. My boyfriend had the NY strip steak which was nicely seasoned but our favorites were the side of cherry tomatoes… Really seasoned well, and the rosemary french fries were really nice and different. We wish we saved room for dessert, the pumpkin cheesecake sounded really good. This place has awesome sauces for dipping and to compliment the main dishes! Would love to try more! This place is a hidden gem! Must try! We will be back! Luckily I work at a hotel and can recommend it to hundreds of people :)

Leaning more towards 4.5 stars. Food was very flavorful and nicely portioned. Menu offers a wide variety for all appetites and preferences. Highly recommend anything seafood. Calamari app was tender and flavorful. Loved the clams casino pizza. Even if you order half the menu, as we did, leave room for dessert. The pumpkin gingernsnap and ricotta olive oil cakes were favorites. Service was very friendly, if a bit slow at times. Very accomodating to all of our requests. We will definitely return again for dinner and cannot wait to try brunch.

Fabulous fabulous fabulous dinner. Had delicious gnocchi and my friends had penne vodka and bolognese and said it was great. The owners and staff are wonderful. Look forward to trying their other specialties. We listened to great music by Vic Rubino. What a great restaurant. I cannot wait to go back.

Had dinner here tonite with my friend and what a fantastic meal! We started with the fried calamari… amazing. Well fried and great tomato marinara. I had the crab cakes and they were excellent… back fin meat but little filler. My friend had a pizza and raved about the crust… our server was actually a pastry chef there and told us she worked hard to perfect the pizza crust. The bill was not at all outrageous… highly recommend this place! By the way it’s byob but they had a nice selection of drink options

Wow!!! Amazing home made food and great service– better than the food I had in Italy! Mussels marinara, roasted long hot peppers, shrimp fra diablos, banana pudding with salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream! I want to eat here everyday!

Trattoria Figaro was horrible. They are trying to be an upscale Italian restaurant and they are not. We were there having lunch and all we could here were the owners arguing. We will definitely NOT go back.

Stopped for lunch and was well taken care of by DJ. Light and fluffy gnocchi mmmmmm and grilled chicken roasted red pepper sandwich. They are in the former Stefanos space. The brunch menu looks amazing will be back soon
