Don’t try it! It took 3 hours for my hair dresser to highlight and cut my hair. Has never taken so long in my life. my hair is short. It cost $ 185, way overpriced! Everyone was friendly but it wasn’t worth a second visit.

Madi is a true artist. I have had the hardest time finding a hair stylist in the Charleston area that will actually do what I want. Madi not only understood the look I was going for, but she also had the talent to execute it. She created the subtle ombré color I wanted using balayage. She took her time with my thick long hair and I couldn’t have asked for a better finished product. Go see Madi at Alexandria’s if you want your hair to look its best.

I have lived in Charleston for about 13 years and have tried numerous salons, but my favorite is Alexandria’s Salon and Spa. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. They offer five star service every time! The stylists always meet and exceed the expectations of the clients. Every visit is a success, I always walk out satisfied. I have recommended this salon to others and they too have always been very happy with the results
I have been going to Alex (the owner) for years and always leave looking fabulous! Alex listens to her clients and makes sure they are happy with the final product. She truly is a talented stylist and I always enjoy my appointments. I’m looking forward to my next appointment!

I highly recommend this salon and spa! I most recently had my hair and make-​up done here for my wedding. A few days before my wedding, the hair stylist who was supposed to do my hair was suddenly unavailable (not the fault of the salon). The mother of the salon owner spoke with me to break the news. With all the stress of the wedding, I was upset; however, she offered to have my hair done by another stylist and to pay for it, due to the inconvenience. Another stylist ended up doing my hair — and she did a perfect job! She did my hair exactly the way I wanted it. I couldn’t have been happier. My bridesmaid also had her hair done there too, and it looked awesome. We also had our make-​up done here. The make-​up artist did a wonderful job — the make-​up was classy — not overdone — just enough so I still looked like myself, but prettier.
I have also received 2 pedicures here — very relaxing. You get a private room, low-​lit with a massage chair. I have had one manicure, which turned out perfect. I have also had my eyebrows waxed, which turned out great.
Overall, the salon is wonderful. Upscale with a relaxed atmosphere. And they offer you free beverages during your service, which is a nice touch. They have wonderful customer service, and genuinely care about their clients. I would definitely recommend Alexandria’s for both their salon and spa services!

Jenna at Alexandria’s does an amazing color job! The first time I went in there I told her to do whatever she wanted and I walked out with the best hair color I’ve ever had. The salon has a great vibe and the prices are reasonable so I would highly recommend the salon to everyone!!!

Went in last Saturday to see Allison, she was AMAZING! I had long hair and we cut off a good amount and it looks great, along with some great highlights!!! Thanks Allison! :-)
Only reason I did not give 5 stars was because of my first 2 phone calls, I had a woman at the front deks who was difficult to work with/​unhelpful.

Went to Alexandria’s based on the 2 Unilocal reviews — -called on a Monday – couldn’t believe they were even open! Both my husband and I got appointments with Allison Benn — we LOVED what she did. She listened to both us — and cut our hair they way we asked. We both have curly hair – and having curly hair herself — she knew exactly what she was doing.
Finally — after searching for years… we’ve found someone who we will refer, as well as who we will return too!
Alexandria’s atmosphere is great as well — everyone was very friendly.

Tried this spa for the first time today. It’s a small quaint place but the customer service and ambiance was excellent. The wifey got the super duper package (?) that included a «signature» 90 minute Facial, Spa manicure and pedicure, 90 minute Swedish Massage, and a shampoo with blow dry. I received whatever the «male special» was called which comprised the «Gentleman’s facial» and a 90 minute therapeutic back treatment massage.
Overall, the experience was relaxing and the staff was incredible. We’ll probably make it a monthly ritual.
