This place is great! Had a blast with some girlfriends painting a Charleston-inspired Ravenel Sunset. The instructors were accommodating, the owner came in to check in with the group to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves, and they are incredibly relaxed about bringing your own wine/snacks. They even have cups, koozies, bottle openers for you! Most of the time places like these have strict rules about ordering their alcohol, but it was really nice that they didn’t push it. However, if you forget to bring some wine, they do have well-priced wine for purchase. This alone makes me want to come back! Also, I want to attempt to paint the other Charleston paintings :)

This was my first time doing a painting class. I purchased seats for my mom’s birthday present, and it was an absolutely perfect gift. Neither of us is particularly talented artistically, and I think we were both a little bit nervous. The class was instructed by Meghan, and she did such a nice job putting us at ease, making us feel welcome, and encouraging us along the process. When we were done we couldn’t believe how well our paintings turned out!(And it was fascinating to see how different everyone’s paintings turned out during the same class!) We brought a bottle of wine with us and had such a nice evening together. We’ll be taking another class as soon as we can!

What a fantastic way to spend a Friday night. The concept is so well thought out and relaxing. Perfect way to end a week of vacation in best beach town on the East Coast. Thank you Fear No Easel for such a fun night!

I am almost not willing to give out this tip for fear that they their secret will be out, but if you are looking for a Valentine’s Day activity for your an your hunny, this is the place to go. On Valentine’s Day, they did a special couples double canvas paint which the often do even when it is not Valentines Day. They also had a really nice spread of heavy hors d’œuvre like shrimp and grits, sesame crusted seared tuna, chocolate covered strawberries, cheese and crackers, some other fruits, and a few other snacks. Plus you each got a complimentary glass of wine and a stemless wine glass to keep. It was AWESOME! The owners are awesome fun people, really encouraging and our artist was fun and engaging. He didn’t go too fast and gave good clear instructions that make even the most novice painter leave with something they are proud of. It was a really memorable experience and I can’t wait to go back.

Love this place! As an avid crafter, I was not sure what to expect, but was very pleasantly surprised. The location was easy to find and parking was convenient. Walking in the door we were greeted and offered a beverage. My date and I chose seats with a great view of the artist and the projection screen showing her work up close. The artist, a college student, was a talented artist and a great teacher. Step by step she showed us how to complete our painting. In between steps they played music and she and the assistant would walk around making sure everyone was doing ok. Whether I needed help painting, fresh water or another beverage they were there to assist. I have already, and will continue to recommend this place to anyone. This is a great idea for dates, family nights, private parties or a night out with a group of friends. After one class you will Fear No easel!

What a great concept! We had so much fun and after a bottle or two of wine, we knew the folks around us and had a blast. The classes are easy to follow and my masterpiece is now hanging in my mom’s house(I know. So gay. Lesbians love their momma’s! Lol) It inspired me to try to paint at home. We’ll see how that goes. Fear no Easley is something every woman should try.(sorry. Not one guy there)

Damn. I hate to give out five stars so easily, but this was simply fantastic. The staff was super friendly, the artist was very understanding when we needed help, and they sold refreshments(including wine and beer!) if you get thirsty during your work. This was so much fun and I can’t wait to do it again… I was also pretty surprised with my painting… I could paint!!! And it looked good, I swear!!! I mean, of course when I’m rich and famous, I’ll be sure to give due credit to the folks at Fear No Easel!

Had a great time, went with a group from work for a Team Build. We sat around a long table with a set of brushes and our own canvas and took step by step direction. And they keep your wine glasses and beers full! Even for a poor artistic person like myself, this was fun and my painting turned out well enough to hang in my house!

Wow! I loved this place so much that I felt the need to post a review. I stumbled upon this place while having drinks at the pub across the street. It is located on a small street near the Target shopping center so I have never noticed it before. After having drinks, we noticed lights across the street and my friends and I walked over to see what the people were doing. They were all being taught to paint the same picture, drinking wine, and looked to be having a grand time! I had heard of places like this before but I never actually tried it until now. Anyone, even people who don’t paint, can join this class. You go on the website, look at the calendar and pick a painting you would like to paint and then pay for your one day ticket and show up and paint. Drinking wine(or beer) really helps to relax you as you paint. They play music inbetween instruction so you can chat and be social. Everyone was really nice and encouraging. It really gives you that boost of confidence you need to enjoy painting. I have been once with my friends and once by myself but I also think it would make a great date night. I can’t wait to go back!
