Harris Teeter

Average store. Difficult time navigating through aisles when employees are pushing around huge carts and shopping for on-​line orders. Rarely enough registers open. Good luck finding someone at the customer service counter. Open 24hrs which is a positive. Will B. is always friendly and apologetic for long checkout lines. One suggestion… when checkout lines are long please open up the self checkout lanes. It isn’t rocket science.

This place had great food and was FRESH. Open late — satisfied my need for a late meal without having to get fast food.

Rarely give… 5 stars… nowhere else to go…
but the meat market rules… we ordered a 10 lb prime rib for Christmas dinner… and man was it like butter…
Thanks guys for always taking care of us… going the extra mile… many places these days customer service suck… not here… good training… good folks… kudos

Love this local Harris Teeter. Everything I need within a mile. Staff are friendly & very helpful. Of course the Starbucks within is too easy! Love the International Food Section which has a good selection of Irish & British Favorites not just Mexican! Good deals in wines

I’ve been shopping here ever since it opened, and I’m a loyal shopper for multiple reasons. First the location is good, right off hwy 41 in Mt. Pleasant. Second the overall store set up is ideal, with all the perishable departments right near the entrance. I find the produce department is large, has a great selection, and well run with a large friendly staff always working. The deli & bakery are also well staffed with friendly staff. Then meat department, the staff here are just waiting to help, greet me every time and I find the seafood selection is diverse and always fresh. Rest of the store is good with a standard setup, good selection, decent prices, and well stocked. I also use the pharmacy and get great service here, especially by Dan. The checkouts are usually well staffed during busy times like Saturday and most other peak periods. They react to lines and call backup support. Occasionally I’ve encountered pricing errors at the register, and when I call it out they promptly correct it. Most cashiers are young locals of the neighborhood, which Harris Teeter then does a good job hiring and training them. Today I had Derrick ring me up, he was very friendly, fast and efficient and had me on my way in a timely manner. In case you have a coffee craving, don’t miss the Starbucks kiosk near the exit. I like Harris Teeter, and appreciate the good service this store performs in all areas.

I’m all about customer service. I love the breakfast sandwich on a bagel served at Harris Teeter, but I rarely get one because of the negativity one of their long time employee always displays. It’s just to customers as I have seen her light up on interactions with other employees.
She obviously doesn’t like her customers and because of that she doesn’t like her job, yet she doesn’t quit to find a job of her dreams. I see that she has so much potential, but she is restricting herself to working in entry-​level position. Sad really.

I love this HT. I just wish it was the HT on my way home. I’ve never had a negative interaction with any of the employees here. I use their pharmacy here too and they are a 24 hour store so if we have a late night emergency, this is the first place we check. I just subtract 1 star because with the amount of wine they have at this store, there are only about 10 bottles in there I’d actually drink. A lot of overly priced or low shelf type of stuff.

This location has quickly become one of my favorite Harris Teeter stores to shop at. It’s clean, the staff is friendly, carries a wide variety of groceries, has some of the freshest produce in town, and it even has a Starbucks kiosk in there.
Located off Highway 41 across from the Dunes West/​Park West neighborhood and next to the Rivertowne neighborhood it is in a very convenient central location and it is easy to get into and out of the parking lot; which also has dedicated parking spots for golf carts.
I have searched the Mt. Pleasant/​Charleston area up and down for a place (other than the farmers markets) that has a variety of fresh produce; and have finally found a place. This Harris Teeter store location has some of the best produce of chain grocery stores in the area.
This store also has a great meat department, seafood department, and bakery /​deli; all of that which makes up a great grocery store.
Other than just having great groceries and a Starbucks this location also has a great staff. Every time I visit this store the staff is super friendly and helpful; going out of their way to help find the items you need.

This is a great grocery. It’s always clean, the staff are friendly, and they always have weekly specials. I usually just stick the the specials though be cause their full priced items are too expensive for what your getting. They have a very good salad bar as well. I also like that they have the self check outs. So quick and easy to run in for a few items and be right back out.

This is «My» Harris Teeter… aka…The Teeter.
It is always clean, pretty darn fast to get you checked out, solid inventory, very friendly staff, and solid produce that isn’t old or insanely priced.
They usually have good deals that mean something — not like Target where it’s like $ 2 off if you buy two bulk packages of 100 rolls of toilet paper. Da fuck Target… that ain’t a deal.
Anywho…I love this particular location!
