I see why Julius receives so many 5 star ratings… they go way above and beyond. I was a first time customer and needed a wedding gown altered in a hurry. They immediately put me at ease and assured me they could help. Not only did they make me feel like a long time customer, but like their only customer (which I can assure you I’m not!). They did an excellent job in an exceptionally short amount of time. Way to operate a business! Great quality and great service. As long as they are there, they will have my business and I will always refer people to them.

I go to Julius Dry Cleaners for many of my clothing that I would consider delicate such as thin sweaters that can only be dry cleaned. They do a great job and if you ask them to do something a particular way, they will do so.

Fantastic quality and service, both for dry cleaning and for alterations. Completely reliable and just do wonderful work. I use Julius on at least a biweekly basis because of my work and thank goodness they are there — old world quality and service from times gone by. They treat you like family.

I can’t say enough about this business. They are perfectionists and ensure your garment is altered perfectly. Also they are very quick. I had two gowns that needed to be hemmed in a week. They we ready in 4 days and were perfect!

I took my new suit here to get it tailored. They were extremely helpful, accommodating, and did a beautiful job. Not to mention I had a tight deadline in which I needed the alterations done and they finished with time to spare. Whether you need alterations or cleaning done, I’d definitely recommend this place.

Excellent work with my wedding dress! Very quick turnaround, and super friendly service! I needed alterations to the bust/​shoulders of my wedding dress… Took it in on a Friday, and it was ready the following Tuesday! Great quality and it looks like the dress was made for me now!

The tailoring is great. The service is great. The owners are great. Awesome place. After dealing with some other tailors in the Mount Pleasant area, I was prepared for the usual BS — ridiculous turn-​around times, stupid-​long advance notice requirements, poor quality tailoring. Things that I used to take for granted in New York (why does no one do 1-​hour dry cleaning or alterations here? It’s not hard!)
Julius gets it, though. I brought a suit in for alteration a week before I had to attend a wedding, and they got it done early. Like, in a few days. With no rush charge.
If only it wasn’t so far out of the way. Worth the drive, though.

I had to order a bridesmaid dress from California for a wedding in LA, and even though I sent in my measurements AND told them to send me a size too big (because my husband and I were going to start trying to get pregnant shortly before the wedding) the dress arrived two weeks before the wedding about two sizes too small. Thank goodness Julius alterations was the first to return my calls/​emails. They took the impossible job and poorly made dress and completely fixed it. Marty was excellent to work with and the seamstress did an incredible job. I highly recommend them, especially for challenging projects!
