Juve Salon Studio

Highly recommend this salon! I was looking for a hair salon after moving here last summer. Tammy did a wonderful job on my hair and everyone is so friendly. Will definitely be back!

I have only lived in the area for less than a year and have been to four salons. Juve is by far the best salon in the area. Whitney is very talented stylist. Love my hair cut and blow-​dry. Check it out you will not be disappointed

I made a last minute appointment for corrective color at Juve Salon as a last minute resort. I had made the terrible naïve mistake of dying my hair Manic Panic blue a few short months prior to my wedding. I was under the impression it would wash out of my naturally blonde hair and boy was I wrong. My wedding was just 3 days away and my hair had turned an array of blue, pink, and purple. It looked terrible. Tammy and DeAnna were AHMAZING and after almost 7 hours of processing (mind you this was a last minute appointment), I left with the beautiful ombré platinum blonde hair that faded into a lovely baby pink. To salvage my ends from the harsh bleaching, they came up with the amazing idea to keep the pink the blue had faded into and create an ombré effect which was perfect because my wedding dress faded into a subtle light pink at the bottom. It is so apparent in the quality of their work that they truly love what they do. I am so grateful to Tammy and DeAnna for going above and beyond to give me a color I felt beautiful and confident with on my wedding day. They are truly amazing!

I went pixie for the first time, and Tasha did a great job! Salon is hidden in an appliance store but cute setup and stylists are super nice! Definitely recommend this place!

I moved to charlesTon about a year ago and was desperate to find someone to do my hair! Of course, I followed Unilocal and found this gem. Everyone is so friendly… I love the vibe between these old friends. Tasha does my hair and she does a great job listening to me and coloring my black hair perfectly. I’ve also gotten a blow out from Deanna and my hair looked fabulous! Definitely recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed with any one of them!

I have recently become a part-​time resident of Charleston and while in town last month I was desperate for a haircut. I also chose this salon based on the reviews. I made an appointment with Whitney and I was very pleased. I love how she smoothed out my thick, frizzy hair. She also recommended letting my short layers grow out to get some weight to my hair to get rid of the short «frizzies.»
Whitney is so down-​to-​earth and friendly. I will definitely go back!

I was in town for a wedding and since I’m not that great at doingmy own hair I made am appointment at Juve. I only wanted my hair washed and blown out. When I arrrived I met DeAnna and we got started right away. She had alot of products to help volumize and smooth may hair, she explained each one. I have alot of hair, but I was only there for one hour which worked out perfect. I would recommend if you’re in the area!

So this may be a bit biased on my part, but I can walk to this salon from my house, which is a HUGE plus. Also a huge plus? It’s CONNECTED to Sesame Burger; the best sandwich place in the area! Can we say haircut and a beer? Bingo!
I am new to the area, so I picked this place based on the reviews. I chose Whitney also because of the reviews that specifically mentioned her. Whitney will not steer you wrong, people! At risk of making Whitney work 12+ hour shifts because she’s going to get so popular, I would like to sing Whitney’s praises! Whitney was friendly, considerate, meticulous and creative. She had some decisive ideas regarding my cut and styled my hair with ease and assurance. The outcome was beautiful, edgy and kind of boho chic. I love it! As Whitney and I ended up gabbing, the cut took longer than I had anticipated, and it began to run up against my next appointment. Whitney actually drove me to where I needed to go afterwards, since I had walked to the salon — WOW! Can we talk about above and beyond service?
Based on what I saw from the other stylists, I don’t think you can go wrong here — but if you’re looking for someone who will listen to you and put care and attention into your style, Whitney is the woman for you!

Beautiful salon, with super friendly ladies. Whitney does a great job, even got my husband to come and get a new style. I just moved from out of state and were so glad to find a great place to get a fresh cut & color. Next on the list here is a facial with Tammy.

I decided to change up my hair length after several years of pretty long hair… I just moved to Charleston and wasn’t sure where to go. I followed the Unilocal Brick Road and found Juve, and I am super happy I did!
I made an appointment with Whitney, and she was awesome! She did such a great job and made me feel very comfortable with chopping my hair off. I’m looking forward to going back to her for color next time!
The salon itself is a really neat loft above the Plugz Appliance Center. I too thought I was lost when I walked in through the back and stumbled upon a bunch of ovens, but then I remembered a review that mentioned to just keep walking past them, and I found the stairs!
Btw– the awesome reclaimed wood mirrors? They made them!

I desperately needed to find a salon after moving to Charleston but was very anxious about trying someplace new. I had a haircut with Tessa and she did a great job – she took her time and asked lots of questions and gave me a great haircut. I went back a week later for color and highlights and had another great experience. I highly recommend Juve and Tessa!
Just to update-​unfortunately Tessa is no longer at this salon, but I have had two haircuts/​color with Deanna and she is also excellent. She is very thorough and asked lots of questions to get my hair the way I like it. Everyone in the salon is very friendly and welcoming. (6÷8÷2015)

The ladies at this place are all awesome! We moved from Germany to Summerville and I drive all the way down to Mt. Pleasant to get my hair done from DeAnna. She is amazing in trimming and coloring my hair. Most of the time I have specific and special color ideas and it always turns out the way I wanted it to be! I also like the welcoming atmosphere of the salon and it’s always a pleasure to chat with the ladies ;-)

Today I had an outstanding appointment at Juve Salon for a blowout. My stylist Tasha handled my thick hair with great easy. When I arrived at the party everyone was comment how fabulous my hair looked. I will be back again for another blowout with Tasha. Loved it!

Just had a highlight and cut with Tessa, she did an amazing job and a really nice and relaxing experience. I’ve received many compliments and I really appreciated her having me back when my hair was dry so she could do any touch ups to the cut. I’m really pleased with how it turned out and have and will continue to recommend people to her. Thanks Tessa :)

Beautiful little studio inside of Plugz, up in a loft. Great, sweet, caring staff. I LOVED Whitney! She went above and beyond for my hair cut experience for a great price ($ 40). I haven’t had a scalp massage like that in years, either.

Just moved to Mount Pleasant and happy to say I’ve found my new hair salon! Tammy was so great. She is so personable and friendly and had great advice to care for my hair. I haven’t had a trim in a while and really needed some layers and a new shape, and Tammy listened, asked how I liked everything along the way, and my hair turned out great.
Great price too. Also, very cool location!

I just moved to Mount Pleasant about a month ago and I needed a haircut desperately. I was given one of the best haircuts I’ve ever received. Whitney was awesome and super personable. On top of all that, she was very accommodating! She came in at 8am so I wouldn’t miss my flight later that morning. I have zero complaints. Looking forward to my next haircut in July!

Juve Salon Studios is one of the many hidden oasis’ in Mt. Pleasant, tucked away in a super cool loft nextdoor, upstairs from Sesame Burgers (yum). The studio is full service with ladies and mens hair, facials, bridal hair & making, waxing (all kinds, even the scary ones) and more. With huge floor length mirrors surrounded by 12″ reclaimed wood frames, blow dryers that hang from the ceilings, cement counter tops, rope hung natural wood shelves and bright white club chairs the studio has a high energy industrial look combined with a chill coastal feel. Take cool atmosphere and add great service & raw talent, and I’m happy, especially since Tammy the owner and I go way back. I found Tammy at another reputable spa in Mt. Pleasant long before ‘juve-​was-​juve’. She was the only person I’d been to in my life that didn’t leave racing stripes on my sensitive skin after waxing. I became a loyal client from that day forward for all my skincare and facial waxing necessities. I was super stoked to find out that Tammy had been to school for hair and had the notion to create Juve; a full service salon. I dig this place, I would highly recommend Juve Salon Studio to ladies and gents alike for any and all of your hair, waxing and skincare needs. PARKING TIP: I prefer parking behind the building. Look for the glass door with Juve Salon Logo. When you walk through the second door and see appliances, don’t worry, you’re in the right place. Look for the stair case next to the sales desk at the appliance center. Climb the stairs and you’ve arrived.
