A-OK. Stopped in for a beverage and a bite really just to check the place out since we’ve seen it several times, but never been in. Several good beers on tap and a very nice selection of a wide variety and price range of wines. Our server helped with wine recommendations and the choices were very good. The acoustics were not so good and although there were only maybe 6 customers in there at the time, there seemed to be a lot of echoes going on. Perhaps some fabric on the walls wold help. The wine prices seemed a bit high for a Mount P strip mall — although it was very good.

Big ups to Uncorked, as I always leave happy. The staff are so helpful and always willing to provide recommendations based on preferences — I do adore this. If it’s crowded, I’m not a big fan, because I want to sit at the bar and get the personal service — which you miss out on when sitting at a table, as it might be a little more difficult to get the attention of your server from there. The atmosphere is perfect though, dimly lit, and if they have live music I love it even more. Sold.

What a great place to sit back and enjoy a nice glass of wine. My wife and I go here as much as we can. We absolutely love the people that work there. They are friendly, knowledgable and not pretentious at all. This is not one of those high-brow, over the top wine bars. It is beautifully appointed and looks high scale but once you walk in and are greeted by this terrific staff any anxiety melts away. In fact, melting away is exactly what you do here. Whether you are tasting several wines, having a glass of your favorite or one suggested by the staff, sampling the cheeses or chocolates you just could not care at all about what is happening outside the doors. I would highly recommend this wine bar to all — novice to professional wine drinker.

I definitely like this place. We went in really early on Friday, like 4:45 p.m. and it was empty. We sat down, ordered some wine and the jalapeño/bacon mac and chee. The wine was good, the lowest you’ll get a glass for is $ 6. There is an excellent selection — you’ll be able to find something you’ll enjoy. The mac and chee was NOT a super cheesy event — it was almost like a warm pasta salad tossed with a thin cheese coating, which I very much enjoyed. If you’re looking for a bubbling, rich vat of cholesterol, this is not the mac and chee for you. I enjoyed it, the bacon could have been crispier. They have quite a nice selection of $ 7 small bites and a very solid cheese offering. I really liked the ambiance, very relaxed. The bartender could be *too* relaxed for some if you find profanity offensive. I obviously don’t care, but if you do, might need to cover your ears.
