Subway

This is a big subway with lots of seating room, pretty clean from what I observed in the short time I was in. Stopped in around 12:30 in the afternoon on a Tuesday and there were several businessmen sitting to have lunch. There was only one person on line in front of me but the worker was able to assist us simultaneously, making the entire process go smoothly and quickly. The man making my sub was not friendly, more robotic. I got a foot long wheat sub and chose the oven roasted chicken. The consistency of this chicken grosses me out slightly, it’s just unlike any chicken texture I’ve had but this is fast food so I tried not to think too much into it. I figured if I loaded the sandwich with toppings, it would hinder the texture. I asked for lettuce and the guy put on a tiny handful of lettuce. Next, I asked for red onion and was given three teeny tiny shreds of onion, same stinginess with the banana peppers. I was very disappointed and felt gypped. Topped my sandwich off with honey mustard and again, the thinnest line was made on the sandwich. My sandwich came to $ 7. It definitely filled me up and hit the spot but it needed more substance.

I don’t know what happened here, but the quality and service has dropped drastically! The cold cuts look slimy and tastes funny. I see new faces and the old ones are gone. Management needs to check the dates of their inventory. I wont be coming here anymore.

This Subway is in a shopping plaza sort of tucked in the corner; so much so I almost missed it!
It’s pretty nice inside, lots of seating. I’ve actually never seen soft-​backed booth seating, but they had it.
There was no line and everything looked well kept up and I got my food quickly.
Now why it got 2 stars…
I get flat bread nearly all the time (I love it!) and one Subway employee told me that they HAVE to toast it, and yet in this Subway I felt odd when the employee didn’t toast it – first time ever — so I asked him to toast it.
He was then a bit skimpy on the toppings, but I was so hungry after a full day of house hunting that I just overlooked it, but this was definitely a frowny-​face moment.
While I was eating my sandwhich, I could really TASTE the turkey… I know that sounds odd, but you know how when you’ve left turkey out for a little bit and it tastes a bit stronger than it would if it was cold? Yea. I didn’t think anything about it UNTIL my ass was sitting on the toilet… yea (but this wasn’t until a few hours after).
Lastly while I was in Subway I went to the bathroom to wash my hands (sweet onion sauce is the bomb, but messy). I was disturbed by the bathroom, so much so that I took some pictures with my iPhone and was going to upload them, but sadly it doesn’t show the detail. It just really needed cleaning… really…
Anywho, it was OK I suppose, and I won’t attribute the upset stomach to Subway, but I don’t know what else would have done it.
If my experience improves I’ll update this review.
