Dunkin’ Donuts

Horrible service by someone who claimed to be the manager but refused to give me his name. He then told me that his boss was on vacation and refused to give me his name either but to tell them that he was the only «boy» working. He had a hard time understanding English and seemed irritated while I was placing my order. He actually told me to «hurry up» when I asked if they can put veggie cream cheese on my bagel. I’ve never been treated so rudely by a cashier who clearly doesn’t know anything about food service. I’ve also never Unilocaled before today, but thought, if I were the owner I would want to know how my paying customers were being treated. (drive-​thru on Sunday 11÷29− 12:30pm — cashier: the only «boy» working)

This place has horrible customer service and can’t even manage to get a order right. I have gone here a couple times and every time something is wrong. Also the drive thru takes forever!

I attempted to provide feedback via the website printed on the receipt, but it kept failing, so Unilocal is next best option.
Pulled up and the drive thru was five cars deep. Took over 15 mins just to get up to the speaker. The employee taking the order was pleasant, but slow. Was not told my total just to pull through.
Get to the window and the employee filling the order didn’t even acknowledge me. She didn’t state to total, I just had to assume the LED readout was accurate. Without using words she extended a drink carrier and then left her hand extended for me to pay. After transaction was complete not even a thank you or anything.
Something was bitter in this morning’s coffee!

Two years ago, I would have rated this Dunkin Donuts with 5 stars. Since then the service has gone way downhill. I used to be a regular and would go there for breakfast every time I worked from home (1 – 2 times a week). Then one day I ordered a black coffee, drove home, took a sip, and it was full of cream. The next time I went there (a week later), my black coffee was loaded with sugar. The next time (I’m not making this up) I pulled over and checked the cup. Sure enough my black coffee (repeated to me as black and said black on my receipt) was brown with cream. I drove back around and exchanged it. At that point I quit going for breakfast and haven’t gone for 3 months. The burbs are saturated with Dunk in Donuts so it’s not hard to find another one.
Honestly how hard is BLACK COFFEE?
Another time I was in there with my daughter (a month or two before they forgot how to make black coffee) and we ordered some ice cream. I swear the teenaged girl behind the counter was high. I just shook my head.

This morning I went through the drive through of this Dunkin Donuts on my way to the airport. There was only one car in front of me in line. They were fast. The lady at the window was very pleasant, she made me smile. The coffee was great. The donuts was just alright, not the freshest.

Wow… the worst dunkin donuts coffee I have ever had in my life. Staff is lazy and goofs around. this was disappointing! I was going to have em make me a new one but by the looks of it they would do something to my coffee or just make it worse…
Update. went back in… lol got mine remade. still taste like shit. ahhh can’t win today =[

Horrid dunkin donuts. It looks great and has fresh donuts, but the service I would give a 1/​10, and if I could fire the employees I would.

The drive-​through is painfully slow. The donuts are not always fresh. The attached 31 Flavors does not actually have 31 flavors of ice cream on hand. Service is hit or miss.
The 24-​hour drive-​through is the main draw here. I mean, they do sell donuts AND ice cream, and sometimes you realize you need one of these things (if not both) only after you’ve changed into non-​matching pajamas for the night. On such an occasion, a trip here is pretty much the only option that leaves you a shred of dignity.

This has to be one of the worst DDs I’ve been to. My favorite drink is a coffee coolata from there & almost every single time I’ve gone there the machine is either broken or they’re cleaning it. I would not recommend going there. The only reason I ever went was because it was convenient in location.

I’ve been to several DD’s and this is one of the better ones. They have quick and typically efficient service. The employees are really personable and helpful when needed. I don’t really have any complaints other than the drive through can be a bit long in the mornings on my way to work.

Will NEVER go back again!!!
Went in for ice cream tonight … tables were wiped down with Chlorox bleach, puddles of bleach still on the table. Both my kids ruined brand new shirts. Brought it to the employees attention … she offered me free food. Says she had to stop in the middle of cleaning tables to help clients … that’s why they were still wet. However, we were the ONLY clients in the store. Guy who scooped our ice cream was yawning while we were deciding, so he was clearly not too busy to wipe down tables. Have been home for over an hour now … any skin that touched the tables stings and smells of Chlorox bleach!!!
COMPLETELY NOT ACCEPTABLE! Manager will not be in until midnight tonight … plan on calling her later. Offering us some food does not make up for the loss of $ 40 worth of clothing!

I have mixed feelings about this one but in general it kinda sucks. Like any DD you’re guaranteed to get the wrong order about 57% of the time but yet I keep going back…
One time the cashier forgot to give me a receipt so I told her since they have that stupid sticker «if we don’t give you a receipt your order is free»… Well that’s a big fat lie. The lady grabbed the receipt, shoved it into my hand and shooed me away.
Several times I’ve ordered in the drive through only to be forced to repeat my order at the window because they «forgot»… What was all that beeping and booping I heard when I was ordering then???
The real icing on the cake was a couple days ago when I ordered an iced caramel coffee no sugar light cream and a toasted blueberry bagel plain cream cheese. In addition to clearly no caramel in my horrible tasting coffee, there was a gnat in it! Then I turned to my bagel for solace from that horror and it was literally the stalest bagel I have ever had in my life. Literally. After that experience I’m pretty much done.

I have stopped her twice on late night occasions after dropping a coworker off at home after work. Both times they were out of chocolate ice cream… Wtf?! No chocolate ice cream?! That is the last time I EVER stop there…

I keep giving this place a try because it’s a Baskin Robbins. The service is always slow and extremely rude, stay away if you like ice cream, it’s horrible.

Sorry but — — sniffle– — I miss the donuts. Now when you order a plain and simple donut, half the time they don’t even have the kind you want, cuz they are so busy making all this other crud they make to try and keep up with the other places they have to keep up with. If you do get a donut, it tastes– — weird. Not like a donut, but like a blob of something icky. Lardy, with a coffee flavor infused permanently into it. Yuk, Not a bakery yummy donut anymore. Never mind, Dunkin Donuts, I don’t even know why that is your name anymore. Poser. Luring me in with the sweet promise of bakery, then giving me nothing but «We are out of that». But your coffee rules. That’s why you get a star at all — for the awesome coffee.

always makes a good cup of coffee with the right amount of cream and sugar. Thank God it is basically behind my house!

I believe this is the nearest 24 hour Baskin Robbins location to O’Hare. This location also has the «Dunkin Deli» with sandwiches, soups and salads. If you need to grab a midnight Cappuccino Blast near the airport, this is the place to go!
