This place is a great hang out in general. A good place to meet up with friends. Great atmosphere, great people, and a fantastic beverage selection. Always an awesome time at MJ Sullivan’s Pub!

I drove up. Everyone hanging outside looked at me and the girl I was coming up with. I didn’t feel comfortable and I got back in the car. That’s it.

Stony Brook, NY
Best bar in town! Has live bands and karaōke on the weekends. Has two big pool tables, which me and my friends come here for. The bar is never too crowded, which is a plus for me. You need to be 23 to get in, though they won’t ID you. They have pool tournaments during the week somedays. This is just the perfect bar to relax and have a drink and have some fun! I’d recommend as my favorite bar to go to!

No food, which sux, crowd nice, friendly atmosphere, during week better. Weekend, bar is trashed, Place is a mess and Service is not good.

I stopped in here for a few drinks with some friends on a week night. The bar staff was nice and friendly and the place was clean. The Quick Draw was a big plus. 5 Stars

I wouldn’t say it’s a pub or Irish bar there’s really nothing Irish about it, It’s a dive bar. The owner was extremely nice and the price of drinks were great! However one of the workers (an older man) made me and my party extremely uncomfortable. It was karaōke night and you could tell he was drinking he started to sing but instead of singing he ran around the bar screaming at everyone into the microphone it was very uncomfortable for everyone and should have been stopped.

This place is great! The owner Kathy is so nice! They host fantastic parties and fundraisers for any type of event and the staff is friendly and courteous. They have bands on Saturday nights and a DJ on Fridays. Give this place a try and stop in for a drink or come in on the weekend and listen to the great music they offer or even host a party at this wonderful local neighborhood spot you’ll feel like you’re at CHEERS! Enjoy!
