I went there for the first time last night to celebrate a friends birthday and the people were awesome and the bartender Rox was awesome. Everyone was super friendly and actually conversed with many different people which was very welcoming.

A couple of friends and I went to the bar Saturday night around 10:30PM. The place was not crowded. There are 2 pool tables and people were playing at both the tables. We put our names down on the board for the pool table, ordered our drinks and waited for about 30 – 40 mins. The drinks were good. We played three games of pool. The place had started to get a little crowded by then. The bartender was nice. The people were friendly enough. My boyfriend was on crutches and he seemed to be the star of our group with people admiring him for playing pool even after being hurt. We definitely like this place over the ones on Castro. Less crowded, cheaper drinks and you can pick songs you want to listen to at juke box.

Found a cool bar, where I can go and have a drink after a long day. My day was somewhat hard. I have learned that going out by yourself is not that had. Im actually good company. Lol… I like the people and environment. My new spot.

Great place to hang out, drinks are really good and the prices are good too, bathrooms always clean and neat, even if it’s a crowded Friday and Saturday. Pool tables are okay, they need a little bit of work, other than that you can enjoy your time here.

Bert, the owner is such a sweet heart. Went to her new location in which they’re getting ready for opening gave me a warm greeting as I walked up to her establishment. She informed me about her other bar, Alibi and I obliged her advice! Shout out to Brooke! Awesome bar tender! I will definitely be back :)

If you are looking for a dirty dive in mountain view come here. Place itself is pretty clean but the people not so much…

Been driving by this lil bar for years finally stopped by for a shot of Jameson last night and really felt welcomed and valued. Bartender was super nice and friendly and I plan to return soon. I need one of those T-shirts too

Ok. As an ex bartender… this place is the best. A bartender that cares more about who is driving home then anything else is a A++++ place to me. New to area. Nice people. But again, Roxanne who was the bartender wouldn’t serve until she knew who was driving home which was amazing! Ordered Über and she said car is fine for night but friends came to drive us home. Again, any place that cares less about serving more drinks and more about the people is an amazing place to me! Tip well! They care about people 100%!!!

Classic dive bar. –Drinks are about $ 4 – 6 –pool table –juke box –friendly regulars/staff –quick reliable bar tenders Sometimes they have food and they were playing Comedy Central on the TV behind the bar. Defiantly Recommend.

Been going here for a loooong time. A lot has changed over the years, but I have always felt welcome. Bartenders are awesome. We always see a friend or two when we walk in the door. A little disappointing that the only décor these days are tons of alcohol ads. I miss all the crap on the walls back in the Ugly’s days. But, we will always be back. We could always use an Alibi ;)

This is the most disgusting bar I’ve ever had the displeasure of entering. When you first walk up, theres an overflowing garbage can and a circle of regulars freestyling and taking street drugs, you really can’t tell which smells worse, the trash or the trash? Upon going through the doors one will happen upon the dingy outdated bar where the drinks are fairly priced but taste horrible. Bathrooms clearly couldnt be cleaned on a regular basis. My advice: go to the liquor store next door, save your money and your time.

This is my new chill spot. I feel like I’m home when I come here. Nice people. A few cutey pies that are easy to talk to. Tina Bo Bina is a sweety and. a cutey and so is the bearded dude. I dig this joint.

Like this bar specially the pool tables but they got really small parking lot which is hassle sometimes to find parking. They do offer free complimentary snacks on the side. I do feel they do need more number of employees than just one bar tender.

after having a long day of shopping I decided to stop by here and have a drink. I have been here many times and everytime I come here I always get disappointed but I come because this place is literally right next door to the place that I live at. so it’s basically walking distance for me. this place seriously needs more bartenders because every time I come here there’s usually one girl that works here and she has a very big attitude problem and there are also weird people that stand outside in front of the bar and ask you things such as can you give me a ride around to the back of the bar which makes me feel very weird an uncomfortable. they also have hotdogs and chips as a complimentary things and it looks like they have been sitting there all day. they could seriously use a little bit of repairs and have some nice music and a security or bouncer.

This place is a dump, trashy rude, burnt out people behind the bar, i would call them bartenders but they do absolutely no trending only hating, unless of course you’re with one of them, otherwise your an outsider they don’t remember cus they stay belligerent n sour. Not very business savvy if you ask me, considering the crowd consist of j cats, rejects, a few dogs, fat miserable insecure girls, but yeah its nothing much to it, shady pouring from the cheap ass well, the place has a horrid stench, if you look under the pool tables you’ll find luggage, back packs and trash bags, i believe transits live there. Your best bet is to Stay away, unless your okay with chillin in a clogged toilet bowl, the place, is complete sh_it. A hell no never again in my life ! Just keep it pushing, or set yourself up for disappointment, disgust, and ugh! Complete bottom of the barrel service & people.

Alibi’s is THE dive bar. The bartenders are alright, I’ve never had a problem. There are some real characters in here. some lovable, some irritating, some just trying to play some pool. The jukebox is awesome and loud, and the clientele usually have good taste(no top-40-saccharine-house-ke$ha crap here) but occasionally there will be someone who has bought up $ 40 credits worth of Garth Brooks. Cheap beer, free nachos,(mostly) harmless drunks. Be warned: this place gets crowded.

This is a dive bar within walking distance from a friend’s place. We come here when we want to have a drink close by and don’t feel like driving. The drinks have always been strong, the bartenders friendly… The clientele seems to be mostly comprised of regulars. People know each other here. We are recognized when we come in and that’s a plus, especially since we aren’t there all the time.

Don’t expect to get any kind of decent service unless you’re one of the regulars. Also– the best review of this place was actually intended to be a review of Mountain View Police. That«there are a lot of people with warrants there and the cops are always hassling them.» Here’s an idea– don’t have warrants!

Alibi is aptly named, it’s the kind of place where you may want an alibi to use to enter and exit. I’ve observed the worst of dive bar debauchery here, one night someone was tore up from the floor up and ended up on said floor, on another a full out brawl broke out between patrons and the bartender had to get involved to break it up. If that’s your scene, that’s cool, but it’s not really what I’m looking for when I want to just unwind with a drink. I’d much rather prefer to not have to think about the best escape strategy to get to the door to avoid getting tangled up in other people’s drama, thanks but no thanks, it’s not for me. Bottom line: Alibi strikes me as a legit dive bar, of the kind where one may witness any and all types of stereotypical drunken behavior. If that’s your scene, great, but I’ll stick to the dive bars where I won’t have to worry about getting tangled up in a bar brawl.
